The pure embarrassment of finally watching a show/movie and being instantly charmed by the character you know everyone else already loves. Like omg guys have you seen them?? I kinda really like them a lot... yk, the literal town blorbo™. Fuck

It's not the ending that devastated me, it's not even about that dumb excuse for a kiss. I just think they deserved to say that they loved each other, and the absence of it stuck out in the script so obtusely that I can't help but feel a sense of injustice.

I think its genuinely homophic that in 2026 one of the very few actually canon queer pieces of media gets fucked over as if we're supernatural fans or something. Like c'mon guys... not again. This was supposed to be a win finally.

Something I find really funny (not rlly) is how whenever a poetic, romantic artist tries to portray some metaphysical concept or metaphor, it is almost always portrayed as a naked woman. Like, some I understand depending on what they are trying to symbolise, and hey, I love women! But most of the time it just feels like a mischaracterisation. For instance, Arthur Streetons 'Spirit of the drought' (1896) portrays the gothic theme of drought and natural destruction in postcolonial Australia. Ah gee, I wonder if the personification of these themes is something creative and representative, like a bird of prey or an animal skeleton. Omg wait no ofc!! A naked white woman! Fuck, why didn't I think of that... >ω<
