Wiki for the Magenta Paradise dating sim has finally been released! Take a look to see what the game is about, what characters there are, and the different routes you can take (there are a a LOT of endings).

Unlike the Phillip seen in-game, in this drawing we gave him a very youthful appearance. However, we eventually realized that for the role he had in the game, a more aged appearance was better suited for him.

Instead of wearing the typical crown seen in Magenta royalty, we gave Phillip a wreath crown that encompasses the values seen in Manberg. His outfit also reflects this idea, appearing more simple and elegant in comparison to the more showy outfits seen in Magenta.

The female player's appearance may not appear in-game, but here are some sketches of what we think she'd look like!

Her hair length looks a bit inconsistent here because our team couldn't come to an agreement. However, we all agreed that giving her a bow really completed her look. That's why there are so many variations!

Although he doesn't play a major part in any of the three storylines, this mysterious figure has been at the center of many players' recent theories. How has a single character sparked so much controversy and speculation? Is it due to his appearance? Or perhaps his heroic aura? Whatever the reason, his charm has inexplicably drawn the attention of many.

Discussion about this character has also bled into theories about the hint revealed a little while ago, about the secret ending and its connection to 'dreams'. However, we won't say anything more on the matter. Our fans are a brilliant group of people, so I'm sure you guys will be able to figure it out! We believe in you guys :)

These were some of the earliest drawings we made during the beginning stages of creating our game. This is because Wilbur was the first and easiest character to design. We had a very clear vision for his appearance and role in the story, so it was not difficult to imagine how he'd look!

He's also the only male lead wearing a high-collar suit. We thought it was very fitting!

Our team had a lot of fun designing the masks of the love interests. To consider shape, accessories, and patterns that best represented each character uniquely posed an interesting challenge. We tried our best to avoid overlaps when possible.

We went back-and-forth on some of the other smaller details. (Would the eyes show or not? Should they get new outfits to match the occassion? Etc.) Difficult decisions like this often took quite a lengthy amount of time to resolve, despite the simplicity of the question.

Thankfully, it seems that we made many correct choices. Thank you all for continually showing your love and support. We are eternally grateful!

Although the player's appearance does not canonically show up in-game, here are a few sketches we whipped up for the male lead. Just for fun!

He's a bit awkward and clumsy, so we debated giving him glasses to tone down his cool vibes a little. Honestly, there isn't much else for us to add.

It may be surprising to you all to hear that Darryl was not always meant to be the third romance target. His spot was challenged by none other than Zak, and the idea was that the two could swap places without altering the story. However, we eventually chose Darryl because his personality posed as the gentle counterpart to the other two fiercer male leads.

His design reflects this need for balance as well. Because Technoblade wears long hair and Wilbur sports a shorter cut, Darryl acted as the in-between with his medium-length hair.

In summation, each character was designed to be as strikingly different as posible. Queen Minx, for instance, was highlighted by her sharper angles and detailed features. The royal advisor was the opposite, designed to be as featureless and simplistic as possible. And the butler who anwers the player's questions was designed to be monochromatic (though it's a bit difficult to see that contrast in these particular sketches).

Some of you may not recognize one of the chracters on the second row. That is because Caroline (left) acts as the best friend of the female route, and Fundy (right) plays the best friend in the male route! They are counterparts of each other, playing the same role, thus sharing similar features. Though if you recognized both, having played both routes, I must admit we are very impressed!

Sorry if we missed some of your favorites. I promise we haven't forgotten them! There are just so many designs that we couldn't possibly fit them all in one post. We may wrap back around to this in the future, but until then, thank you for your continued support!

We struggled a lot with this character's design. Because Technoblade appears in many forms of media, our team was divided on which appearance suited him best. What was the best way to showcase both his elegance and ruthlessness? These early sketches represent that exact struggle we faced via the varying crown sizes, scar shape/locations, facial features, clothing, etc.

Still, there were one key feature we decided from very early on. Although Alexander has worn many hairstyles in the past, we unanimously agreed that his long iconic braid from the "Hog Hunt" series was the most popular choice. He has many other famous looks, of course, but thankfully it seems like our fans agree with our interpretation!

The prince's design has come a long way since then, to say the least. Although his origins aren't exactly pretty, we are so proud of his final look, and we're glad you love it too!

Design-wise, his was the most straightforward. His real person already has many unique, recognizable features. In-game, we chose to depict him in such a way that he'd be easily identifiable by his jagged hair and thick eyebrows!

One of the biggest struggles we ran into was the type of clothes appropriate for a butler. Because he's such an important character, it was important to find an outfit that properly balanced his role in the story with his status in the in-game world. What could we add that'd make him stand out from other butlers, without making him appear too fancy for a person of his standing? We faced many challenges with that.

Thankfully, we are very satisfied with the current design of Zak. As a supportive friend who's never afraid to speak his mind, we were glad to give him a proper appearance reflecting his bright personality :)

This is a really exciting time for me, and I hope it's just as exciting for all my old readers! As promised, I have uploaded the first chapter of my new fic :) Summary below:

Dating simulators are gross. A fictional world filled with unrealistically hot boys, all vying for the attention of a lonely protagonist with a conveniently hidden past. Such a convoluted, overused concept. If it were up to George, he would never set foot in such a cursed genre.

It's been so long since I've shared my work with others that I can't help but be a bit nervous, haha. (I even have to relearn how AO3 works...)

I'm currently thinking of publishing the first chapter once Dream releases his 6 hunters video, but we'll see how it goes!
