Hey Paul, just curious...why do you think some of these extreme shippers keep holding on to their fantasies about Sam and Cait? This recent one, sgian-dubh, is really hateful to anyone who dares to question her and swears she knows things, but never tells what those things are.
As much as Sam travels and works, do they seriously believe he and Cait have multiple kids- or do you think they keep stirring this shit for some other reason?
I am fairly new to following all this and I find it appalling how they attack any woman Sam dates or that they think he dates. It's really sad that such a good guy can't just have a normal relationship or a normal date without them ruining it. It really saddens me that he may have lost some good relationships because of these nutcases.

Nice to meet you. I guess the best way to answer your question is - why do people believe the earth is flat when there are images and proof positive that it's not?
People believe what they want to believe but I do think a LOT of Supershippers use the belief that Sam and Cait are together for power, attention and popularity. As for the "black knife" she should call herself the black widow. It's kind of cheesy of her to be stealing from other Supershippers "schticks" to further her bizarre ideas. I guess it's better than black shirt; too close to the Squadrismo group I would assume but she does have the same terrorist qualities.
My advice would be to ignore the moots, the wives, the shirts and any others who will post that they are together. They are not and I think that any person who believes they are together are ridiculously oblivious to real life. Maybe it's because of soap operas where millions of watchers suspend belief that everyone is a doctor or a lawyer or business tycoon in real life versus a cashier in a supermarket or something that common people do for jobs. Also apparently on soaps it's quite easy to switch DNA tests or move to Europe when the going gets tough. I guess if you can believe that; you are capable of believing in flat earths and Sam and Cait's secret marriage and the stupidity used to explain their proof.

In 20/20 hindsight, it's all just funny to me. The craziness of a 26 year old woman who went from fandom to fandom trying to push her "shipping" beliefs when she came to Outlander and found all these gullible grannies who believed her stories and launched a movement that despite all the truths staring them in the face - they came up with bizarre, sometimes ludicrous excuses to explain it all away.
A couple have tried that "Paul and Sam are no longer friends" routine before - one even went so far as to create a complete fictional friend of Sam who came to her to specifically tell her that Sam and I were not friends. I believe she is still blocked by Sam as are most of the old shipping community. #finallyhegotitright
Sam and I are still friends. We don't communicate as much as we did: he's busy, I'm busy, and the whole crazy community of damaged women (mostly) just gets wicked tiring (to use my Boston vernacular) after a while. When we talk or text ..it's about what's going on in our lives and the Outlander world is left in the dust. He is Sam; not Jaimie and he has tons of other things going on besides being in a cable TV show.
Sam is a saint for all he puts up with from these demented types. That is the one fault I have with Sam - he's too good and too trusting. He eventually learns that you cannot give these weird people even an inch because they take up a yard and that came out on his famous Hawaiian holiday where the Outlander world saw just how far the idiots would go to force Sam back to the UK so they could continue the lies about the fake marriage, debunking marriage certifictes, priests, children and that hilarious "no fraternization clause."
I do pop in from time to time when I need a chuckle on how invested some of the new mob are and to check out the desperate ones who are still trying to peddle how "connected they are" to things that they know the truth.
They aren't connected to reality let alone the truth.
I don't have to prove anything to crazies (yeah, I know bad word because it brings up whatever the freaking hell it brings up - how about unbalanced & brainsick? That's probably closer to reality.)

My image is on the left and the shipper image is on the right.
They made the top and the bottom darker (thatās why the emoji is darker on theirs to make the brown stripes look black like Caitrionaās photo.
If they just took my photo you would see that itās definitely not the same fabric or colour.Ā Also I think Samās photo is of a pillow.
What they did was they darkened the top and the bottom to get to a reasonable facsimile of black - thatās why when I tried to restore the colour the top and bottom stayed black and white.Ā They had been manipulated to appear to be black.
They still manipulated the photo to make it appear that it was the same.Ā They just did it from an existing image that they darkened.
Iām back with even more stupidity from the Shippers.

So a group of shippers are floating around this image purportedly from a Sam Instagram Story:
They want you to take notice of whatās UNDER the book - purportedly the SAME EXACT SHEETS!
OH MY GAWD!!!!Ā How crazy is that?
Then you begin to take a look at the image itself...
First off - every single copy of this photo has the words:
The words are in Italian and mean Active Now.Ā Why canāt I find any other versions of this photo with English, French or Spanish words?Ā There seems to only be one version of this photo.
In continuing to look - the photo is in black and white - just like Caitrionaās baby photo.Ā Not only is the photo b&w but the š³emoji is ALSO in black and white.Ā Why would the emoji be in black and white?
Well the only reason can be (since emojis donāt come in black and white) is that someone took a colour photo and made it black and white and thus the existing caption with the yellow emoji also became black and white.
Whatās even odder is that if you attempt to restore colour to the photo you see that the bottom and top halves still stay black and white showing that there is a layered image with both colour and black and white effects going on.
And notice the emoji still stays black and white.
Also the colour of the white text matches the caption and the āAttivo/ a oraā line. If this was someone who posted a b&w decoloured photo the Attivo would be bright white. This proves that the transfer to b&w happened after a screen cap of an Instagram was captured. Another indication this photo isnāt real.
This appears to be a deliberately faked photo.
You can even see more photoshopping by changing up the exposureĀ and brightness of the black and white photo:
Notice the choppy effect on the pages.Ā This isnāt due to the pulp of the page but someone carelessly cutting out the background with a mouse.
The doctoring of the photo becomes even more apparent in changing the brightness of the over exposed image but looking at the bottom around the caption reveals a distinct rectangle around the caption.:
This is also an indication that the caption was not applied to the actual bottom layer but another layer - a likely transparent one.
And then in looking at the word picture you notice that the lines go a little wonky here:
Between the E and the S in Pictures you can see that one of the lines goes off at a seemingly 45 degree angleĀ ā/ /āĀ for no reason:
Also notice within the āEā in pictures that the stripe angle goes even more extreme.Ā
Then under the ED in Bedtime you can see that a stripe forks - thatās not in any of the rest of the pattern.Ā
Thatās again a good indication that itās been tampered with.
On top of all of this you have the hysterical assertion by yet ANOTHER shipper that Caitrionaās baby photo is based on an Instagram filter from 2016.
So if this is true then Sam kept his sheets for 6 years?Ā Or are the stripes THAT good that they bought tons of them and have been using them for years?
I wish that Shippers who want to concoct lies at least try to make things plausible.Ā One set is claiming this is a 2016 photo while another set of Shippers creates a fake Sam story post with sheets that they not only have to turn black and white to be able to match Caitrionaāās photo sheets but then thereās not enough material so they have to play around with photo shop and they cannot keep their lines straight.
What kind of mental case goes through this trouble to try to refute what every one else is saying?
Just terribly sad that they expend so much work and energy in the hopes that this will make them well known in their crazy little fandom.
So one of the ridiculous shippers (you know her - the Stalker from Down Under) posted this tidbit to try to set the shipper world celebrating.
So what she really wants us all to believe is that there is a divorce pending between Caitriona and Tony and this VERY THOUGHTFUL shipper chooses a time when thereās no possible way to make Sam the Baby Daddy.
She is desperately hoping that the Shipper World is too dumb to see what this is.I'm not and if you carefully read it you will see what a farce this is, too.

So she previews It with baiting the crowd that the baby's arrival "beat" the divorce. Ā Her "proof" is that she has this form generated from a website presumably and wants us all to think that a divorce is pending.
But is it a reality?

Letās look at the form itself:Ā why would a form ask what country if the search was on a UK government website? Ā
It's the UK. Ā It's based on the court in the jurisdiction you live; thatās where you file the petition. Ā The truth is - this image not an official government website.
All this is basically is a generic search form to see if there is actually a divorce pending and it seems to break things down into geographical areas.Ā Ā
Now why wouldnāt she have just gone to the horses mouth and looked at the UK Government website?Ā Weāll get to that.
If you look after the screen cap you can a bit more information includining the phrase:"Please check all the information again and contact us if there are any changes..."
Why would it say that if it's proof positive that there's a divorce happening?
Also see the line:
"No trace confirms that a divorce has not been issued and the case is stuck at the nisi stage"
So let's go over Divorce Terms in the UK:
Decree Nisi:
The decree nisi is a provisional decree of divorce pronounced when the court is satisfied that a person has met the legal and procedural requirements to obtain a divorce.Ā
Decree Absolute:
The decree absolute is the final decree which actually dissolves the marriage.
So now knowing those terms go back to: "No trace confirms that a divorce has not been issued and the case is stuck at the nisi stage"
Now itās clearer - that means that the courts legal and procedural requirements have not been satisfied. Ā
Well we know from shipper deep dives that both Tony and Caitriona are fairly wealthy.Ā So if this divorce decree nisi would have actually been submitted, it would have been by very competent solicitors. Ā
So that shows yet another flaw in the logic presented.
The only "public" information available to anyone about a UK Divorce is the Final Decree Absolute. Ā Here's it right from a divorce solicitors website in the UK:
Now going back to the form that the Shipper posted - there's no court name or case number assigned. That means no divorce has even been started or itās a screen cap of her filling in what little information she has.
If thatās so - then what is the result?Ā Its that the bottom part of the screen cap that states that no trace means thereās no final divorce?Ā If thatās the case why is the court and the case number blank?
This is all just a way to trick the feeble minded types in the Shipper World to get the ship floating again because there's a divorce happening.

This is just yet another smoke and mirrors trick to make shippers "feel good about yourselves and break out those lemons with happy faces on them" moment by someone who has a reputation for creating fantasies and lies.
If you are a shipper and want to believe her - go ahead but the only way to get any kind of paperwork is to make an inquiry directly to the court.

If you go and look at them one of them one was folded (top) and the other (bottom) seemed to be rolled up.
If you go look at the printing you will see where they are exactly the same and where they are different.
I took 90 degree lines and put them through the small I in District, the Captal S in Somerset and I placed the last one next to the second H in Church.
If you compare them they line up perfectly with each other.
Then if you go look at the April date on the two certificates you see that the heavily redacted April date at the bottom doesnāt line up withĀ āday ofā and on the less redacted one the April 2021 is much lower.Ā Ā
That shows me that they were printed on different dates and are two separate certificates otherwise, if they were photoshopped - they would line up exactly like they do in the certificate information.
The randomization of the printed dates shows me that itās a form fed into a printer that prints out the known information exactly and then when it comes time to print out the date it can be off.
Also those people who are claiming that the Hague Apostille company in the UK is aĀ āForms R Usā where you can download a fake form havenāt bothered to look up what the word Apostille means:
