Once more, the people switched, chestnuts looking around and... awh. Still no Kal. How disappointing. But hey, he was sitting next to Chi! And ohh... they really were soooo cute! Maybe he was getting a little jealous that Oberon got to spend time with them...
Well, seeing as he was the first one to ask, he leaned over and proceeded to ask Rex'xa the first question of the round.
Well lucky or not for Luxian Chi was very interested in his tail. So fluffy.
Rex'xa was...well actually still listing things they liked about mortals and they was onto earlobes. Oh the fox man didn't have earlobes. Well he liked fluffy ears too! And questions.
This, once again, made his eyes light up. A little clap as he beamed.
Oooh I do love it! There is nothing better! Why would I want anything else? It's so fun like when-
Ignore them.
Ooh and the souls were speaking again, freaky!
"Do you love what you do as a concept, or do you wish you could have some freedom?"
Now it was his turn to ask red hair! Silly hair. He loved silly hair!
...Maybe he was learning that it was probably easier to just try and ignore Rex'xa. Or appreciate his more 'not-so-lovesick' side. Such as when he's listening things he likes about mortals for gods knows how long, or going on about his conceptual duties.
Way better than his more unhinged stuff.
Listening to the question, he hummed in thought for a while before finally answering.
I think... I would harm for them if it meant I could save them, but I don't think I could kill for them. It's not something I'm really... into. Or want to do.
Seeing the green glow, it meant he had to take a shot. Reaching for one, he threw it back and... hang on a second... was this just fanta? Why was fanta here?
.......
Oh. Never mind. It's drugged. Of course it was.
Ah, Obes! Finally! With a chuckle, he leaned in, grinning as he asked his question.
Look at that. At long last, Xinalith was finally next to Pax again. It was truly incredible just what the effect he had on them was, for they were practically glowing. Face lighting up, happily content, and of course, hand forcing its way into his. Calm, collected demon once more. Albeit, absolutely fucked off their face.
What a good day.
Speaking of their day, looks like Mothy was asking them something again. At first, they did narrow their eyes as an almost pre-warning to not ask anything fucking weird again, but hearing it this time... well. Seemed he learned his lesson.
Or Jerrikon's effect wore off, but they didn't know that.
Perhaps sneaking off with Pax all day-
Oops.
-and seeing Mammon lose a bet to Jerrikon. Either one of those. Though really, I enjoyed a lot of it.
Well, with that answer, it might already be obvious what was asked of them, even when the runes glowed green. Downing their shot, their face twisted with disgust, before it was quickly replaced with a dopey smile when looking at their beloved.
Hello, you.
They teased, obviously making sure to give his cheek a quick kiss before whispering their question to him.
The same could be said for Pax. More relaxed, a soft smile, warm eyes. The gold in his skin seemed to shimmer more when they were around. It was hard not to feel more alive with them.
Hearing their answer, he could guess about the question, a playful smirk forming. He was not sorry for a moment.
When they leaned in to ask the question he couldn't help but steal a kiss before they went back to their place. The question itself making him smile warmly.
No. I love that moment so much. Sure I sometimes think about how it would have been if you hadn't just been hurt or it happened sooner but I think that everything happened so that the moment could be perfect. It's one of my favourite chapters of us.
I love it, and I love you.
In that moment red glowed and the question repeated.
"When it comes to the first time we confessed, do you ever wish things were done differently?"
This was the same man that sang Xinalith's praises to billions upon billions if not trillions of people. Of course he had no problem being sweet here.
Even Rex'xa could be seen giggling and clapping.
Looking to the other being beside him, hello again, he gave a polite smile. Being near Xinalith again and thinking on that question put him in a good mood. He could throw Asmodeus a bone. Not like that.
In the shuffle it seemed some people were out of the game and, oh hello Chi! So fluffy and innocent and- how did they get away from Death? Were they doing shots? Why was he worried he wasn't going to be blamed.
Moving on to Kl'yth. Seeing as she was in a hitty mood he handed her a note with a question on it.
She could hate him later.
Oh, look at that. She's now sat between singer man (ignore that she was a genuine fan...) and Pinkie Pie. Eugh. Her nose twitched a little as rolled her eyes, just to be given the note.
Alright, so maybe it took her a little bit to read it. Making out like she couldn't see the blasted thing, but when she did? A long 'UGGGGGHHHHHHH' fell from her, scrunching up the piece of paper before bur-
Oh. No. She ate it. That's nice.
Chewing on it slowly, her crimsons staring off in the distance for a moment, the demon of wrath eventually sighed.
No matter what happens, I can always rely on 'em. They've always got somethin' up their sleeve to make matters less shitty, 'n that is somethin' I'll always 'preciate.
Such a shame, the runes glowed green; no one else will be able to know what was asked, making the demon smirk. So with that, a shot was downed, just for her to choke a little.
She did just swallow paper, so...
Sorting herself out, she stared at Pinkie Pie for a few seconds before rolling her eyes and pulling her close to get her question across. Sorry, Lotus.
Despite the runes not revealing the question, Nymphe had a hunch as to what Kl'yth had been asked. How sweet! Oh, she just ate the paper. Okay.ย
Ow! You don't have to be so aggressive, you know.ย
You do realise who you're talking to, right Nymphe?
Her brows furrowed at the question she was asked. Seriously?
I- no?? Obviously not. It'd just turn into charcoal.
Though maybe she'd like the taste of charcoal, being a demon and all. Do demons eat charcoal? The runes began glowing red shortly after, ย with Kl'yth's... uh, culinary inquiry being revealed to the world.ย
โDo ya think I can smoke a salmon if I just light it on fire?โ
Maybe you should ask Google, just in case. Just like how Nymphe will be asking it if demons eat charcoal.ย
Happily sitting in the new spot, though he did wonder where Kal had gone off to seeing as this odd ritual took him out, he smiled warmly at Lotus with a quick swish of his tail. Listening to what she asked, his eyes practically sparkled with glee, his tail wagging even faster.
Oh, oh!
This is probably going to give away the question, huh?
Oh, why, there's so many! I think it must be a tie between the renaissance period or the romanticism period. I absolutely adore the brushwork of many renaissance paintings, and how they make you feel and question whenever you gaze at them! Such vibrancy in many pieces as well, oh they're simply marvellous! But... then the romanticism period is equally as beautiful, truly so powerful with each piece of work that was created! Goodness, I really can't decide...
Jutting his lower lip out into a pout, his tail still swishing away like crazy, he hummed.
Perhaps the renaissance. I will go with the Renaissance. Ah, but romanticism is still very close.
...Well, if it wasn't obvious from his answer, then the question would be revealed regardless. Oh, what a happy fox he was for being asked about his interests!
Next up, it was Io! So, with a soft giggle, and perhaps a quiet apology for rambling, he went on to ask him a question.
Io could consume his fair share before it really became a problem but it seemed he'd hit his limit (temporarily, anyway) when he'd slumped over cold shortly after being called a cheeto.
Cast from the game, Oberon thought that was the end of it, but the moment he'd managed to bring Io 'round again they were sucked back in for more... fun.
Io, at least, was pleased. Higher than an eagle's nuts. But pleased. He leaned in for Luxian's question, assuring the cop fox he'd only had one drink. But when the question was asked, he merely stared for a moment, nodding, before.
SCREEeeeeEeeeEEEeeeeeEEEEEE!
He let out a long whistling shriek followed by several clicks and a singular loud pop.
That. That was the answer.
Over 2,000 sonaric frequencies, 18 distinct clicks, and the position of your eyelids does indeed matter.
Whatever confusion this may have aroused would soon be cleared up as the voices repeated Luxian's question.
And it was back to the interesting looking concept on his left. Such markings! He stared at them a long, loooong moment, almost mesmerized before shaking his head as if snapping himself out of something and asking his question.
@the-concepts
Question: What is the most complicated language that you've learned?
Keep staring and I'll make sure you never see anything again.
Jerrikon huffed and rolled his eyes. Annoying fuck.
Hearing the question his eyes rolled again as he scoffed. What was this? A kindergarten class? Art and fire? Where was the demonic, where was the chaos? Boring. He was bored.
Pax I suppose.
Surely he could make this more fun.
The thing is, he was intoxicated from the curse - speaking of it just hit him again as the circle went green. He got a little Concepty when he was like this which meant his promise to Death was semi going out the window.
When he looked to the...was that a fucking moth dressed like Chi? Does Chi have fan boys?
Wait...stary McGee over there and this weird fan boy were a thing, right?
It was then that an idea sparked. Only a gleam in his eye to say he was up to something.
Leaning in he asked the furry fucker his question. While there though he had a little play around in his mind. Truthfully he wouldn't normally bother with a literal but to him, but he was intoxicated, stuck in this game and bored.
Well, seeing as Mr Fluffkins had made a grand return, Xinalith was taking full advantage of collecting whatever angel dust they had on them. Whilst also giving a pouty look to Pax, anyway. They were clingy and missing him. Yes, they did spend a lot of time together already, and snuck off a lot, but they were clingy. It was their birthday, let them.
But when Oberon's question was heard and taken in, the demon paused for a moment to stare at the moth beside him. A long, long stare.
Whatever ounce of respect they had for him, well... it was certainly gone. A weirdo paired with a weirdo, no wonder they worked so well together.
You are fucking strange.
That was that. They had no idea. Would the curse even accept their answer? Gesturing with their arms lazily, they sighed.
Their eyes watched as the curse seemed to accept the answer, the runes turning green. Shrugging, Xinalith threw their shot back, pleased to taste cherry. Finally, a decent drink.
Looking over at darling ol' Mr. Fluffikins, Xinalith leaned in to whisper their question.
Chi returned! No Death hadn't noticed they were gone yet, don't be a snitch. They wanted to enjoy the party too! And look it was a game with some of their friends and the one that gave them drinks! Hi moth that looks like them. Silly moth was by his other friend Jerrikon! Hi Jerrikon. Oh and Xinalith was taking their dust, that was fine Chi liked sharing. Just not their juice.
Great day!
Listening to Xinalith they let out a small bre. There wasn't even a debate in their mind as they tackled Xinalith in a hug. A slew of brees leaving the moth.
Oh look there were subtitles above their head! Who was doing that now? Who cares.
[Xinalith! Mr. NoFluffikins! You!]
Back in your seat Chi.
Soon enough the souls echoed the question back.
"Who is your favourite concept?"
Some might think it was Life or Death but nope. Their mirror was their favourite concept to be around.
Looking over at who they got to ask a question to though, big eyes stared. A long, long stare.
Oh Chi didn't like this being and wanted to give them the bonk. Yeah Chi knew Asmodeus from the neutral realm but Chi didn't like them. They were fine with most of the Sins, they were just doing their jobs! This one though? Oh they were so bonkable.
Shaking their little head they started to bree, the translation going into Asmodeus' mind.
Oh, how precious. The cute little moth adored Xinalith. It was rare for the sins to see the ruler not only have a fluffy creature thrown at them in a hug, but to actually see them reciprocate with a fond chuckle. Seemed like even Xinalith wasn't susceptible to the Chi effect.
Which is just... really, a natural bonding between the mirrored concepts.
Listening to the question, Asmodeus rolled their eyes. Another dumb question. (Admin note: it was actually a very good question.)
Yet, they were stumped on it. So many years, so many things done, and yet... little came to mind.
With a sigh, Asmodeus shrugged their shoulders.
Perhaps saving Mammon's ass several times. That's all I can think of.
Watching the runes turn green, Asmodeus took their shot, pulled a face, then proceeded to look towards... ah. Xinalith's little demon. This should be fun.
If there was a camera here, Kaztor would be staring into it. Of all the people he could be sat in between, it had to be the Sin of Lust and the Concept of Love. Kill him. Someone kill him. He'll say some awful shit about Xinalith, just please someone kill him. He did not want to be here anymore, looking like fucking Pikachu whilst crazed lovehead and probably-has-two-vibrators-up-their-ass man were on either side of him.
Gods.
Oh, ha, then came the question. Who is surprised.
A long, long groan left him as he sighed, shaking his head.
Leviathan, I guess.
The souls repeated the question asked, which actually sent a shiver down the demon's spine out of fear. You know, in case the sin actually heard.
And oh boy, it was now time for Rex'xa. So, giving them an awkward smile, he leaned over and whispered his question.
@the-concepts
Q: Which of the other sins, obviously leaving Xinalith out, would you happily let fuck you?
Rex'xa had been making a few little comments like "ooh spicy" "didn't think you were like that" and so on. They even pointed at Chi betrayed and said "They don't make your juice right!"...Xinalith did. It was in a box. With a straw. Rex'xa was just feeling dramatic.
Rex'xa was confused by Kaztor's answer because shouldn't to be Asmodeus? Sin of lust, best at lust and all that? Heck even they were giggling at some of the things the sin said to them and they didn't even have a lustful bone in their body. Sometimes people questioned if they had any bones.
Anyways.
The question made him absolutely light up.
Oh so much!! I love the way they sneeze and their face gets all scrunchy. I love that they drink beans in the morning, that's so silly! Oh and I love their gathering to watch people kick balls around. I've seen gods less worshipped. Them wearing shoes. I also love that they do funny things to their hair, like you! I can't forget-
This went on for far, far too long.
When they seemed to finally be done, aka run out of breath, the souls cut them off to repeat the question.
"Is there anything you find fun about mortals? Like, some traditions they have or how they act?"
Ask any other concept and they would have struggled, Rex'xa saw mortals like a silly little ant farm.
You know, you hear stories. Moon or Xinalith mentioning Rex'xa being a little eccentric. You really don't get the whole picture until you talk to them. Or are near them for longer than a few minutes.
Such a strange little thing...that was actually far older than him. Maybe Pax should get their skincare routine.
Anyways the question made his brows furrow. He knew the answer but still remained silent for a moment as if to mourn speaking it into existence.
Of course I would.
It came out a bit like venom from his through.
Looking to the souls a green hue was shown, a shot to wash down the taste of the words. It was equally as terrible.
It also seemed the circle had gone around once more, for better or for worse.
The seating plan had been rearranged once more, though it seemed that for some reason, Io and Oberon were out this time around. What the fuck did Asmodeus do when trying to perform this curse?
Looking at where they were, they saw Kl'yth already giving them a mischievous grin... so they smacked her in the face.
Only to be punched again in the side. They had seven bruises now.
But also next to them, was little ol' Lotus again. Oh, how sweet. Smirking, they leaned in to whisper their question to her.
Now Nymphe sat between Xinalith and someone she doesn't recall meeting before. She gave them a smile.
Hi!
She tilted her head as she thought of a eay to answer. It's not like she hadn't thought about it before, especially when she was younger.
It being destroyed, probably. Oh, or me dying. That's actually more likely to happen, and then I would get replaced.
Oh okay. That's good to know, Lotus.
She waited for the souls to speak, letting out a small exhale as they remained silent and taking a shot of something that was far more pleasant than whatever she'd drunk last time. Thank goodness.
Now, what was she meant to ask someone she didnt know? Hmโฆ
She wrote her question down and handed it to them.
Rex'xa was giggling and clapping along to the unknown question. Oh their mirror would love this question and they loved love! Where was Nin anyways she was meant to be having fun too.
Anyways, question!
Northern Saw-Whet Owl.
Oh they just had that locked and loaded didn't they? But then the souls echoed the question back.
"What's your favourite animal?"
Look Nin loved animals, Rex'xa loved Nin, they heard so much about animals and therefore loved them too. They loved love!! Admin here, do not let Rex'xa love you.
It was now their turn to ask! Oh look Moon! They loved Moon!
Much to her dismay they were learning in to whisper a question.
Well call her curious as to what Lotus was speaking on. Rex'xa not so much. She tuned that crazy fuck out most of the time. Sure she liked insanity, but not their flavour of it.
Even as they leaned in to whisper they got a punch to the throat.
The question though? Oh that made her almost growl at the small thing.
Mine of course, I was in it. I'm sure they would feel theirs was superior too.
Seeing that the rune glowed green she took her shot and moved on to...Jerrikon...really? But oh how she smirked as a question graced her mind. Not being Rex'xa she simply spoke to the other concepts mind.
Well, this could be... better... oh, hey, Pax! He grinned as he waved a hello to him, before letting out an 'oh' when the paper was tossed to him. Kaztor picked it up and read it over, grimacing at the mere idea of it.
I don't think they would... at least, I hope not.
He really hoped not.
Shaking his head though, the demon let out a long 'uhh' before frowning. He didn't like this question at all. Especially involving who was asked.
After a long time thinking on it, all Kaztor could do was sigh.
I would transform into my demon form and drown myself out. Let it take over for me. I wouldn't have to witness it then.
Watching the runes light up in green, Kaztor reached over to take a shot. Oh, delicious! Where could he get more of that?
...Ah, and it was drugged too. Gods damn it. That pang went straight to his head, bring out a low 'ughhh'.
Looking over at Pax, now with a bit of a sway in his movements, the demon leaned in and gestured for the donari to come closer, just to whisper a question into his ear.
This game was really something so far. So many unknown questions and he was nosey as hell. Therefore he hated this. Still he was trying to have a fun time, waving to Xinalith with a kissy face.
Oh Kaztor right. Leaning in to hear the question he hummed with a bit of a dopey smile.
A christmas market. There was hot drinks and ice skating and white the activities weren't exactly our thing or going perfect it was perfect because of them.
Even with the question remaining hidden, people could probably guess.
Taking a shot, it was...unholy hells it was bad. Bitter as all hells and drugged. A small hiss as he shook his head before moving to Luxian to ask his question.

As always, the sins wanted more chaos. Sure, there was outside things happening, but in the castle? Aside from Satan almost losing his temper with someone, it was pretty tame. Damn Pax.
So, to spice things up, Asmodeus gathered everyone around andโyoinking one of Xinalith's scrolls to look into how to place a strong enough curseโeveryone was trapped within a ritual circle where they could only speak the truth! Drinks, of course, supplied... drugged too... and okay, maybe Asmodeus was a bit high and made it so after everyone asked the first time around, people would suddenly switch.
Or maybe it was Xinalith's handwriting.
First up, would be Io, and... oh dear, Asmodeus was already giving the flame-haired man the eyes as they leaned in to hear his question.
( @infernussins )
At last! At long last Io had found the person he'd been looking for! Ever since Xinalith *insisted* he talk to the sin, it had been all he wanted to do.
He gave a little excited wave to Oberon and mouthed a "look who it is!"
Needless to say, the moth was less than enthusiastic.
Moving on! He leaned in to ask his first question. One he would have asked anyway regardless of the drinking game and would be making note of the answer in his notebook. Though, in all honesty, he may have partaken in one too many substances. His judgment a little on the foggy side.
Listening to him speak, a little 'ooh' falling... though, not at the question, it was more so at him whispering in their ear, they soon pouted at just how...
...utterly fucking boring this was already starting out to be. I mean, really. They wanted something bigger, juicier, dirtier, not this!
Mammon.
Instead of using coins, the ritual circle burned in the centre in a dark green flame. That would be the sign that the question was soon to be revealed, which was followed swiftly by a chorus of voices repeating the question that Io had whispered.
Souls. Yes, souls were weaved into this. This is the infernal realm, what did you expect?
Moving on, Asmodeus hummed at the woman beside them before leaning in. Even gently tucking her hair behind her ear... sorry, Lotus. They're a creep.
Nymphe felt a shiver crawl down her spine as Asmodeus leaned in, scooting ever so slightly in the opposite direction.ย
Oh, now she felt heat creeping up to her face as she actually processed what they said โ did she really have to answer that?
Somno
Oh, okay, apparently she did. Stupid, stupid truth curse.ย
I don't like this game.
Yet she was still playing. Even though the whole thing with the souls was kind of creepy. At least her question wasn't revealed. Silver linings.ย
She counted her blessings as she took a shot of- oh, ew!
She gagged. Ugh, that thing was disgusting... At least it didn't seem to have any side effects (other than tasting like garbage). Once again, silver linings.
Knowing that Moon didn't like it when other people got close (honestly, after the way Asmodeus was acting, she could understand why), Nymphe opted for writing her own question down on a paper and handing it to her.ย
No, not because of anything she did for once. But simply down to the amount of alcohol and drugs she consumed. She was seeing fuck knows what right now, and... maybe something was foaming in her mouth...
Ah, no. That was drool. She best wipe that off.
Listening to what Kalaren was whispering to her, she stared at all of the people here, a long 'hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm' sounding from her. Eyes squinting, leaning forward a little bit, oh she lost her balance and was sitting upright again.
Her eyes moved between the concepts, before landing on the sins, before going back to the donari... hmm. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm indeed.
You, Kalaren. Easy as angel shit.
The circle burned as the question was revealed, but she didn't really think twice about it. Moving on, was foxy man. Furry man. Something man.
So, she yanked him closer, actually flicked his ear to make sure he listened to her, and whispered her question.
A quiet 'oh!' left him when he was suddenly pulled in... maybe his face also contorted a little in pain, because wow, she was strong. Too strong. Was his uniform stretched? He swore he heard-
Oh, ow, my ear-
Well, now he was listening to her question, blinking a few times before looking over at her with a confused look.
Um... no?
As usual, the ritual sparked to life, glowed green and repeated the question. Which was... yep, it was something Kl'yth would ask.
Flickering his gaze onto the concept, he blinked a couple of times before humming contemplatively, quickly asking for some paper to write with from Kl'yth. She's a demon, right? So she can...
...A rock. And a white crayon. He supposed that would do...
Writing his question, for he wasn't too sure if the concept would want him so close, he handed it over to Rex'xa.
Rex'xa had been gently rocking and playing the drum on their thighs while waiting. They had no real idea what was going on but was happy to be hear.
Actually out of all the concepts Rex'xa was the most open to touch, a huggy being at times. Reading the question he thought for a bit. really this was a hard question, he was one of the longest working of the current concepts so it had been a long, long time since he knew mortal desire.
Ice cream. Food in general. Eating and enjoying the food.
Oh what now? Oh the souls were speaking.
"Is there anything from your time with mortality that you'd want to enjoy again?"
Freaky.
With a bordering psychotic giggle they looked to Xinalith, oh they knew them! And they had a burning question. The ground before them began to alter so the question was written in stone before vanishing.
So you wouldn't eat a demon?
Apparently he was asking Luxian that. Was that allowed? Who knew.
Xinalith was also rather high. And they were also very focused on the fact that clearly, Asmodeus had been sneaking around in their belongings again. This was their work, and it had also been butchered. How does one fuck up following basic instructions so much? And they call themselves a sin...
They weren't paying too much attention until Rex'xa's question came into view, scarlets running over it before the demon scoffed.
Useless. I would have more fun killing him.
The runes burned for a few moments before scorching red, signifying that the question wasn't to be shared. They couldn't care if they did have to share it, but alas, the game was to move on.
Ah. Right. Shot.
Downing one, they had to hold back a gag before shaking their head. That was terrible. Sure, not as bad as some of the shots them and Pax had been having, but still terrible.
Next to them was Oberon, so leaning over with a little smirk, they whispered their question to him.
Oberon was stone cold sober. And for once, he wasn't entirely sure it was a good thing. He didn't love the way Asmodeus was eyeing Io and honestly felt kind of relieved when they called him boring.
That's right.
Leave his boring book nerd boyfriend alone.
Though at the moment he had bigger fish to fry. Namely? The birthday demon. Wonderful. Who was making these seating arrangements anyway? He had a bone to pick with them.
When the question came, he just looked to Io, an apology already etched on his face.
{{ Truthfully. And I'd probably but him a few new fish. }}
As the question was revealed, he simply stared down at his boots. What he wouldn't see is Io giving him a sympathetic look. Of course, Io didn't know the moth had come very close to turning that damn goose loose during that dreadful year he was gone.
Now it was his turn to ask a question. A rather formidable looking concept on his other side. Instead of leaning in to whisper he merely put up one of his sound barriers before asking his question.
@the-concepts
Question: You just killed Olga. How would you break the news to Io?
This was one of those moments that Jerrikon was, well Jerrikon. He hadn't even noticed Oberon there. The moth gave up so little magic Frank made more of a impression.
The question though? Oh he liked that. Little nobody was trying to stir shit up.
His answer was imediate.
Life, Death, Space, Time, Me, Moon, Xinalith, Rex'xa then Nin.
When the rune turned red he actually booed. He wanted them to know.
Being that drinking had no effect a curse took hold making his head feel loopy. Fuck it had been a long time since he felt like this. For a reason he had a job to do and couldn't be high or drunk all the time.
Looking over...ah Pax. A devilish grin on his face as he spoke in the man's mind.
Once again, Kaztor was pretty lucky with his seating arrangement. Next to Pax and also Io, what could go wrong?
Listening to the donari's question, he jutted his lips out in thought. Now, it wasn't like it was difficult or anything, it was a pretty straightforward question for most. But for Kaztor, someone who didn't really think of this sort of thing? Oh, it was hard.
He was sitting there, umming and ahhing at it, lips opening up before he shook his head from being so unsure. He had... no idea! So, a little while longer, and finally he thought of something.
I guess... someone with light hair? Like, blonde or pastel or something? And... maybe someone funny? Funny with light hair? I guess? Smart too? Smart, funny, light hair.
Apparently, the answer was accepted, so the runes burned green and the question was revealed.
Next up, Io! With a big grin, he leaned in and whispered his question to the man.
Oberon's question hadn't bothered him in the slightest, apart from the fact it had clearly made Obie uncomfortable. But he knew the moth would never kill his beloved gift from Xinalith. nope, still not a gift. And he was far too high to even remember the answer.
He gave Kaztor an excited look, not quite unlike a rambunctious puppy, as he leaned in to hear the question.
Ah! How amusing. I'd say... a tandem bicycle!
With the runes glowing red, Io happily took a shot and woof! That was strong. Excellent!
Oh. But a little pout formed as he was suddenly pulled away from the sin he'd been so excited to meet. Though it wouldn't last long as he was now arranged next to the fine chap who'd been sitting next to Obie!
Again Jerrikon was simply "who the fuck was this?". As if he knew many people. He knew the other concepts and Pax. Seriously he had never even met Kalaren before and was side eyeing him trying to figure out if that was the twin or not.
The question? He was looking at the fire haired fuck like he lost his mind. Who invited this weirdo? Again not exactly a great question for a concept that had no mortality.
Looking around he eventually shrugged.
Asmodeus?
It was the most logical.
When the thing turned red he actually felt like that was the worst outcome. Who knew what the fox fucking sin would think.
Speaking of Foxes he looked beside him. Police fox. Right. Anyways.
The question was spoken in their head before that wave of intoxication hit Jerrikon again. Well fucky doodle dandy his brain.
When everyone was suddenly switched, Luxian had to adjust his sight to the sudden teleportation. Not exactly great when you're intoxicated, that's for sure. Though, looking at where he was sitting? Oh dear.
His ears shot up when the question was spoken in Luxian's mind, really adding onto the intoxicated state he was in. That was really... uh. Fuzzy?
Though, they were quick to droop down as chestnuts looked over to the concept, lips parted in what could only be horror. Oh, goodness, such a question made him so uncomfortable, he ended up looking away from him.
Remember, this was Luxian here. Luxian, a bubbly, friendly, drama-free, happy fox. Luxian, who was always optimistic, tried his best not to see the bad in people, and most definitely didn't...
...Um... Be glad that someone was... um... dead.
The last would was spoken very, very softly, followed shortly by the squeezing of his eyes. He hated this. He hated this game, he decided. Oh, he was a terrible person, and-
He didn't see the colour that the ritual burned, only heard the repeating of the question that made his own head fall into his hands. This was a wonderful, wonderful awakening to perhaps never attend a demonic party like this again.
Sighing, and avoiding eye contact for he was ashamed, he made do with some piece of paper laying nearby and wrote out a question for Moon, simply handing it over to her.
@moon-vaisyra
Q: What is the most fucked up thought you've ever had?
Oh well suddenly how Luxian got more interesting. Sure he thought he was terrible but look at the people he was around, that was nothing. Actually looking around had anyone here aside from him not killed someone? He was in good company
Looking at the question there was almost a distance to her gaze and a soft hum.
A magic desolate one. Mostly desert. A weird green sunset and far too hot.
Looking to the rune it burned green, souls speaking the question back.
"Do you have a favourite realm, not including your own?"
Simple enough, she had no need to elaborate on it.
Looking to Xinalith she knew them and Pax had been sneaking off all day and wasn't about to go near them. Her voice spoke a question in their head.
Seeing exactly where they were moved to next? Xinalith could only glare at Asmodeus. Look, they were right between them and Pax. Cockblocking. Literally. Probably had a hard on, too. Or a vibrator shoved up their ass that they were now racking up, because this whore was waayyy too obsessed with wanting to have a threesome with both them and Pax.
Freak.
Hearing the question in their head, this was actually a tough one. No, not because that they cared about the answer. It was actually the answer itself that was hard. Bringing their hands up and conjoined, the demon glanced around at the group for a while. To them, two people came into mind and were honestly quite tied, but...
Asmodeus.
Of course the sin perked up at that.
Because they are by far the most disrespectful, repulsive, irritating, foul-mouthed, skin-crawling, absolutely fucking despicable being here. If I had it my way, I would skin them alive and force feed them their own flesh, whilst doused in blessed magic to make them suffer for as long as their last moments could possibly allow them to.
And then, a pause.
But alas, I need them.
The runes burned green, revealing the question. Yeah, Xinalith didn't care. And apparently, that just made Asmodeus fan themselves.
Ridiculous. Utterly ridiculous.
Still, Xinalith proceeded to ask Asmodeus their question, leaning in... sort of. Their tails were hooked around the top of Asmodeus's shirt, meaning that they could control just how close they got.
@infernussins
Q: Who is your least favourite here and be specific why. No saying you don't know them, it has to be a reason you don't like them
Oh, this was just great. No, really, it was. If they could bust a nut right here, they would. They just might. Many folks know here just how bad they've wanted to fuck Xinalith, as well as just how much they've wanted to fuck Pax. Both at the same time. And now here they were. So close... ah. Maybe, juuuust maybe, they might be able to...
Oh, you flatter me! I know you love me.
No. They didn't. They just got done saying how Asmodeus was their least favourite. Delusional, they were. Simply delusional.
Listening to the question, Asmodeus's face dropped when they heard it, a little growl falling from them as they glared at Xinalith.
Thinking on their answer for a moment, they sighed before twirling a strand of hair around their finger.
I suppose... let him die. I can't live without it.
The circle burned red, which made the sin of lust shoot a look at Xinalith.
If you tell him, I'll find a way to kill you.
Only being met with an innocent grin, Asmodeus fluttered his eyes at Pax before leaning in, whispering into his ear.
Pax would ask if this was hell but look at where they were, it was. They were in the hells. The game itself was not that bad but being near Asmodeus, well that was.
Seriously the crossing of boundaries with him and Xinalith was constant and concerning. Obsessive really. Even if demon's didn't dream it wouldn't happen in their wildest dreams.
Then they leaned in. A grimace as he pulled back a bit before hearing the question. Don't get him wrong, it wasn't because Asmodeus was ugly at all it was that Pax hated dirty things and they didn't get filthier than the sin of Lust. Seriously if they could get an std they would have them all.
His eyes rolled at the question. Of course. Why would he expect anything else.
Neither, I would take charge of both.
That was somehow the best of the terrible options given.
Then a flash fire took him. And another. He needed to get clean from the mere idea. A hot bath was needed. maybe a trip into the lava.
Looking over to Oberon, he needed a break. Writing out the question he handed it over.
{{ Truthfully. And I'd probably but him a few new fish. }}
@the-concepts
Who was to say where the two ran off to. Sure Xinalith had some of Pax's makeup on their face and his was smeared. Some feathers ruffled. But 15 minutes on the dot they were back at the party.
So more games or are you feeling like being social? I can go either way right now.
Pax was on cloud nine, absolutely glowing.
Oh, Xinalith was perfectly happy as well. Drunk on... I can't say here. But you get it.
With a dopey hum, they looked over at Pax before looking back at the party, blinking a few times before an 'ah' left them.
Yes. Social. I should probably be social.
Bliink.
Do I have to leave you right now though? I don't want to.
Beaming more with the kiss, their eyes lit up at the mention of a drinking game.
Ooh, yes. Shots. Let's do shots! That sounds like fun.
AKA, they want to get more drunk.
Uh. I don't know where this game is happening. Kitchen? Here? Elsewhere? You take me.
No, really. They had no idea. This was all a surprise and they were busy speaking to others, throwing a rock at a demon and blowing their boyfriends dick, of course they wouldn't.
Chuckling Pax was picking Xinalith up. Birthday demons shouldn't have to walk.
Right this way my liege.
Apparently he was also leaning into this whole jester thing. A method actor or something like that. He even did a little skip where his hat jingled.
Walking into one of the other rooms, it was clearly Mammon made and organized. A gambling room, roulette tables, russian roulette, drinking games, drugs. It was like a demonic cassino in here. One of the games in particular called to him. The goal was simple, there were 10 shots, everyone grabbed one. There were 3 good ones, 3 bad ones, and 4 non alcoholic but horrible ones. The goal was you couldn't react and had to guess who had what shot. If you were called out, you had to do another bad shot.
An 'oooh' left them as they were suddenly swept off their feet, grinning as their arms wrapped around his neck and they were suddenly peppering his face with kisses.
It was right there. It needed to be kissed.
Looking over at the game mentioned, they already knew they would be terrible at it. Xinalith was not good at hiding how they felt about particular tastes. You saw what they were like when they tasted something sour.
Still, it did mean they'd get drunk, so...
Alright, we can do that one. Do we need multiple people for this, or can we just do it ourselves?
Ooh, why don't we pour them into our own mouths and then kiss each other?
For fucks sake Xinalith, can you keep it in your pants?
Each kiss shot dopamine into his head. He could survive off of them alone and he happily would.
Hearing Xinalith's suggestion, well, he was already smirking. Mind running through senari-
Why did we leave the room again? I have a drinking game we could play.
They were as bad as eachother. But no, Pax had to focus. This party was for them, to celebrate them, he couldn't hog them all night. He did have them all to himself almost every other day of the year. Not to mention the moment they left this party.
Tell you what, we can play together, and if you get a bad one I kiss you better, if you get a good one I kiss you to taste it, deal?
So basically a kiss after every shot. So much for acting right Paxrys. Can't even have a damn moment.
Honestly, they would've been perfectly happy just spending a whole day with Pax. Now, that's not to say that what was planned for them wasn't appreciated, they really did love having everyone's attention on them. Buuut... they also loved Pax, so.
Humming in thought, as much as that would be wonderful, Xinalith soon sighed and shook their head.
No, let's play the game properly. We can kiss all we like after.
A hand moved over his heart, a fake pained expression. A slight jump in the rhythm on the pendant.
Oh my beloved I'm wounded. The love of my life doesn't want to kiss me. I am a kissless jester. Lips so lonely. My makeup might smudge from my sorrow filled tears.
Dramatic ass loser.
Soon enough he was bowing equally as dramatically.
As you wish though, let's play.
With that a server came over with the shots and placed them out. The spinning table gently rotating to mix them up more.
Pax took a teal coloured one and held it up.
Cheers.
And down it went.
See the problem with this game is that even though Pax's face was calm his soul and heart could be felt. Both of which seemed to clench for a moment before speeding up in pace.
Even Pax's dramatics right now made little sense to them, especially as they just got done sucking his dick. And peppered his face with kisses. And first suggested the whole swapping drinks thing with their mouths.
Still, they playfully rolled their eyes and pulled Pax down to steal a kiss from him, peppering a few more on his lips before pulling back.
There. Still so wounded?
Xinalith teased, booping his nose before chuckling at his bow.
As for the demon, they would pick out a dark red liquid, letting the shotglass meet with Pax's before downing it also.
Luckily for them, they found it relatively easy to not show their expression for this. As for their soul? It only seemed to speed up, though nothing else occurred.
Would you look at that Pax was already melting with a dopey smile. Sure they just got done with some foreplay but Pax was never one to be satisfied quickly. Or even, greedy bastard.
All better.
Spoken in a sing song way. It was pathetic how fast he could melt.
Watching their expression, swirling hues ran over them.
Let's guess now. I think you got a bad drink.
Eyes narrowing slightly as if he was daring them to tell him he was wrong.
Now, was Pax correct? Actually, no. They got a good drink. But seeing the look in his eyes? Why, yes, Xinalith hesitated a little to tell him the truth.
They could down another shot now, hope it's a bad one, and say he was right?
Alas, that wasn't how the game worked, so with a pouty look, they shook their head.
I'm sorry darling, but no. I got a good drink. Oh, should I be telling you? Ah, too late.
Now, as for you... I think you were the one who got a bad drink.
If it counts for anything Pax would rather be wrong than lied to. Even if it was a nothing white lie.
A fake pout made its way onto his lips before he softly chuckled.
Well I'm happy for you.
As for me...
Pause for suspense.
I also got a good one. Or I assume it was meant to be, it was sweeter than I prefer. You probably would have liked it.
So, we keep going then.
Picking up another one he downed it. This time there was no reaction aside from a slight fluttering in the gold in his eyes. All of this felt like a test of how well they knew one another, and yet it also meant nothing and was just silly.
Watching Pax as he was about to reveal his drink, a soft 'ooh' left them as they also chuckled.
Look at us with good drinks. Yay us.
Watching as the table spun around with their shots, they went for a yellow drink this time. Again, they observed Pax's reaction for a moment, thinking a little on what he could've gotten, before they downed theirs.
Xinalith placed the empty glass down.
...So, about them being bad at hiding thei-.
Yeah. They were gagging. Choking, even. Tongue hanging out as they started biting it as a way to distract them from the foul, wretched taste that dared touch their tongue.
What, in all things unholy and as my own witness, the fuck was that?!
See. Terrible at the game.
Deep throating a fucking blessed dagger whilst dipped in orc piss would taste better than that foul thing, is someone trying to poison me? Someone's trying to kill me. What was it? Eugh, get that shit away from me.
Wanna know what it was?
Mountain Dew.
It was Mountain Dew.
With a final 'bleugh' and a shake of their head, they sighed and looked to Pax.
It was so hard for him not to softly laugh at their theatrics. Pax would have no way of knowing what they just drank but he could only assume it was as terrible as they said.
Leaning down he hooked their chin with his thumb to pull them in for a kiss. Maybe call it cheating because he could taste the shot, but he was trying to help his pretty wife with their bad shot.
Better?
Pulling away he softly chuckled again.
Actually I got a bad one. Tasted like a tire. But compared to what you had I think it was pretty good.
I'm guessing you had a bad one? If not brava on the dramatics.
Xinalith pouted at first when they heard Pax's laughter.
This is no laughing mat-.
But were soon cut off when they were pulled in for a kiss, immediately shutting them up. Quite literally, yes, but also stopped them from complaining more. Really, how could they complain when the love of their existence was giving them a kiss, clearly to help them?
Once he pulled away, Xinalith was blinking a few times before a dopey smile crawled across their face.
Much.
Dreadful, darling. Truly dreadful. It was horrible. I don't believe it was alcoholic. It was... fizzy.
They really did hate fizzy drinks. They were even shuddering at the reminder of it.
Still, the game must go on, this time opting for a clear liquid. Downing it, there would be barely any reaction once more. Perhaps a slight widening of the eyes at most.
Well the pair of them were very easy at the very least. One kiss or compliment and they were putty in the others hand.
The mention of a fizzy drink made Pax recall when they tried sprite for the first time in their life. Actually the reaction was quite close to what was just had. Did they just drink sprite again?
Ah well no need to dwell.
Non alcoholic and disgusting. Mammon is truly diabolical.
Grabbing something that was dark green in colour he shot it back. It would be good to remember that this man drank something that made paint varnish look weak and likes it. Perhaps that's why this reaction was shocking.
Pax hissed. A full on inhaling his as his one eye twitched. He went to speak, to swear, to say anything but what came out was just a guttural growl.
Remember how things were drugged? Well apparently not all the drugs were goofy pills. This one in particular seemed to temporarily take away Pax's ability to use his words. Just animalistic hissing and snarls.
Were they actually? No, they need the support of the sins. But they were tempted to shove shit down that demons throat and make him gag and choke. Maybe some actual poison.
Now, Pax may be having a bad time with the drink, but Xinalith was a simple demon. They liked it when Pax sounded a little animalistic. The growling, snarling, you name it, they soaked it up like a sponge. So, there they were, ears twitching away, before practically looking lovesick as their tails slowly raised up and started to sway from side to side.
Ohh. Hello.
Here we goโฆ
Keep talking dirty to me.
He was not, Xinalith. He was obviously having a bad time. Can you snap out of it? What is with you today?
Oh. Bad drink. You got a bad drink. But, ah, do keep growling.
Pax at the very least could see the fun in this game, he just was no longer having fun with it. Mainly because he sounded like an angry bear and Xinalith was apparently into it. Gods almighty please tell him he doesn't sound like this during sex normally.
Look even if Xinalith liked it he wanted sexy feral not hibernating bear.
One long blink to Xinalith before another growl came out. Well it seemed like they got his wish. He did nod though, onto more shots. He needed to be drunk enough to forget this and ooh look a little buzz!
Pointing to Xinalith he gave a thumbs up for guessing good drink.
Downing another a full on roar left him. Forget pretending that one tasted like straight acid. At the very least Xinalith was enjoying how he sounded. Brightside people.
Look at how their tails gently swayed. No, really. It was like a little seductive dance, how slow they were whilst Xinalith just chuckled and eyed the man.
They liked feral. It was known that Xinalith was a bit of a freak. So, yes, they liked the growling.
Hm? Oh, yes, it was a good drink. But I know something else I could be drinking.
Reaching for another shot mindlessly, they hummed.
Up for quickie round 2?
Then they took the shot, downing it all before immediately spitting it back out again to the side.
Okay, I'm convinced that one was actually piss.
Thankfully, no it was not. That one was fanta. Specifically imported from America. And drugged. Really drugged. Actually, in the next few moments, Xinalith would notice that their horns had... flopped down?
Oh. Now I have limp horn. This is supposed to be a birthday special?
Well this was great, he could only make animal sounds. Wonder if he could be a dolphin? Focus. Seeing their tails wag and their ask...well his mind was running. A low growl leaving as he walked over and kissed their neck.
Another grumble that would translate to "I bet I could get them up". No that wasn't how that worked at all, but let a Pax Bear be a Pax Bear.
Just as suddenly as last time they were being picked up and taken through a portal. News of the sound of animal attacks would probably be talked about for a few days. Don't worry his voice will come back soon, but might as well make the best of the time they had!
They seriously had a problem. Cage them both and call it a day.
Who was to say where the two ran off to. Sure Xinalith had some of Pax's makeup on their face and his was smeared. Some feathers ruffled. But 15 minutes on the dot they were back at the party.
