To pair with the headcanon that Drift loathes Chromedome I already had a headcanon that he hates Rewind, so I guess he just can’t stand that couple in general

#‘why would’t he like rewind’ rewind missed the beginning of the war and tends to regurgitate early war propaganda as absolute fact #completely ignoring his own lack of primary sources ie being there and being seemingly unbothered that his archive has such bias #meanwhile drift is someone who I’ve always hc’d as having a lot of pull in the early days of the decepticons #not so much later but absolutely back in the days when being the only trained assassin in the group meant you were an asset #he was there for those conversations and those decisions and those events#so when rewind references some old news clip that paints what happened in an entirely incorrect light #such as the decepticons ‘stealing Sentinel Prime’s head from the Primal Basilca’#it makes drift want to throw him out the airlock #not that anyone would ever know!
