petite love

There are times I leave work and wonder why I am not doing homework, thinking I forgot a major assignment or reading...then I remember I it's all OVER. 

I passed my NCE. Only 3,000 hours stand between me and my professional license (!).

My job is the most challenging, exhausting undertaking I have experienced. I am 150% utterly in love with it. Each day I am overwhelmed with the resilience children have. Their stories can seem unfathomable to the human ear. At times I wonder how much difference I could even make.  But I know I try, every day. With all my heart.

Amazing people have come into my life and stayed. Late night camp fires. Glasses of wine. Laughing. To say I am lucky is an understatement.

I watched my best friend get married. Another few are on the deck. Seeing the people you love, in love, is quite possibly the best. (and an open bar does not hurt).

Ombre hair has literally changed my life. Oh, and wearing white jeans on the reg. The perfect oversized linen sweater completes all my fashion needs for summer.  

White gel mani? Yes. 

Naps. Naps unplanned. Naps with a fan. Naps in the sun. Never, Ever, Ever underestimate the power of a nap.

What are your thoughts on this tote? I've been searching high and low for a summer/beach/notreallygoonbeach tote. Is it too big? Is it silly to pay for a STRAW tote? Is it practical?
