so i never win anything...

I nanny 3 kids and whenever I drive them somewhere they complain because I park real far away, passing many empty spots up close to our destination. I always tell them “God blessed us with 2 legs for walking and a healthy heart, let’s use them. We can save those spots for someone who needs them. Maybe there will be a pregnant woman or someone who hurt their leg or someone on a short lunch break who doesn’t have time to park far away like we do.” They agree and happily walk the distance. 

“It’s not about the physical exercise- or at least, it’s not only that. I’ve tried running in a gym, on a treadmill, and it’s not the same. It’s about getting out, not having walls around myself, being able to get away.”
