Thinking about aspec!Occtis and qpr!needlemancy who only start getting flack for things once Thimble gets big. Like, no one would look at the two of them twice when Thimble slept in Occtis's hair, but sharing a sleeping bag gets them suggestive looks that Occtis doesn't fully understand. Eg., person goes to witch and laments headache, they treat their headache and make a small doll (called "poppet"), trying to represent them as good as possible, stick a needle in its head and put it up a shelf. When they return next week, the witch takes their poppet and asks about their headache. If it's gone, they remove the needle, otherwise they know they have to treat a rather persistent headache.

There's something interesting in Julien bringing up Occtis to Koral while he's in his room to grab Alba's soul gem, because I don't think those two things -mentioning Occtis and Julien himself being there for Alba- are unrelated.
Julien just learned earlier this evening that it was Ethrand specifically who killed Occtis; Julien didn't get to that room in the Palazzo Davinos until after Ethrand left and Occtis was up until hearing his brother had been seen by Cyd vague about who in his family had killed him, he just said they did it generally. Occtis' murder being specifically a fratricide wasn't something Julien knew before now. And I think that new knowledge is what lead him to bring up what the family did to Occtis; his exact phrasing is: "Your family has taken nearly everything from me and has most definitely taken nearly everything away from your own brother, Occtis" (emphasis mine). He chooses, both here and later in the conversation when he states that Occtis wants him (Julien) to keep him (Koral) alive, to emphasize the sibling relationship, that it is Koral's younger brother that the family chose to murder.
And where that's related to Alba is that Julien himself is here as her brother. He wasn't intending to join the group robbing Obramus Manor until he realized the gem cursing his sister might be there. Occtis repeatedly emphasizes that he knows Julien is here for his sister far more than he is to rescue Mara. So Julien came to this place specifically looking to save the life of his beloved younger sister, learned that Occtis was murdered by a brother, and then felt the need to press Koral about it. To ask implicitly how, eldest son to eldest son, older brother to older brother, the family could do that. Especially to a sibling who still clearly has some love for them. Julien left two men to die for the sake of his sister, so I wonder if he's taking what his family and specifically siblings did to Occtis as further proof there is a deep rot at the heart of House Tachonis that he needs to cut out.
