Nail Art

I think this sheer holo is the perfect summer color. They aren’t the best, but I haven’t painted nails in 2 years and I did these quickly in the bathroom, finishing them only minutes before my 13 month old woke up. I’m hoping to add some art over them during tomorrows nap, but I also have a 9 week old puppy, so who knows.

It’s super late and I can’t sleep, these nails are my vibe right now.

Life got in the way of me painting my nails. I picked up some other hobbies and had a few big life changes. I’m thinking of picking nail art up again though, so I’m looking back at some of my favorite past nails for inspiration. My designs won’t be as complicated and I probably won’t post often, but hopefully I can get back to it!

Since I haven’t been doing my nails a lot recently, I thought I’d try a simple textured glittery look for autumn nails. I used Julep— Fawn and Ciaté— putting on the ritz.

I haven’t been posting much since I got married. These were my wedding nails. Since I practiced them beforehand, it took me about 30 minutes to paint them. My wedding was outside, so I went for a wildflower look.

I’ve started crocheting, so I’m not painting my nails as much. But here is a picture of some test nails for my upcoming wedding. My dress is slightly off white, so I wasn’t sure what color to paint my nails. The floral design was painted with Zoya— Cho, on top of that I alternated between 2 coats of Zoya— Jane and Tabitha. I found Tabitha to be a bit too yellow, so I’m going to use Jane for the wedding. I think I still need to work on my floral pattern a bit, I might even try stamping it.

I haven’t felt Iike painting, luckily my nails have held up well. There is only a little chip on my right pinky and left index.

10 days after painting, the weather provided the perfect lighting to show off the iridescent 25 that I cut out for my 25th birthday.

Here is another picture of my cats and coffee birthday nails. I tried to make my coffee look like a cat, but I think it looks more like a bear. It’s still cute though.

For my 25th birthday, I painted a few of my favorite things, cats and coffee. I also love holographic polish and iridescent foils so I included those too.

Going for some tropical vibes with this gradient and hand painted birds. My left hand is a chestnut headed bee eater, my right hand is a stork billed kingfisher.
