New York has been so wonderful to me. I feel like I’ve had such a beautiful send off. I feel so loved and cherished. I’ve made more friends in the last month that I love than I have in the last year. I usually feel so isolated and reclusive but this has just made me see myself and my connection to others anew. So many exceptional people that has challenged my own definitions of what exceptional means. I am learning how much more I have to learn. I’m sad to leave but this has given me conviction to the education I want to follow. I also had a fake husband for the month who I spent a lot of time with, it was beautiful to feel close to someone after a long time. Although I feel like it sort of ended poorly and unmatched, I’m not even really upset. I’m so happy about its intimacy and beauty and endearment. But more it was a gentle lesson and reminder of both what I’m unlearning and how far I’ve come from past. Also lowkey the kind of disappointing end I feel was perfect and in best interest of everything. It was all just perfect. I had other seemingly perfect instances of love and affection and many many butterflies. I still have a tiny bit before I leave and I have no doubt it will continue to fill me up. I talked to my mum on the phone the other day about how I fall in love so quickly. And I do!
