Once more, the people switched, chestnuts looking around and... awh. Still no Kal. How disappointing. But hey, he was sitting next to Chi! And ohh... they really were soooo cute! Maybe he was getting a little jealous that Oberon got to spend time with them...
Well, seeing as he was the first one to ask, he leaned over and proceeded to ask Rex'xa the first question of the round.
Well lucky or not for Luxian Chi was very interested in his tail. So fluffy.
Rex'xa was...well actually still listing things they liked about mortals and they was onto earlobes. Oh the fox man didn't have earlobes. Well he liked fluffy ears too! And questions.
This, once again, made his eyes light up. A little clap as he beamed.
Oooh I do love it! There is nothing better! Why would I want anything else? It's so fun like when-
Ignore them.
Ooh and the souls were speaking again, freaky!
"Do you love what you do as a concept, or do you wish you could have some freedom?"
Now it was his turn to ask red hair! Silly hair. He loved silly hair!
...Maybe he was learning that it was probably easier to just try and ignore Rex'xa. Or appreciate his more 'not-so-lovesick' side. Such as when he's listening things he likes about mortals for gods knows how long, or going on about his conceptual duties.
Way better than his more unhinged stuff.
Listening to the question, he hummed in thought for a while before finally answering.
I think... I would harm for them if it meant I could save them, but I don't think I could kill for them. It's not something I'm really... into. Or want to do.
Seeing the green glow, it meant he had to take a shot. Reaching for one, he threw it back and... hang on a second... was this just fanta? Why was fanta here?
.......
Oh. Never mind. It's drugged. Of course it was.
Ah, Obes! Finally! With a chuckle, he leaned in, grinning as he asked his question.
And the game was still going. At least he was next to Kaztor now. Of course that could be good or bad, depending.
Leaning in, he nodded. Yeah. It was a fair question. Still, he sighed.
{{ He bought chapstick not knowing it had that... stuff in it. The spicy... plumper stuff.}}
{{ Yeah. That turned into an issue for both of us, actually.}}
Taking a shot as he saw the green glow... It was probably for the best, honestly.
Looking to Xinalith he whispered a few times to himself, testing that his words wouldn't betray him this time before asking his question.
Look at that. At long last, Xinalith was finally next to Pax again. It was truly incredible just what the effect he had on them was, for they were practically glowing. Face lighting up, happily content, and of course, hand forcing its way into his. Calm, collected demon once more. Albeit, absolutely fucked off their face.
What a good day.
Speaking of their day, looks like Mothy was asking them something again. At first, they did narrow their eyes as an almost pre-warning to not ask anything fucking weird again, but hearing it this time... well. Seemed he learned his lesson.
Or Jerrikon's effect wore off, but they didn't know that.
Perhaps sneaking off with Pax all day-
Oops.
-and seeing Mammon lose a bet to Jerrikon. Either one of those. Though really, I enjoyed a lot of it.
Well, with that answer, it might already be obvious what was asked of them, even when the runes glowed green. Downing their shot, their face twisted with disgust, before it was quickly replaced with a dopey smile when looking at their beloved.
Hello, you.
They teased, obviously making sure to give his cheek a quick kiss before whispering their question to him.
The same could be said for Pax. More relaxed, a soft smile, warm eyes. The gold in his skin seemed to shimmer more when they were around. It was hard not to feel more alive with them.
Hearing their answer, he could guess about the question, a playful smirk forming. He was not sorry for a moment.
When they leaned in to ask the question he couldn't help but steal a kiss before they went back to their place. The question itself making him smile warmly.
No. I love that moment so much. Sure I sometimes think about how it would have been if you hadn't just been hurt or it happened sooner but I think that everything happened so that the moment could be perfect. It's one of my favourite chapters of us.
I love it, and I love you.
In that moment red glowed and the question repeated.
"When it comes to the first time we confessed, do you ever wish things were done differently?"
This was the same man that sang Xinalith's praises to billions upon billions if not trillions of people. Of course he had no problem being sweet here.
Even Rex'xa could be seen giggling and clapping.
Looking to the other being beside him, hello again, he gave a polite smile. Being near Xinalith again and thinking on that question put him in a good mood. He could throw Asmodeus a bone. Not like that.
Writing on a piece of paper he handed it over.
Damn, not between them both but they could deal with being from the side. Though, unable to help themselves, Asmodeus did roll their eyes hearing the loveydovey shit. You have to remember that these were sins, and unlike Xinalith, they simply did not care. Especially Asmodeus, who did not care for love but only lust.
Still, even they had to admit that it was usually better if Xinalith was calm rather than not.
Humming as they took the piece of paper, they read the question before grinning. Finally!
Ooh... ooh, where do I begin...
If anyone here could give Pax a run for his money as to how many people they've slept with, it would probably be Asmodeus. The whole 'riddled with STDs' claim could be true were it not for their regeneration, and lack of ability to even get ailments so easily.
There's simply too many to really go through, but if I had to pick... it was probably one with a tall, handsome draconian. Ooh, he was one who could keep up with my stamina, and he was ever such a little freak. He had all sorts of kinks that he was more than happy for me to indulge in. Hells, he even dabbled in piss, and I couldn't say no. It's not that often someone wants to do piss play the first time sleeping with me. Draconian piss, truly something. Oh, then we-
And... they kept going. Detailed it out. Before humming.
Such a shame he eventually died. I would've loved to keep him around as my little toy for longer. Ah well.
Well, the runes glowed green, so a shot was taken. Nothing much else to say, and I don't think I want to. Moving on!
Leaning in, Asmodeus whispered a question to Kl'yth.
Eugh. Get the hells away from me.
Kl'yth would mutter when Asmodeus got too close, snarling at them as as she listened to them. She wasn't even surprised.
Yeah, I have. Usually accidental, but... then I just eat 'em after. So, free meal. After dessert? Does that work?
The runes glowed green once more, and Kl'yth took her shot. Hm, tasted like... grass. Why grass? She ain't a dog, she didn't want to throw up after eating it.
Ah. What the heck.
Blinking a few times at Jerrikon, she hummed for a while before whispering her question. This time though? Oh yes, she used her singular brain cell to not pull this guy close.
Actually out of the people here Kl'yth left a good impression on Jerrikon. Cannibalistic savage? Not bad. He still didn't know her name or care to learn it, when he left he wouldn't think of her again, but interesting enough.
Hearing the question he scoffed.
Do I keep my magic? If so let him keep the arms so I can beat him with them.
Then the runes went red to speak the question back.
"Do ya think I could take Satan in a fight if his arms were cut off?"
Was it bad he hoped Satan heard? Sure he told Death he wouldn't start anything but surely he could defend himself right?
Seeing as the lumbering giant wasn't coming he groaned and looked to hot head. His question echoing in his mind.
Io had taken his staring problem elsewhere, eyes glued to the little moth beside him. This, of course, was the little thing that had nearly sent him into a coronary earlier from cuteness overload.
Eyes like saucers, all he could seem to do was watch with delight as the moth started to play with Luxian's tail.
Then he jumped a little as Jerrikon's voice echoed around in his head. What a jarring sensation. Intriguing!
Yes!
He was swaying a little as he turned to answer the question. Every last braincell working hard to formulate something coherent.
I do. Or at least, I choose to.
He felt he was surrounded by proof by some of the very people in this room.
The question reoeated in the voices of the souls. Lucky, that. One more shot may well have done him in.
A mischievous glimpse over to Oberon before leaning over to Chi to ask his question.
Chi had indeed started to try to pet the wagging tail. Look, they were fluffy, it was fluffy, it was destiny. Their other feet just kicking happily. Before they could get a feel though the question came.
Breee bie beeeee briiiiiiiiieee.
[2,237,342.5]
Oh so exact!
This time it would be green, the curse ticking his head. Look curses and Righteousness don't have long term effects unless it was a big Xinalith one. This wasn't that.
Ooh now he got to ask the fox a question! They pointed to his tail.
Breee?
[Hello kind fox being. I notice your tail is very fluffy and looks soft. Would you allow me to touch it, please?]
No that was not their question for the game. That was whispered to him in little bree's.
Before he actually answered the real question given to him, he giggled softly before nodding his head.
Of course you can! Here, have fun with it.
Awh, he even swished his tail towards Chi, letting it lay over his feet so it was easier for him to play with. How nice!
Now, for the actual question? He had to think on it really hard. It was tough, that’s for sure. Lips forming a pout, his brows furrowing, ears occasionally twitching as he fell deeper and deeper in thought.
One would think it was a deep, philosophical question. But… no. Not at all.
Well… the first taste of coffee when you’re still sleepy and it makes you feel all warm and fuzzy; self-care evenings with bubble baths, face masks, oils, you name it; being able to take long walks through nature when it’s snowy.
Making sure he agreed on those choices, the runes glowed green, meaning he had to take his shot. So, doing just that, he frowned at the taste. That was awful, and he could still feel it burning his throat. Bleugh.
Do you think it would be weird if you were a normal person and not a fox man? Like life without a tail, does that feel weird to you? Do you think more beings should have tails?
Yes, I would find it very odd. I'm far too used to having a tail; not having it will be strange. It's also much easier for me to express how I'm feeling aside from facial expressions.
As for whether more beings should have them? Hm, I'm not too sure. If they want to, why not! A fluffy tail looks cute on anybody!
Ah, good old Luxian. He had just managed to escape Asmodeus, his ears flattened back whilst his tail was puffed up.
Fear not, everyone. He was actually panicked because he had just tried to get away from a sin for about ten minutes, whilst listening to them flirt with him obnoxiously. It was horrible. No wonder Xinalith mentioned steering clear of them.
So, upon seeing Io, he couldn't help but sigh in relief.
Oh, Io, it's so good to see you. I just got away from Asmodeus.
Blink.
They're a little much. And kept asking about me and Kal... Uh. 'Joining them'.
Funny enough, Io was still out looking for that particular sin. They were proving to be especially elusive. Though he was always happy to see a familiar face!
Asmodeus you say?? Oh, how fortunate you are! I've been looking for them all night!
He hadn't at all caught the drift. Join them for what, exactly? Games, probably!
What I wouldn't give to be in your shoes! Perhaps they'd be willing to extend a similar offer to Oberon and I once I locate them both.
Oh poor Luxian. It's not what it sounds like...
Now, tell me, are you that fellow from that delightful children's movie or are you perhaps a normal policman and the ears and tail are merely circumstantial?
Luxian couldn't help but blink in confusion at how elated Io seemed to be. Did he... hear that right? He was fortunate? And he... wants them to ask them both for a threesome?
Oh, well. Ah. If that's what you and Oberon want... though I would be more careful, given they are a sin.
Who was he to yuck someone's yum?
Moving swiftly on, Luxian's chestnuts sparkled when Io recognised his character, giggling as he nodded and wagged his tail.
As a matter of fact, yes! I'm Nick, and Kal came as Judy! The second we received our invitations, we were already working on the costumes and planning them out.
Did you come as a specific character? Like... Garfield? Or are you just a tabby cat? I like it, we have matching tails!
Ah, well that's more or less the point, is it not? Oberon may be a bit hesitant at first, but I'm certain he'll warm up once the fun begins!
Oh Io...
Oh how charming! I do hope we get to see you two together.
I tried my hardest to get Oberon to match, but the closest he would allow was a more moth-like version of his current self. Though I do believe it's caused a certain amount of trouble for himself and the concept of Righteousness...
I, on the other hand, drew inspiration from Skimbleshanks of the musical CATS! Though I've been informed I've now joined the ranks of the "furries"! Are you familiar with furries? Given your...
He gestured to the ears and tail.
Sorry Luxian. Please have patience.
All Luxian could really do was chuckle awkwardly.
Right. Yes. I'm sure he will.
Should he warn someone? Does Oberon even know about this? Should he warn... Oberon? He feels like he should- ah, they were moving on again.
Luxian's ear flickered in confusion at the mention of Oberon's costume causing trouble, a long 'uhh' falling as he glanced around. Trouble is, there were so many big beings here, and in comparison to them? He wasn't that tall.
What sort of trouble? Is he alright? Should we go and help?
Oh, I see! I haven't seen Cats.
He looked like Garfield.
Though, his last point? Luxian couldn't help but raise a brow, glancing down at his fluffy tail whilst his ears flickered. He couldn't help but narrow his eyes.
As a matter of fact, yes. Only because Churro called me a furry. I am not a furry, I was born like this. Very different from wanting to dress up as one.
Yes, Luxian. Go warn Oberon. The little moth has spent most of the party confused and overstimulated. Why stop now?
Ah, well, you see I haven't been able to catch up to him just yet bur from what I can tell he and Chi, aka Mr. Fluffikins have been in kahoots against the other concepts all night. Moth solidarity I presume. Last I saw they were having some sort of kerfuffle involving Death and Satan. Quite the adventure!
For the record Io has also spent most of this party quite confused if that wasn't abundantly obvious.
Now here is where that confusion would really start to get him in trouble. He noticed the change in Luxian's tone. Clearly he'd stepped on a landmine.
My apologies, dear. I hope I haven't caused offense. I'm new to the term, only having learned it on my arrival. Xinalith seemed quite amused by the idea.
Perhaps I've missed some important cultural context?
Luxian's ear flickered around before facing Io directly, taking in the explanation before they flattened back.
Oh furs. He's gotten himself wrapped up in something rather big if it's involving concepts and a sin! Especially Satan. I heard that him and Xinalith are on par with being the most dangerous in terms of how quick they are to anger... oh, I do hope he's alright.
Was Io... not concerned about any of this? Why was this 'quite the adventure'? Does he not realise who's actually involved here?
Letting out a little sigh, Luxian shook his head.
No, it's alright. A furry is someone who's into dressing up as an animal. There's this whole community surrounding them, and they wear suits and all. They have some rather mixed... uh... reception, let's say, especially on Earth.
Of course, I'm a vulpian. My ears and tail are my anatomy, not something I can take on and off. I already get odd looks from people on earth if I don't hide them.
Io was incredibly protective of his precious little pocket lint. In any other situation, he'd be the looming shadow behind his beloved boyfriend. But in the ten years they'd known each other, Oberon had proven time and time again he was the more capable of the two when it came to prominent figures. Sure he was a little awkward, but he knew when to hold his tongue and when to make himself scarce, unlike a certain sunny Aurathi. In fact, it was probably best if Io just stayed out of it.
Not to worry!
He assured the anxious fox.
I have full faith in Oberon's ability to handle himself tonight. He's more resilient than he appears.
A little lovesick sigh left the man before turning his attention back to Luxian.
Ah! I see.
So... From what he was gathering, he and Kalaren were currently furries. Luxian was not. Got it. Though he still wasn't sure why the humans would care. Humans did all sorts of strange and unusual things. This seemed rather tame.
{{ Hey Luxian. }}
Just then Oberon appeared out of seemingly thin air, his shroud disappearing in a puff of purple smoke revealing a very VERY tired moth. (With crumbs in his hair)
{{ What'd I miss? }}
Listening to Io reassure Luxian, the fox soon offered a small smile. In fairness, he did seem to know how to reign himself in...
You're right. I suppose I'm simply not used to being around so many powerful beings in one place.
And honestly, that wasn't a surprise.
Ah, speaking of! His eyes lit up when he saw Oberon walk over, looking fine as ever! Aside from the bags that seemed to have deepened under his eyes. Oh, and the crumbs.
Hello, Oberon! I hope you're alright, Io was just telling me about your little adventure.
Well, Io knows what a furry is now.
He thinks?
Oh, and something about Asmodeus.
Yeah... he was leaving that to Io.
Jarring as it may be, I find many of them easier to talk to than one might imagine.
Maybe that's just you, Io. It helps when your sense of curiosity overrides your sense of self-preservation.
Oberon gave a little shrug. He wasn't sure how Io knew what "little adventure" he'd just been on. Perhaps the man had been keeping tabs.Though he pulled a bit of a face over the furry comment. He suspected Luxian may be a little too optimistic on that one.
{{ You know that's not what this is, right? }}
He gestured to Io's costume. The taller man shook his head.
I fail to see a distinction.
{{ Yeah I figured. I'll fill you in later. }}
Oberon gave Luxian a little look to say "I'll take it from here." Then he let out a long exhale through his nose over Asmodeus.
{{ I was hoping you would've found them and been done by now. }}
Oh, come on. Live a little, Obie! Don't you want to partake in the fun?
{{ I think I've had enough fun for one night. }}
He gave Luxian another little side eye. Who knows that the fox must be thinking at this point. Waving off Io he turned his attention back to his friend.
{{ Where are you headed next? Did Kal get lost somewhere? }}
Knowing him he could be doing anything from wearing a punchbowl on his head to catching Luxian a baby dragon.
Another giggle left him, unable to help but beam at Io.
Then I am envious of your confidence! You really do make talking to them so easy!
I wonder why…
Keeping the smile on his face as he looked over at Oberon, he nodded his head.
Oh, yes, very much so. But apparently, that’s what Xinalith called him, so I was just telling him what a furry is.
Thank you, Oberon, for taking over. Luxian liked Io very much, but if he had a nickel for the odd scenarios he had been in involving the man, he would have two nickels. Which isn’t a lot, but it’s weird it’s happened twice.
Whilst the pair were speaking, his ears twitched when he heard Kalaren shouting for him, leaning back to grin at his beloved boyfriend. Ah, he looked so handsome right now! Hot, too. Always hot. He should pull on his tail—.
‘Don’t drink the things here! They’re drugged!’
Luxian’s eyes widened as he looked back at the drink he was currently holding, blinking several times before his ears slowly flattened down. Oh dear. Oh dearie dear. Was he going to die?
I think to the afterlife?
He answered Oberon’s question, still staring at the glass of what he assumed was whiskey in his hands.
Kal just said the things here are drugged. Is that true? Are they drugged? I knew this was being hosted by demons but I thought since Pax had an involvement… oh furs, I’ve drank several glasses and shots already, and my heads fuzzy. Am I dying? Am I going to die? Is this it for me? Oh dear, I haven’t even finished the jumpers I’m crocheting for the imps! Or fixing up my garden again! Oh no…
Ah. Poor Luxy.
In spite of his appreciation for ✨substances✨ Io still had yet to even grab a single drink. Ember eyes shined to Life at Kalaren's warning.
Meanwhile, Oberon, who was just grabbing himself something mild-smelling from a passing creature, changed his mind and placed the drink back down. He'd had enough contraband for one day.
Io reached out a warm hand as the poor fox started to spiral and gave him a reassuring pat on the head.
I assure you, you'll be fine, my dear. In any case I just so happen to know a very capable doctor should things take a turn.
He gave Luxian a little wink. Then he lifted the glass of would-be whiskey from his hands and threw it back in one long gulp.
Ahhh...
Oh yeah. That was drugged.
It would seem I have some catching up to do! Farewell for now.
Aaaand he was off to find something stronger. Much stronger.
Oberon shook his head at the man before looking to Luxian.
{{ Sorry about him. You going to be okay?}}
Head bobbing along to the patting, he glanced up at Io as he listened to him, before a long 'uhh' fell from him.
I mean, yes, you're very right. But... he would also be quite drunk. And high. So... oh, you're taking it now, okay. Thank you, or uh, take care-
Oh, he downed it. Sorry Io. Good luck Io. Sorry Oberon. He wasn't sure what to think.
Watching as Io took his leave, Luxian glanced back over at Oberon before giggling.
Oh, don't be sorry at all. Io is a delight! He's very fun.
Um, I think so. I hope so? I mean, the only thing that I'm aware of is that my head is fuzzy. It's not like my tail's fallen off or anything, haha!
He even gestured towards his lack-of-tail.
See! It's right here!
No it wasn't.
No, it wasn't.
His eyes widened as they shot back towards his lower back, a horrified gasp falling from him as he spun around, looking for it.
Oh my furs, oh my furs, my tail! It's gone! Disappeared! Did it fall off? Oh my furs, my tail! What do I do? Where could it be? I can't grow another back! I'm not a... a... lizard! My tail...
Now, fear not, his tail did not fall off. It was actually an illusion, making it seem like one of his favourite things about his appearance had disappeared! For Luxian, that would be his beloved, fluffy tail. Really, it was just invisible, but this poor vulpian had no idea about it.
Thanks Luxian, but Io wouldn't need the luck. Oberon certainly would though.
{{ Oh, he's "fun" alright.}}
Big sarcasm. But don't let him fool you. The moth was very much in love.
Watching as poor Luxian began the frantic search for his not-actually-missing tail, Oberon leaned back to take a look and...oh. Huh. Yeah, it wasn't there.
Io was better suited to the calming-people-down side of things, but seeing as he was now deep in his quest for Infernal-grade drugs, Obie would have to do his best.
{{ Uhhh...it's okay. It can't be gone gone, right? Maybe it's like...}}
He poofed his wings in and out of existence a couple times.
{{Like that? Maybe if you focus really hard it'll come back?}}
Bringing his hands up to his chest, breathing exercises Luxy, he nodded and tried his best. Brows furrowing, eyes closing, ears drooping to either side to try and muffle any sort of sound...
...thinking... thinking...
...more thinking...
A gasp!
Oh no! I forgot some of the special tea blends from my home realm for Xinalith's gift!
Jutting out his lips for a moment, he awkwardly chuckled.
Sorry. I can't think very well. I think it's the alcohol.
Though, I do hope you're right. I would be really upset if my tail did fall off... oh! Do you think the demons here would have potions for it? Or... would they be drugged too..?
Silver eyes darted from Luxian and his breathing, to Kalaren and whatever he was getting up to, over to Io and the handful of mystery pills he'd just tossed back. He was beginning to feel like it would've somehow been less eventful to have continued watching Chi.
He jumped back a little, startled as Luxian gasped.
{{ Oh... I'm sure you can always give them-}}
Ope. Nevermind. Back to the tail it was.
{{ I don't think I'd trust any demon potions... Have you tried just-}}
He made the motion of reaching behind himself and feeling around.
{{ Feeling to make sure it's still there?}}
He wasn't about to touch another man's tail. That was a nono.
Pouting a little when Oberon made the very valid comment on not trusting demon potions, Luxian hummed.
Yes, maybe you're right. They're drugged for a reason, so...
His ears did perk up at the moth's suggestion though, a small sparkle in his eyes. Of course! He could try that!
So, turning his body around just enough so his hand could brush against where his tail should be, that... ah, what do you know! It worked! He was able to still feel its fluff, causing Luxian's brows to furrow slightly. Chestnuts moved to look in its general direction, only to see the illusion fall. It can't be upheld now, especially as it was discovered that the tail was still there.
Oh! Oberon, you're just wonderful! Thank you! Oh, I'm so glad my tail is still here...
Giggling softly, he ran his fingers through his fluffy tail, which was now back to being on show, before glancing over at Oberon.
No wonder Kal likes you so much! Thank you again.
To a degree, Oberon understood. If suddenly he were to turn around and find his wings had disappeared that certainly would be cause for panic. They were, after all, his favorite feature.
He chuckled and shook his head as the illusion disappeared- the fox's tail returning to all its fluffy glory.
{{ Oh...I uh. I didn't do anything. }}
He was always awkward with complements.
{{ Some party, huh? I heard there are games but I think I'd trust them just as much as I would one of those potions...}}
In other words, not at all.
Why, Luxian simply had to disagree, his beloved tail softly swaying from side to side.
You helped me with my tail and kept calm when I was panicking. That is doing something.
Flickering his ears, he nodded his head, bringing his hands now behind his back as he swayed back and forth on his heels.
Very much so! I've heard about the games, but I don't think they're a good idea. I believe they only accept souls as payments, so... Oh, and there's also the nature of the games.
A lot of murder. So much murder. Too much murder.
Oh! What did happen with your adventure? Something about Death and Satan?
Oh great. Souls as payment? He hadn't heard that little detail. Another dart of his silver eyes across the way to Io who was still busy getting high. So, so high. In fact he'd never seen the man go this hard before. Wonderful.
Oberon shook his head. Both at the consequences of whatever Io was getting into that would surely become his problem later and at the question Luxian asked about his "adventure".
{{ I made the mistake of offering one of the concepts a drink. Chi. The little uh..}}
He gestured to his own wings and antennae.
{{ moth guy. Turns out they can't really handle their liquor. Long story short, they went a little crazy and I got stuck babysitting. That is until they went after Satan for... who knows why and Death stepped in to break it all up. They left. }}
{{...thankfully. }}
He rubbed his head a little.
{{ That little bug is stronger than they look. }}
{{ What have you been up to? Other than losing your tail, apparently? }}
Good luck to Oberon in regards to Io. That's all anyone can say, really. Poor guy.
Listening to his story, Luxian couldn't help but look sympathetic towards him, which only seemed to grow more and more as the story went on.
Goodness, that sounds incredibly stressful. Making you babysit them as well? That's an entire concept, what were they thinking?
At least Death stepped in.
An odd sentence to say. Something he... well, hopefully wouldn't have to get used to saying?
Oh, I've... uh.
His brows furrowed.
Well, I was speaking with a few people... uh, Life at one point... then Kaztor... and then Asmodeus swept in. I gave them the benefit of the doubt but, uh.
One ear flickered around.
They're a bit much. Flirted with me a lot. Asked a lot about myself and Kal. More specifically, whether we'd want to join them. In their domain. For a night. Or two. Perhaps three. It was a lot.
{{ I've never really been good with kids. Turns out I might be worse with concepts. Unfortunately Io loves both. }}
{{ Death seems pretty cool though. I wish them luck...}}
He brushed the rest of the crumbs out of his hair with a bit of a scowl. Then he listened to Luxian sum up his night and... yikes. He grimaced. Poor Luxian.
{{ You're a better person than I...}}
{{ That's exactly why I'm glad we haven't run into them yet. Io seems to be under the impression all the sins are here to chat and play games. He's in for a... well a nasty surprise.}}
He sighed.
{{ Still it's usually best if I just let him find out for himself. Sorry you had to deal with that. }}
To be fair, they are both very different types of beings. I'm not sure why you're comparing a concept to a child.
Sure, Chi might be rather cute... and fluffy... and adorable... and small... and innocent-looking... and... and... okay, never mind, he takes back what he said. He understands.
Giggling softly, Luxian could only shake his head.
You have to give him credit though, he's braver than some of us here. I would not be able to talk so freely to a sin; Life was only fairly easy because she's very approachable. Even Xinalith, whilst I may see them more often, still frightens me.
It's alright, I managed to escape, and that's actually when I bumped into Io! A happy ending, really!
Though... I am a little worried about Io. Sure, he can hold his own I'm sure, but... Asmodeus?
That's all he had to say.
Anyway, it's been lovely speaking with you Oberon, but I think it's time I go and speak with Kal. Try and enjoy yourself, won't you?
In the shuffle it seemed some people were out of the game and, oh hello Chi! So fluffy and innocent and- how did they get away from Death? Were they doing shots? Why was he worried he wasn't going to be blamed.
Moving on to Kl'yth. Seeing as she was in a hitty mood he handed her a note with a question on it.
She could hate him later.
Oh, look at that. She's now sat between singer man (ignore that she was a genuine fan...) and Pinkie Pie. Eugh. Her nose twitched a little as rolled her eyes, just to be given the note.
Alright, so maybe it took her a little bit to read it. Making out like she couldn't see the blasted thing, but when she did? A long 'UGGGGGHHHHHHH' fell from her, scrunching up the piece of paper before bur-
Oh. No. She ate it. That's nice.
Chewing on it slowly, her crimsons staring off in the distance for a moment, the demon of wrath eventually sighed.
No matter what happens, I can always rely on 'em. They've always got somethin' up their sleeve to make matters less shitty, 'n that is somethin' I'll always 'preciate.
Such a shame, the runes glowed green; no one else will be able to know what was asked, making the demon smirk. So with that, a shot was downed, just for her to choke a little.
She did just swallow paper, so...
Sorting herself out, she stared at Pinkie Pie for a few seconds before rolling her eyes and pulling her close to get her question across. Sorry, Lotus.
Despite the runes not revealing the question, Nymphe had a hunch as to what Kl'yth had been asked. How sweet! Oh, she just ate the paper. Okay.
Ow! You don't have to be so aggressive, you know.
You do realise who you're talking to, right Nymphe?
Her brows furrowed at the question she was asked. Seriously?
I- no?? Obviously not. It'd just turn into charcoal.
Though maybe she'd like the taste of charcoal, being a demon and all. Do demons eat charcoal? The runes began glowing red shortly after, with Kl'yth's... uh, culinary inquiry being revealed to the world.
‘Do ya think I can smoke a salmon if I just light it on fire?’
Maybe you should ask Google, just in case. Just like how Nymphe will be asking it if demons eat charcoal.
Ooh, time to ask Luxian a question!
Happily sitting in the new spot, though he did wonder where Kal had gone off to seeing as this odd ritual took him out, he smiled warmly at Lotus with a quick swish of his tail. Listening to what she asked, his eyes practically sparkled with glee, his tail wagging even faster.
Oh, oh!
This is probably going to give away the question, huh?
Oh, why, there's so many! I think it must be a tie between the renaissance period or the romanticism period. I absolutely adore the brushwork of many renaissance paintings, and how they make you feel and question whenever you gaze at them! Such vibrancy in many pieces as well, oh they're simply marvellous! But... then the romanticism period is equally as beautiful, truly so powerful with each piece of work that was created! Goodness, I really can't decide...
Jutting his lower lip out into a pout, his tail still swishing away like crazy, he hummed.
Perhaps the renaissance. I will go with the Renaissance. Ah, but romanticism is still very close.
...Well, if it wasn't obvious from his answer, then the question would be revealed regardless. Oh, what a happy fox he was for being asked about his interests!
Next up, it was Io! So, with a soft giggle, and perhaps a quiet apology for rambling, he went on to ask him a question.

{{ Hey Luxian. }}
Just then Oberon appeared out of seemingly thin air, his shroud disappearing in a puff of purple smoke revealing a very VERY tired moth. (With crumbs in his hair)
{{ What'd I miss? }}
{{ You know that's not what this is, right? }}
He gestured to Io's costume. The taller man shook his head.
I fail to see a distinction.
{{ Yeah I figured. I'll fill you in later. }}
Oberon gave Luxian a little look to say "I'll take it from here." Then he let out a long exhale through his nose over Asmodeus.
{{ I was hoping you would've found them and been done by now. }}
Oh, come on. Live a little, Obie! Don't you want to partake in the fun?
{{ I think I've had enough fun for one night. }}
He gave Luxian another little side eye. Who knows that the fox must be thinking at this point. Waving off Io he turned his attention back to his friend.
{{ Where are you headed next? Did Kal get lost somewhere? }}
{{ Sorry about him. You going to be okay?}}
{{ Oh, he's "fun" alright.}}
{{ Uhhh...it's okay. It can't be gone gone, right? Maybe it's like...}}
He poofed his wings in and out of existence a couple times.
{{Like that? Maybe if you focus really hard it'll come back?}}
Bringing his hands up to his chest, breathing exercises Luxy, he nodded and tried his best.
{{ Oh... I'm sure you can always give them-}}
Ope. Nevermind. Back to the tail it was.
{{ I don't think I'd trust any demon potions... Have you tried just-}}
He made the motion of reaching behind himself and feeling around.
{{ Feeling to make sure it's still there?}}
He wasn't about to touch another man's tail.
{{ Oh...I uh. I didn't do anything. }}
He was always awkward with complements.
{{ Some party, huh? I heard there are games but I think I'd trust them just as much as I would one of those potions...}}
{{ I made the mistake of offering one of the concepts a drink. Chi. The little uh..}}
He gestured to his own wings and antennae.
{{ moth guy. Turns out they can't really handle their liquor. Long story short, they went a little crazy and I got stuck babysitting. That is until they went after Satan for... who knows why and Death stepped in to break it all up. They left. }}
{{...thankfully. }}
He rubbed his head a little.
{{ That little bug is stronger than they look. }}
{{ What have you been up to? Other than losing your tail, apparently? }}
Ah, good old Luxian. He had just managed to escape Asmodeus, his ears flattened back whilst his tail was puffed up.

{{ Sorry about him. You going to be okay?}}
{{ Oh, he's "fun" alright.}}
{{ Uhhh...it's okay. It can't be gone gone, right? Maybe it's like...}}
He poofed his wings in and out of existence a couple times.
{{Like that? Maybe if you focus really hard it'll come back?}}
Bringing his hands up to his chest, breathing exercises Luxy, he nodded and tried his best.
{{ Oh... I'm sure you can always give them-}}
Ope. Nevermind. Back to the tail it was.
{{ I don't think I'd trust any demon potions... Have you tried just-}}
He made the motion of reaching behind himself and feeling around.
{{ Feeling to make sure it's still there?}}
He wasn't about to touch another man's tail.
{{ Oh...I uh. I didn't do anything. }}
He was always awkward with complements.
{{ Some party, huh? I heard there are games but I think I'd trust them just as much as I would one of those potions...}}
The seating plan had been rearranged once more, though it seemed that for some reason, Io and Oberon were out this time around. What the fuck did Asmodeus do when trying to perform this curse?
Looking at where they were, they saw Kl'yth already giving them a mischievous grin... so they smacked her in the face.
Only to be punched again in the side. They had seven bruises now.
But also next to them, was little ol' Lotus again. Oh, how sweet. Smirking, they leaned in to whisper their question to her.
Now Nymphe sat between Xinalith and someone she doesn't recall meeting before. She gave them a smile.
Hi!
She tilted her head as she thought of a eay to answer. It's not like she hadn't thought about it before, especially when she was younger.
It being destroyed, probably. Oh, or me dying. That's actually more likely to happen, and then I would get replaced.
Oh okay. That's good to know, Lotus.
She waited for the souls to speak, letting out a small exhale as they remained silent and taking a shot of something that was far more pleasant than whatever she'd drunk last time. Thank goodness.
Now, what was she meant to ask someone she didnt know? Hm…
She wrote her question down and handed it to them.
Rex'xa was giggling and clapping along to the unknown question. Oh their mirror would love this question and they loved love! Where was Nin anyways she was meant to be having fun too.
Anyways, question!
Northern Saw-Whet Owl.
Oh they just had that locked and loaded didn't they? But then the souls echoed the question back.
"What's your favourite animal?"
Look Nin loved animals, Rex'xa loved Nin, they heard so much about animals and therefore loved them too. They loved love!! Admin here, do not let Rex'xa love you.
It was now their turn to ask! Oh look Moon! They loved Moon!
Much to her dismay they were learning in to whisper a question.
Well call her curious as to what Lotus was speaking on. Rex'xa not so much. She tuned that crazy fuck out most of the time. Sure she liked insanity, but not their flavour of it.
Even as they leaned in to whisper they got a punch to the throat.
The question though? Oh that made her almost growl at the small thing.
Mine of course, I was in it. I'm sure they would feel theirs was superior too.
Seeing that the rune glowed green she took her shot and moved on to...Jerrikon...really? But oh how she smirked as a question graced her mind. Not being Rex'xa she simply spoke to the other concepts mind.
He tried not to laugh seeing Rex'xa get throat punched but it was funny. What wasn't funny was the question Moon asked.
You sadistic bitch.
Don't worry it was said with a smirk and a bit of pride. That was his mirror. Thinking for a bit as he looked around...
Xinalith.
The glint in those yellow hues only said that they wouldn't want their name being said.
Looking at the green light, a shot of intoxication hit him straight on. Fuck he would not get used to that. Boo hoo for them not knowing though.
Looking to the other side...who was little red riding hoodlum over here?
Anyways, question time. Writing on some paper he tossed it over.
Well, this could be... better... oh, hey, Pax! He grinned as he waved a hello to him, before letting out an 'oh' when the paper was tossed to him. Kaztor picked it up and read it over, grimacing at the mere idea of it.
I don't think they would... at least, I hope not.
He really hoped not.
Shaking his head though, the demon let out a long 'uhh' before frowning. He didn't like this question at all. Especially involving who was asked.
After a long time thinking on it, all Kaztor could do was sigh.
I would transform into my demon form and drown myself out. Let it take over for me. I wouldn't have to witness it then.
Watching the runes light up in green, Kaztor reached over to take a shot. Oh, delicious! Where could he get more of that?
...Ah, and it was drugged too. Gods damn it. That pang went straight to his head, bring out a low 'ughhh'.
Looking over at Pax, now with a bit of a sway in his movements, the demon leaned in and gestured for the donari to come closer, just to whisper a question into his ear.
This game was really something so far. So many unknown questions and he was nosey as hell. Therefore he hated this. Still he was trying to have a fun time, waving to Xinalith with a kissy face.
Oh Kaztor right. Leaning in to hear the question he hummed with a bit of a dopey smile.
A christmas market. There was hot drinks and ice skating and white the activities weren't exactly our thing or going perfect it was perfect because of them.
Even with the question remaining hidden, people could probably guess.
Taking a shot, it was...unholy hells it was bad. Bitter as all hells and drugged. A small hiss as he shook his head before moving to Luxian to ask his question.
Yeah... people could tell. At least, Luxian had a bit of an idea, which made him coo and giggle softly. Aw, he really did love love!
Just... not to Rex'xa's extent.
Letting his ear perk up so he could listen to Pax's answer, Luxian hummed in thought deeply. Oh, there were so many to choose from! But as he glanced over at Kalaren, a soft smile appeared on his face.
The day Kal and I first said 'I love you'. I never felt more at home hearing those words for the first time.
The circle glowed red, and the question would be repeated. As it was, his tail was gently wagging behind him, his smile widening before he realised just who he was next to.
Oh. Furs. Not again. He just escaped him before!
Quietly asking Pax for some paper, because sorry Asmodeus, Luxian was not going near him, he wrote his question before handing it over to the sin.
{{ Hey Luxian. }}
Just then Oberon appeared out of seemingly thin air, his shroud disappearing in a puff of purple smoke revealing a very VERY tired moth. (With crumbs in his hair)
{{ What'd I miss? }}
{{ You know that's not what this is, right? }}
He gestured to Io's costume. The taller man shook his head.
I fail to see a distinction.
{{ Yeah I figured. I'll fill you in later. }}
Oberon gave Luxian a little look to say "I'll take it from here." Then he let out a long exhale through his nose over Asmodeus.
{{ I was hoping you would've found them and been done by now. }}
Oh, come on. Live a little, Obie! Don't you want to partake in the fun?
{{ I think I've had enough fun for one night. }}
He gave Luxian another little side eye. Who knows that the fox must be thinking at this point. Waving off Io he turned his attention back to his friend.
{{ Where are you headed next? Did Kal get lost somewhere? }}
Knowing him he could be doing anything from wearing a punchbowl on his head to catching Luxian a baby dragon.

As always, the sins wanted more chaos. Sure, there was outside things happening, but in the castle? Aside from Satan almost losing his temper with someone, it was pretty tame. Damn Pax.
So, to spice things up, Asmodeus gathered everyone around and—yoinking one of Xinalith's scrolls to look into how to place a strong enough curse—everyone was trapped within a ritual circle where they could only speak the truth! Drinks, of course, supplied... drugged too... and okay, maybe Asmodeus was a bit high and made it so after everyone asked the first time around, people would suddenly switch.
Or maybe it was Xinalith's handwriting.
First up, would be Io, and... oh dear, Asmodeus was already giving the flame-haired man the eyes as they leaned in to hear his question. ( @infernussins )
At last! At long last Io had found the person he'd been looking for! Ever since Xinalith *insisted* he talk to the sin, it had been all he wanted to do.
He gave a little excited wave to Oberon and mouthed a "look who it is!"
Needless to say, the moth was less than enthusiastic.
Moving on! He leaned in to ask his first question. One he would have asked anyway regardless of the drinking game and would be making note of the answer in his notebook. Though, in all honesty, he may have partaken in one too many substances. His judgment a little on the foggy side.
Listening to him speak, a little 'ooh' falling... though, not at the question, it was more so at him whispering in their ear, they soon pouted at just how...
...utterly fucking boring this was already starting out to be. I mean, really. They wanted something bigger, juicier, dirtier, not this!
Mammon.
Instead of using coins, the ritual circle burned in the centre in a dark green flame. That would be the sign that the question was soon to be revealed, which was followed swiftly by a chorus of voices repeating the question that Io had whispered.
Souls. Yes, souls were weaved into this. This is the infernal realm, what did you expect?
Moving on, Asmodeus hummed at the woman beside them before leaning in. Even gently tucking her hair behind her ear... sorry, Lotus. They're a creep.
Nymphe felt a shiver crawl down her spine as Asmodeus leaned in, scooting ever so slightly in the opposite direction.
Oh, now she felt heat creeping up to her face as she actually processed what they said — did she really have to answer that?
Somno
Oh, okay, apparently she did. Stupid, stupid truth curse.
I don't like this game.
Yet she was still playing. Even though the whole thing with the souls was kind of creepy. At least her question wasn't revealed. Silver linings.
She counted her blessings as she took a shot of- oh, ew!
She gagged. Ugh, that thing was disgusting... At least it didn't seem to have any side effects (other than tasting like garbage). Once again, silver linings.
Knowing that Moon didn't like it when other people got close (honestly, after the way Asmodeus was acting, she could understand why), Nymphe opted for writing her own question down on a paper and handing it to her.
With a small nod of thanks for not whispering in her ear she took the paper. Of course her brow raised at Lotus' answer even if she didn't hear it.
Looking around the circle she let off a long hum.
Pinky pie. Not you, the other one.
Why yes, she did refuse to say Asmodeus' name. It was like it wasn't real to her. Didn't even know who he was.
Even as the souls lit up to answer only a small smirk appeared.
"Who would you kill first in this circle?"
Chanted out from them.
Looking over to Kalaren, well twin privilege, she asked a question that made his face contort.
Actually why was he here? He had a terrible time last time. There was the thing with Kaztor and Pax and oh Moon was asking a question.
Pause. Blink. Face twisting as his stomach flipped. Sure twin privilege but what the hell?
Clearing his throat meekly he looked around.
Uh well I guess uh....Rex'xa?
He bit his tongue as he waited for the souls to speak only for them to remain silent. A sigh of relief before looking to Kl'yth with a small smile.
Assuming she didn't want him too close he leaned in before speaking but keeping it quiet enough for the others not to hear.
Kl'yth was absolutely fucked.
No, not because of anything she did for once. But simply down to the amount of alcohol and drugs she consumed. She was seeing fuck knows what right now, and... maybe something was foaming in her mouth...
Ah, no. That was drool. She best wipe that off.
Listening to what Kalaren was whispering to her, she stared at all of the people here, a long 'hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm' sounding from her. Eyes squinting, leaning forward a little bit, oh she lost her balance and was sitting upright again.
Her eyes moved between the concepts, before landing on the sins, before going back to the donari... hmm. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm indeed.
You, Kalaren. Easy as angel shit.
The circle burned as the question was revealed, but she didn't really think twice about it. Moving on, was foxy man. Furry man. Something man.
So, she yanked him closer, actually flicked his ear to make sure he listened to her, and whispered her question.
A quiet 'oh!' left him when he was suddenly pulled in... maybe his face also contorted a little in pain, because wow, she was strong. Too strong. Was his uniform stretched? He swore he heard-
Oh, ow, my ear-
Well, now he was listening to her question, blinking a few times before looking over at her with a confused look.
Um... no?
As usual, the ritual sparked to life, glowed green and repeated the question. Which was... yep, it was something Kl'yth would ask.
Flickering his gaze onto the concept, he blinked a couple of times before humming contemplatively, quickly asking for some paper to write with from Kl'yth. She's a demon, right? So she can...
...A rock. And a white crayon. He supposed that would do...
Writing his question, for he wasn't too sure if the concept would want him so close, he handed it over to Rex'xa.
Rex'xa had been gently rocking and playing the drum on their thighs while waiting. They had no real idea what was going on but was happy to be hear.
Actually out of all the concepts Rex'xa was the most open to touch, a huggy being at times. Reading the question he thought for a bit. really this was a hard question, he was one of the longest working of the current concepts so it had been a long, long time since he knew mortal desire.
Ice cream. Food in general. Eating and enjoying the food.
Oh what now? Oh the souls were speaking.
"Is there anything from your time with mortality that you'd want to enjoy again?"
Freaky.
With a bordering psychotic giggle they looked to Xinalith, oh they knew them! And they had a burning question. The ground before them began to alter so the question was written in stone before vanishing.
So you wouldn't eat a demon?
Apparently he was asking Luxian that. Was that allowed? Who knew.
Xinalith was also rather high. And they were also very focused on the fact that clearly, Asmodeus had been sneaking around in their belongings again. This was their work, and it had also been butchered. How does one fuck up following basic instructions so much? And they call themselves a sin...
They weren't paying too much attention until Rex'xa's question came into view, scarlets running over it before the demon scoffed.
Useless. I would have more fun killing him.
The runes burned for a few moments before scorching red, signifying that the question wasn't to be shared. They couldn't care if they did have to share it, but alas, the game was to move on.
Ah. Right. Shot.
Downing one, they had to hold back a gag before shaking their head. That was terrible. Sure, not as bad as some of the shots them and Pax had been having, but still terrible.
Next to them was Oberon, so leaning over with a little smirk, they whispered their question to him.
Oberon was stone cold sober. And for once, he wasn't entirely sure it was a good thing. He didn't love the way Asmodeus was eyeing Io and honestly felt kind of relieved when they called him boring.
That's right.
Leave his boring book nerd boyfriend alone.
Though at the moment he had bigger fish to fry. Namely?The birthday demon. Wonderful. Who was making these seating arrangements anyway? He had a bone to pick with them.
When the question came, he just looked to Io, an apology already etched on his face.
{{ Truthfully. And I'd probably but him a few new fish. }}
As the question was revealed, he simply stared down at his boots. What he wouldn't see is Io giving him a sympathetic look. Of course, Io didn't know the moth had come very close to turning that damn goose loose during that dreadful year he was gone.
Now it was his turn to ask a question. A rather formidable looking concept on his other side. Instead of leaning in to whisper he merely put up one of his sound barriers before asking his question.
This was one of those moments that Jerrikon was, well Jerrikon. He hadn't even noticed Oberon there. The moth gave up so little magic Frank made more of a impression.
The question though? Oh he liked that. Little nobody was trying to stir shit up.
His answer was imediate.
Life, Death, Space, Time, Me, Moon, Xinalith, Rex'xa then Nin.
When the rune turned red he actually booed. He wanted them to know.
Being that drinking had no effect a curse took hold making his head feel loopy. Fuck it had been a long time since he felt like this. For a reason he had a job to do and couldn't be high or drunk all the time.
Looking over...ah Pax. A devilish grin on his face as he spoke in the man's mind.
All Pax knew was clearly the ask had to do with the concepts and he didn't care to know more than that. It was a fight waiting to happen.
Speaking of a fight waiting to happen the question Jerrikon asked made him completely freeze.
With the truth spell in place he had to answer though.
I could never pick. I think it would kill me if I ever had to.
Then red came up. Maybe for the best or maybe it wasn't, hard to say. Either way that was his truthful, soul bound answer.
Looking to Kaztor he wasn't sure if he should be nice or keep it silly.
After some back and forth he leaned in to whisper.
Once again, Kaztor was pretty lucky with his seating arrangement. Next to Pax and also Io, what could go wrong?
Listening to the donari's question, he jutted his lips out in thought. Now, it wasn't like it was difficult or anything, it was a pretty straightforward question for most. But for Kaztor, someone who didn't really think of this sort of thing? Oh, it was hard.
He was sitting there, umming and ahhing at it, lips opening up before he shook his head from being so unsure. He had... no idea! So, a little while longer, and finally he thought of something.
I guess... someone with light hair? Like, blonde or pastel or something? And... maybe someone funny? Funny with light hair? I guess? Smart too? Smart, funny, light hair.
Apparently, the answer was accepted, so the runes burned green and the question was revealed.
Next up, Io! With a big grin, he leaned in and whispered his question to the man.
Oberon's question hadn't bothered him in the slightest, apart from the fact it had clearly made Obie uncomfortable. But he knew the moth would never kill his beloved gift from Xinalith. nope, still not a gift. And he was far too high to even remember the answer.
He gave Kaztor an excited look, not quite unlike a rambunctious puppy, as he leaned in to hear the question.
Ah! How amusing. I'd say... a tandem bicycle!
With the runes glowing red, Io happily took a shot and woof! That was strong. Excellent!
Oh. But a little pout formed as he was suddenly pulled away from the sin he'd been so excited to meet. Though it wouldn't last long as he was now arranged next to the fine chap who'd been sitting next to Obie!
Mmm. Obie... Chap... Obie in chaps....
The drugs were working. Sorry Jerrikon.
Again Jerrikon was simply "who the fuck was this?". As if he knew many people. He knew the other concepts and Pax. Seriously he had never even met Kalaren before and was side eyeing him trying to figure out if that was the twin or not.
The question? He was looking at the fire haired fuck like he lost his mind. Who invited this weirdo? Again not exactly a great question for a concept that had no mortality.
Looking around he eventually shrugged.
Asmodeus?
It was the most logical.
When the thing turned red he actually felt like that was the worst outcome. Who knew what the fox fucking sin would think.
Speaking of Foxes he looked beside him. Police fox. Right. Anyways.
The question was spoken in their head before that wave of intoxication hit Jerrikon again. Well fucky doodle dandy his brain.
When everyone was suddenly switched, Luxian had to adjust his sight to the sudden teleportation. Not exactly great when you're intoxicated, that's for sure. Though, looking at where he was sitting? Oh dear.
His ears shot up when the question was spoken in Luxian's mind, really adding onto the intoxicated state he was in. That was really... uh. Fuzzy?
Though, they were quick to droop down as chestnuts looked over to the concept, lips parted in what could only be horror. Oh, goodness, such a question made him so uncomfortable, he ended up looking away from him.
Remember, this was Luxian here. Luxian, a bubbly, friendly, drama-free, happy fox. Luxian, who was always optimistic, tried his best not to see the bad in people, and most definitely didn't...
...Um... Be glad that someone was... um... dead.
The last would was spoken very, very softly, followed shortly by the squeezing of his eyes. He hated this. He hated this game, he decided. Oh, he was a terrible person, and-
He didn't see the colour that the ritual burned, only heard the repeating of the question that made his own head fall into his hands. This was a wonderful, wonderful awakening to perhaps never attend a demonic party like this again.
Sighing, and avoiding eye contact for he was ashamed, he made do with some piece of paper laying nearby and wrote out a question for Moon, simply handing it over to her.

{{ Hey Luxian. }}
Just then Oberon appeared out of seemingly thin air, his shroud disappearing in a puff of purple smoke revealing a very VERY tired moth. (With crumbs in his hair)
{{ What'd I miss? }}
{{ You know that's not what this is, right? }}
He gestured to Io's costume. The taller man shook his head.
I fail to see a distinction.
{{ Yeah I figured. I'll fill you in later. }}
Oberon gave Luxian a little look to say "I'll take it from here." Then he let out a long exhale through his nose over Asmodeus.
{{ I was hoping you would've found them and been done by now. }}
Oh, come on. Live a little, Obie! Don't you want to partake in the fun?
{{ I think I've had enough fun for one night. }}
He gave Luxian another little side eye. Who knows that the fox must be thinking at this point. Waving off Io he turned his attention back to his friend.
{{ Where are you headed next? Did Kal get lost somewhere? }}
{{ Sorry about him. You going to be okay?}}
{{ Oh, he's "fun" alright.}}
{{ Uhhh...it's okay. It can't be gone gone, right? Maybe it's like...}}
He poofed his wings in and out of existence a couple times.
{{Like that? Maybe if you focus really hard it'll come back?}}
Bringing his hands up to his chest, breathing exercises Luxy, he nodded and tried his best.
{{ Hey Luxian. }}
Just then Oberon appeared out of seemingly thin air, his shroud disappearing in a puff of purple smoke revealing a very VERY tired moth. (With crumbs in his hair)
{{ What'd I miss? }}
{{ You know that's not what this is, right? }}
He gestured to Io's costume. The taller man shook his head.
I fail to see a distinction.
{{ Yeah I figured. I'll fill you in later. }}
Oberon gave Luxian a little look to say "I'll take it from here." Then he let out a long exhale through his nose over Asmodeus.
{{ I was hoping you would've found them and been done by now. }}
Oh, come on. Live a little, Obie! Don't you want to partake in the fun?
{{ I think I've had enough fun for one night. }}
He gave Luxian another little side eye. Who knows that the fox must be thinking at this point. Waving off Io he turned his attention back to his friend.
{{ Where are you headed next? Did Kal get lost somewhere? }}
{{ Sorry about him. You going to be okay?}}

Blink.
