I’m so happy to finally share this moment with you. For over four years now, @heatherhimes and I have been going the distance. A relationship like this is not easy. Splitting time between the Uk and America has been expensive, difficult and definitely lonely at times. Although, it’s also been incredibly magically, life changing and has encouraged us to grow so much, individually and a couple. Between the distance and the people who didn’t believe in us, due to religious beliefs or old-skool homophobia, our never ending love has conquered the darkest of times. I couldn’t have hoped for a more magical day. We got married in the most beautiful gardens in Charlotte North Carolina. My dress was hand made by my incredibly talented mother. I don’t think there’s words to describe how special that felt, wearing a dress that was hand crafted with such love and acceptance. I promise I’ll make a video all about the wedding, the day, the dress. There’s just too much to say.
