Cynder (II) - 2009 - Pencil (digital color added 2025)

Really put this one under the knife this time and made some pretty major edits to the lineart in addition to the digital color. Mostly because there's way better reference out there now compared to when this was originally drawn :0

Original scan under the cut for the curious. I only tweaked what I thought was the most egregious... didn't want to transform it too much, but it was really bothering me that I had gotten parts of her wrong, especially knowing that it wasn't because I was taking liberties with the design LOL

Dreams of pastel dragons 🍭

Had an itch for something very soft and dreamy, got vague memories of seeing greeting cards with soft airbrushed colours and darker lines and details.

Trying the new pastel brushes in procreate.
