idk chanlix are soooo special to me (crowd says no shit) you're in this new unfamiliar place full of strangers and you're not completely confident in the language yet but there's this guy. and his accent sounds like home. and everyone says he's strict and a little mean but he lets you call him chris. and you bust your ass off working and still almost don't make it. and he's there telling you he won't leave you behind no matter what. and he doesn't. and you get to take over the world together. and you share a life and a room and sometimes a bed. and the first time you perform in your hometown he breaks down and apologizes for being harsh on you in front of thousands of your fans. and you don't see it that way at all. you just see the person without whom you wouldn't be where you are. and you cry too and you hug it out. and you keep the first birthday present he's ever gotten you, unworn in a box in a closet, because special things have to be preserved. and he calls you his soulmate and tells you he feels like you've been connected ever since he was born (he's two years older than you) and he tells you his dreams of one day getting a house with you, with a gaming room and a couple of dogs running around. and people tell you there's no such thing as a perfect person but that's what he is to you. because he tries. because he doesn't know how not to.
