At the beginning of 2026, I started to get interested in companies like Chica-bi and Petit Soirée. I bought two dolls from Chica-bi, along with several outfits, accessories, and wigs (I'll write a separate post about them). I should say, I've become a huge fan of Chica-bi, I really like the aesthetics of their dolls, especially their Mini41 line!

A couple of weeks ago I made my first Petit Soirée purchase. It consisted of two outfits and some accessories.

Everything arrived perfectly packaged, the dresses are really adorable and well made!

I thought my Bluefairy dolls would wear these outfits, but they're a little big on them. The dresses probably would better suit a Volks SDM or my Maskcat 42cm dolls.

Anyway, here are a couple of photos of May in Holly Hobbie style! This outfit is really lovely!

Some new photos of Delphine, my Maskcatdoll Dahlia. She has such a melancholic look, that's why I find her so adorable! I should change a few more things of her appearance, like a new pair of eyes, but silver color definitely suits her!

Hi there! Here some photos of the box opening of my Maskcat Doll Dahlia in normal skin, 42 cm body. I ordered her in December 16th 2025 and I received the parcel on April 30th. She's my third Maskcat Doll. The first one was Claire (1/4 scale), and I still regret having rehomed her! Of course, I'm already thinking about adopting Claire again...even though I would like to keep my collection small, with just a few, belowed dolls. A collection of dozens of neglected dolls is not for me!

Anyway, here is the adorable Dahlia and her box opening!

Maskcat Doll boxes are just the best around, indestructible and super beautiful!

She arrived with a default pair of glass eyes, a default wig and extra hands and heeled feet. I ordered her with company face-up (I've never been disappointed by Maskcat Doll's face-ups).

And here she is! Wearing her default wig - love it! - and a pair of acrylic eyes I own. I will probably change both the wig and the eyes quite soon (already ordered new ones through ChicaBi store), but I was too eager to show her to you! Something I hadn't noticed in the promotional photos, but Dahlia has freckles! Love!

Over the last year, there's been an incredible coming and going of dolls... well, yes, I've gone a little crazy!

The most interesting thing is that after a sort of cosmic infatuation with Volks bjd - both 1/3 and 1/4 scale dolls - I've come to the conclusion that maybe Volks aren't for me.

They're adorable, and the web is full of collectors who post wonderful photos of their dolls every day, but I'm not one for just one brand (to follow to the death!).

I rehomed all my Volks girls with two exceptions: Volks Ran and Volks Murasaki. I love them! And if I really have to own some Volks dolls in my collection, well, let it be these two!

I can't believe it's been over a year since I last updated this blog! I've been too much into social media, probably (meantime, I've also created a Bsky account, if anyone's interested...).

Now that Den of Angels is closer to closing, I thought I should move my doll stuff here, so I started posting profiles of almost all my BJD.

Soon, I should be able to complete the profiles of the Vinyl dolls and other dolls too (click on 'My Dolls' for the complete list).
