putting yourself first is not always a bad thing. you don’t have to help everyone else first if it means you’ll be falling behind or hurting yourself. you have to look after yourself too.

a reminder that everyone on social media is retouched to some degree and life is too short to feel bad about yourself because of that. your body is trying its best to keep u alive so fall in love with it instead of comparing it to something that isn’t real.

Do you ever think about the fact that Marie Kondo is literally a woman in her 30s with two children and internationally recognised as an expert in her field and yet people manage to think they know more than her and says she’s too childish in her approach that prioritises feelings and personal needs of her clients for no particular reason lmao

Common sense should tell people that she has such a childlike approach to her clients because if she marched in there, guns blazing, and told them they needed to remove vast quantities of their belongings from their homes, they’d stand their ground and refuse out of sheer stubbornness. I know I hate being told what to do and how to do it but if someone politely showed me how to do something and asked that I take their advice onboard, I’d be more inclined to listen
