It's a pleasure to announce that Pet Sitting 4 Comfort (PS4C) becoming Fear Free Certified® Professionals through Fear Free Veterinary Certification Program*.  *Fear Free is a new initiative sweeping veterinary medicine designed to ease the stress, fear, and anxiety so many pets experience while at the veterinarian. There are currently no specific programs for pet sitters, so we completed the modules designed for veterinary staff, which had a lot of useful information and ideas that are applicable to professional pet sitting and pet ownership. We are pleased to announce that our Co-Founder/Certified Veterinary Assistant, Hong-An, has completed CPPS professional pet sitter certification through one of the leading pet-sitter associations, National Association of Professional Pet Sitters (NAPPS) in efforts to continue providing quality customer service and exceptional pet care to your furry loved ones! 🐶😸🐭🐹🐰🦜 The NAPPS Certification Course is a broad-range and in-depth self-paced course covering all topics relevant to pet sitting, including pet care , health, nutrition and behavior for a variety of animals (cats, dogs, birds, rabbits, and exotic animals like Guinea pigs, hamsters, mice, ferrets, fish, lizards, amphibians, hermit crabs). It also includes business development and management, pet safety and a complete pet first aid course. The NAPPS Certification acknowledges that the pet sitter is a serious professional who has obtained a high level of expertise through his/her study. A quiz is presented after each section, and an overall score of 75% or higher must be obtained in order to pass the course/exam. NAPPS Certification is good for three (3) years.
