my very first attack for my awesome awesome best friend!!!!!! i LOVE the pose i chose for this drawing so much, i think i captured the energy of it very well,, and i also really like how I did the hands!!! the background was kind of improvised, but i think it turned out fine :]

(i DID accidentally start drawing a little early with this one, it was july 1st but 2 hours away from the event starting cus i forgot about timezones, whoopsies!!)

my third attack! i think I found this guy a week away from july, and IMMEDIATELY had a vision on what I wanted to draw (that + i was captivated by their customized character description, it's so so pretty),, i didn't perfectly capture exactly what I wanted, but it turned out nice anyways

the main thing i really like about this one is the background! i am BAD at backgrounds, especially trees, so I do not know what happened here haha, it turned out way better than I thought it would, thank GOD

this one is honestly very simple, but my only animated one! i just really liked drawing a 2d rpg-style attack, and i think it turned out very funny.

fun fact, I actually hadn't decided what the speech bubble would say until i already did majority of the art, and it initially was going to be something like "so about that..."

this one was FUUUUN to do, the background chain-text didnt turn out exactly how I wanted, but it was still fun all around

I drew this guy when I was in a recording studio, sitting in to voice actors for an animation project, and WAS NOT ALLOWED TO MOVE because of the noise it'd make. the drawing took a while but it gave me something to do in the like, 2 hours i was there lol.

this was a revenge i did for a VERY nice attack I got of my fish lady, both nice in the beautiful artwork itself, and also nice because they left a paragraph talking about little details they liked about my oc?? and even recommended me a song that they said reminded them of my oc?? AND TRANSLATED THE SONG TOO??????

i HAD to make something of equal love, so i read this guy's backstory and felt like i was reading a storybook, and then just thought "oh what if i make a storybook-themed attack" and here we are!

i tried a more water-color style of shading, which turned out very nice, and im proud of myself for this one all together hehe

hehehehe very happy with myself for coming up with this stupid idea

i try to attack these two every year, A) because theyre cute, B) because i know the artist really likes these two characters, and C) because their revenges are GORGEOUS??? ,, and i know the first time i attacked them i drew them doing something silly, so i decided to keep with that theme this season too!

this is also a beautiful example of me being bad at backgrounds haha

i didn't put polished at the time of submitting the attack, but looking back i feel like i should've

i did a different style of shading with this one, using more soft/hard edges with the airbrush instead of my usual only hard edges,, and even though i didnt draw a face (though i TRIED, it doesnt look good believe me) i feel like these turned out so much better than i thought they would!!

the characters were very charming as well :]

i found this guy on the AF homepage in the "new characters" section, saw their name was beetle, saw they were fucking ADORABLE, and immediately drew them hehehe

the ombre was a little bit of a challenge honestly, I was trying to avoid a yucky green in the middle of the yellow and blue, and also didn't want the yellow in places it shouldn't be,, but hey it looks fine now i think !!

i generally jus think this is a really cute attack, fitting for a really cute character :]

I found this lovely character TWO YEARS AGO, back when I first heard of artfight. i meant to draw them that year, didn't get around to it,, then tried again the previous year, also failed, and THIS TIME finally succeeded! yay!

the character design is GORGEOUS, and that probably contributes to why I ended up liking this drawing so much,, i feel i captured that imposing and soft beauty pretty nicely!

another revenge! i DID NOT expect it to turn out this good AT ALL, but i locked in halfway through the drawing and went "yup, i need to put my everything into this piece now."

the patterned dress wasnt hard to do necessarily, moreso annoying, but it turned out REALLY nice in the end, save for a few mistakes that hopefully arent too noticeable haha

I also did the soft/hard edges-airbrushing shading technique, and it looks SUPER nice, i especially like how the face turned out!!

the background colors were a looot of a struggle, initially they were going to be a much brighter blue/green to try and compliment the purple and orange, but it just wasn't looking nice. the final you see here is the result of messing around with overlay layers and settings :]

the cat was very fun to draw, i recently got two kittens of my own and thus it was my responsibility to draw a cute cat lol
