So.
*Gently taps the microphone*
I want to announce that Monroe has been officially added to my "hear me out" list.
Thank you for your attention.
one of my favoritest things in ukrainian language is that the milky way is called the chumak's way, chumaks being traditional salt merchants that traveled by bull-driven wagons, with the implication that stars are the salt that got scattered along the road
Playing Human Revolution in 2019: Wow, that's a cool fantasy, no way we're this fucked in 2027.
Playing Human Revolution in 2025: Wow, that's a cool fantasy, too optimistic for 2027.
There's one thing I absolutely hate about Mankind Divided ending. Like, Marchenko is a third-rate villain, yeah.
But we're from the same city. He probably liked my favorite pub. And knows the best shawarma place. He probably knows that spot at the end of the 10th city bus route - the one on a hill that gets you the perfect view on the Khortytsia island and the Dnipro river around it. (Watching sunset there is to die for.)
And they don't give me the option to convince him. Like, kill him or imprison him.
And well, I can't.
And don't even get me started with a parallel between Adam being from Detroit and Marchenko being from Zaporizhzia. Industrial city, automotive stuff, overall weary vibe - it does feel deliberate.

Dragon Age: The Veilguard Tumblr Fandom Stats
Following the release of Bioware's official player choice stats, I'm curious to see how the Tumblr fandom measures up. This Google Form contains all the questions from the official stat graphics, as well as a few that were not included that I'm personally curious about.
This form contains major endgame spoilers. Do not click the link until you've finished the game.

Woke up, watched the second act, and oh well.
That wasn't Jayce Talis, that was Jayce Giopara.
If you get it, you get it.
At this point, no one can stop me from sketching my Deus Ex OC's.
Not even me.
OZH.
Oscar-Zulu-Hotel.
Three letters, too simple.
IATA code for Zaporizhzhia airport.
To be precise, it's called "Mokraya international", which I considered to be particularly fun, because "Mokraya" basically means "wet" if I was to translate it.
The fact that it was located on Blakytna st. didn't help either, as "Blakytna" means "Blue".
So yeah, wet airport is located on a blue street. Simple as that. What a wonderful combination of adjectives.
Never been to its new terminal, though. Was in the old one back in the day. Spent a whole lotta time in the boiler room as a kid, because my granddad happened to work there.
Lost him last year.
Sometimes I just wish to go back to the days when the wet airport on the blue street sounded fun.
Because right now it's just another wound that's far away from healing.
Damn them all.

Are you fucking kidding me? Am I actually seeing a russian blog on Tumblr showing off literal loot from Ukraine their war criminal daddy got them? Am I going insane?
Would it be weird to say I'm not surprised?
i always come back to the fact that the guy who wrote "Oh bury me, then rise ye up/And break your heavy chains/And water with the tyrants' blood/The freedom you have gained" is also a guy, who painted a naked self-portrait and I feel like it says a lot about us that we call him our prophet.
Okay but can we talk about how these two give the same vibes???
Me&my bestie after literally any social event we have to attend:
Me: Maybe you'll finally stop sketching your oc's of two years and will start actually writing?
Also me: Look what I've got, it's Rey

Ah yes, my favourite league of legends support - goth Frank Pritchard.
🪶Kharakternyk
A kharakternyk was a Cossack who was credited with possessing magical powers or was gifted by another witch (Asra?). The image of the Cossack character began to take shape during the Zaporozhian Sich, when magical powers were attributed to Cossack leaders by their subordinates. Later, the kharakternyks were reflected in Ukrainian folklore and folk beliefs as invulnerable to bullets, i.e. immortal warriors (something like Ilya?), capable of transforming into animals, enchanting weapons, etc.
