Thats how i type with long nails. Its not very impractical, especially in comparison to using your nose. Also im sure you have finger pads, your claws are attached to something and they need blood flow to grow, if they didn’t they would fall off.

You know you dont need to type with your nose right? Just use the pad of your finger rather than the tip. Its a bit difficult to type accurately unless you type with your thumbs though
