if there was one thing jonah had learned throughout his life, it was this; bad days got a lot worse before they got better. this theory was semi-proven when - five minutes into his arrival at the block party - someone decide they wanted to moonwalk into his left side. which, you know… would’ve been fine. if he hadn’t had a full cup of beer in his hand. now he stood next to the dimly lit side of the public restrooms, trying to figure out how to get the large stain out of his shirt without being too obvious.

maybe it was the fact that he was still at the beginning of his anger management classes. or maybe he was just too tired and not intoxicated enough to deal with human interaction. whatever it was, when jonah saw the shadow of a person make its way into his personal space, he shot a frustrated look in their direction. “ oh, what? you’re so perfect you’ve never had a bad day? ” he spat, immediately hating how angry he sounded.

Peaches had never really been one for block parties, but they decided to go anyways, just to have a look in. To their surprise, they found themselves having a good time, even engaging in small talk with strangers when approached.

At some point Peaches got separated from Gabri, so they set out to try and find her. During their search, they became less aware of their surroundings, and almost collided with someone as a result.

They immediately took a step back, and raised a brow at the sudden reaction. They were more bemused than truly annoyed or frightened though. “I never said anything.” They pointed out.
