Where/how do you find links to merch being sold?
Hi there!
I usually start by checking the band's current website(s), because I prefer to promote the band actually earning from merch sales if possible.
If it is something they no longer have listed, I turn to eBay more often than not. Honestly, it is a lot of trial and error. I use reverse image search, try lots of different key words. Some bands I know have archives that fans have made, tshirtslayer those sites help me narrow down dates/albums the shirts were associated with.
I never want to share reprinted shirts unless it's from the artist. I have bought them myself, they're super easy to find, but the quality is usually bad.
Honestly a lot of it is just luck. If you're looking for something specific, my biggest rec is to put a eBay alert out for it and don't be afraid to scour larger collection posts to see if it could be in there. Depop, Grailed, and other resale sites work too but they're usually way more expensive in my experience
This is my process. A lot of my posts are missing links to buy because of this. If I stumble on a link while searching for a better picture of it/information/proof the shirt was sold at some point, I share, but it can be hit or miss with a lot the bands featured in older pictures. (Or older shirts of Patrick's. That Blue Meanies shirt took me ages and scouring fan posts on Facebook to find even a glimpse of!!)

You're right he is! I actually just rewatched that this weekend and wondered if I had made a Descendents post yet (I haven't, only mention of them is in the patch jacket post). It'll be posted shortly :)
