After losing our home, my family and I have experienced repeated displacement within Gaza. We are now living in extremely difficult conditions and urgently need your help for my three children.

Our tent has been damaged and is no longer suitable for living. We are suffering from insects and rodents, and just two days ago, one of my children nearly got bitten by a scorpion.

My name is Mohammed Matar, a father of two beautiful children, Esraa and Sohaib. I also care for my elderly parents, my sisters, and their children. Like thousands of families in Gaza, the war changed every part of our lives.

When I started this campaign on November 10, 2024, my only goal was simple: to keep my family alive.

Thanks to your generous contributions, $11,140 has been raised as of today, July 9, 2026. Every dollar was used transparently for food, clean water, medicine, and other basic necessities that helped my family survive during the hardest days of our lives.

Today, I am asking for something different.

I don't want to depend on donations forever. I want the chance to work again.

Before the war, I earned a Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science and worked in laboratories and hospitals. The war took away our home, my job, and everything we had built.

Today, work opportunities in Gaza are almost nonexistent. After thinking carefully about the few opportunities still available, I found one realistic way to support my family again.

My dream is to buy an electric motorcycle and start a small delivery business. It may seem like a simple vehicle, but for my family it represents something much bigger.

It means I can earn an honest income.

It means I can buy food for my children with the money I earn through my own work.

It means my children can see their father standing on his own feet again instead of waiting for aid.

"My new fundraising goal is $5,338. Adding this to the $11,140 previously raised will bring our total campaign goal to $16,478, which will allow me to purchase the motorcycle and begin working as soon as possible."

Once I reach this goal, I will document every step—from purchasing the motorcycle to starting work—and I will continue sharing updates with everyone who supported us.

hi, i’m currently very scared about housing. i am disabled and am supporting me and another person on $1200 a month. we were trying to find housing elsewhere, and didn’t pay the rent for a couple months because we needed to use the money to try and find an apartment.

it has been excruciatingly hard to find a place. by June 26, we have to either find a new place or pay our landlord the $1296 in back rent. i feel like i’m suffocating. i don’t want to be homeless again. please help. we’ve already got $612.

When they took my mother into the operating room, l felt like I couldn't breathe. I kept praying that l would see her alive again. By God's mercy, she survived the surgery, and I will never forget the people who stood beside us and helped us reach that moment 🙏

But our journey is not over yet. She is still in the hospital under close medical observation, and we still need $700 to cover her remaining hospital bills.. medications, and treatment 💔

What hurts me the most is that for two full days, not a single donation has come. I keep opening the fundraiser every few minutes, hoping to see even one small contribution, hoping to feel that someone still hears us. Every time I see the number unchanged, I feel my heart sink a little more 😔

as a result of the latest paper leak-which was a medical entrance exam-20+ kids committed suicide. this man saw their plight, and decided to use a form of peaceful protest, that indian freedom fighters used, to fight against colonial rule. it's something that has barely gotten any media coverage, as most news channels and newspapers are tightly controlled by the government. there were plans to conduct a peaceful walk to the parliament, and before that could proceed, the police-armed in tactical gear-kidnapped a frail old man, who can't even stand without assistance. this is plain and simple fascism, please talk about it on your various social media platforms to put some pressure on the indian government for the immediate release of this man.
