I don't wanna act like there is a real answer, but like, there is FRICTION in this. The alter we think was the original, lets call him Dee, was suicidal, but he was also SUPER christian. He resolved this by manipulating another alter, Tee, into being unable to kill himself, and then being host, and then making sure Tee didn't realize he was a system, and then Dee fucked off and we've never heard from him again.

He made a loophole and now all the rest of us that split from Tee kinda have this rule built in too. We can't let ourselves die.

It's frustrating. I don't WANT to die, but it's still upsetting to have that be someone else's choice, especially someone who fucked off at the first chance he saw.

Sometimes I do kinda wish I could just walk into the sea with both of my middle fingers up in the air and be done with it...

I can't even pretend I'm consistent about this, cause I'm just as bitter that parts of the system are gone and left us weaker and more broken as I am that I can't just be done too.

I'm looking for something more. "Why" is a good starting word for a question though! Let's loom at the levels of questions.

Level 1 is questions that seek an answer you can point to. Like "What is the color of this text?"

Level 2 questions need deeper thinking and connection. Like "What is the difference between an ask and a private message?"

using myself as an example, im transfem and face transphobia, misogyny, and transmisogyny because of that. but im also white, and the privilege i have from that isnt erased by the fact im also an oppressed minority.
