every time I see this I completely lose it like seriously I love it

people will say they aren’t attractive and then go create art and then go write beautiful poetry and then go bake a cake for a friend and then go spread positivity and then go write a novel and then continue to say they aren’t attractive, as if everything they do doesn’t count or doesn’t matter, as if societal expectations somehow decide their worth and fate.

Putting my Berniebroness aside, maybe it’s not the smartest idea to continue holding primaries in the middle of a public health emergency caused by a disease whose primary target is the people most likely to vote in primaries in the first place? Maybe that’s the definition of recklessly endangering people? And aside from the obvious health hazard,  might it not keep people who were going to vote from going to the polls? Perhaps it would have made more sense to postpone them until June? Doesn’t this whole debacle give Tuesday’s primaries a tiny little whiff of illegitimacy? Just a bit?
