pros: getting to have a wedding, family will stop bothering you about when you're going to meet someone, forever sleepovers, tax deductions, getting a nice place together, pooling together your book/game/movie collection, having someone to talk to in person whenever

So 2017 on the whole wasn’t a great year, had a few deaths in my family and person struggle. Ended up back on anti-anxiety and depression meds.

Earlier this year someone encouraged me to step out of my comfort zone. I’m sure they only really meant professionally but  I’ve applied it to my personal life too.

I’ve tried new foods: my god I love quinoa.

I’ve tried new clothes: I’m dressing a little younger, a little more age appropriate instead of a retired librarian.

I had a three-way/poly relationship: While not without its own turmoil it was fun. Very sad that it's over but, they have their lives to live and so do I.

I had sex with a woman and discovered I am bisexual: I already astethically identified as Pan and figured bi/pan/etc but didn't know if sexually i would actually respond.

I developed a crush (not a lush) on a woman. Got my little ARO heart bruised but it’s still ticking.

Overall I’m happy that I stepped out of my comfort zone. If i hadn’t i wouldn’t have experienced a month long euphoria of having a crush, the best sex of my life, or the realization that I’ve been stuck for years and it’s been stunting my personal and professional growth.
