Agreeable Friends

She squeaked when he jumped on her back. She looked behind her and smiled. She knew what to do. She held the red panda tight and ran away from the crowd of people to a more secluded and quiet location.

She lowered herself so the red panda can get off her back safely. “Awe you ok, panda-chan?”

Hikari looked up at the poor little red panda being crowded by those mean people. “Choto! Get away! Get away! Youwe scawing him!” She tried to scare the people away, but she was less than intimidating with her cute face and small growl.

“Ya like that? Good, right? My fiancee made it for me.” Guzma sits on the ground, feeling a tad more relaxed than he was before. True, he still hasn’t identified this Pokemon, but she doesn’t seem dangerous.

“So, uh… You belong to anyone? Nod once for yes, twice for no. Seein’ as I don’t know what kinda Pokemon you are - I’m guessin’ some kinda not-Alolan Persian? - I’m thinkin’ ya might be lost.”

That’s a lot of questions, man-cub. Slow down a little.

Arthur “The (Blind) Painter” Moore was at her enclosure, observing her. His coal black eyes were as dull as uncleaned windows. Maybe he was blind? He showed a kind smile on his face. “Such beauty, yet, so deadly.” He softly spoke to himself. “How her dark, yet soft fur gleamed with the sunlight, her beautiful eyes are that of stars. The beautiful creature of the hunt.”

How on earth did he manage to describe her to the bone? There was something off about him, but how could they know. People say that he has a gift, other say he’s a demon. Who knows.

Tiffany is the newest addition to the auction yard. The owners thought that maybe having a friendly cat on the premises would help calm the animals down. So far it’s worked out fairly well, but there IS one animal she hasn’t visited yet - and Tiffany is going to fix that right now.

Koda had seemed particularly sad after the auctions during the day, most likely because it was another day gone by that no one had picked him. That’s why Tiffany decides to stroll over to his enclosure and hop onto one of the posts making up its fence so she can rub her fluffy cheek against his muzzle.

Ruby is running through the grasslands she calls home when she spots something in the distance. Something she’s never seen before. Some sort of animal-human hybrid? It warrants a closer look, causing her to bound over and stare them down with absolutely no concept of personal space.

Ebele is watching the various people as they pass her enclosure at the big cat rescue, her golden eyes flicking from face to face. Sometimes they stop to look at her. Other times they walk on by.
