in my "bronchial" multiverse there's a branch of worlds where death is not always the end because necromancy isn't just possible and legal but also studied in three disciplines of bone, flesh and soul, created by these three philosophers of their time, successors to the skeleton lords and mothers of death from the past timelines

the higher order of the multiverse makes a single world in it to be a come together of different histories, and in one of them there was the legion of the ember crown, a continent-wide spiritual network started by a council of undead wizards to properly collect the memories of the dead, later becoming the library of the worm (the first pic btw !!)
