My take on one of my favorite scenes of Into the Spiderverse

spending most of the morning on the local market, choosing vegetables for dinner, trying different kinds of cheese, buying apples and peaches despite the fact that you have them at home, finding out new gossips about neighbours, laughing on the jokes from friendly seller, the smell of fresh bread and the enjoyment from warm weather

“That’s JJ, my best friend since the third grade. He’s about as local as they come. Latest in a long line of fishing, drinking, smuggling, vendetta-holding salt-lifers who make their living off the water. Best surfer I know. Just don’t tell him I said that.
