You walk into an alchemist's lab
You are greeted by a friendly grandma who adopted a slime she accidentally created, and is now trying to make it friends
She gives you a quest to find more materials to hopefully make another one but being an old lady she gives you a copy of her alchemy book and her homemade cookbook. She insists that the ingredients were from one book and the actual process is from the other book. She's not sure what ones she used for which. It's your job to figure out what she did.
You decide to do some reading in both books. They are written in dark ink with many little notes here or there with things like "less sugar, more lead dust" and "next time light the stove, not the alchemical ingredient heater". After a couple hours of reading you find 2 possible recipes in both books. One is called Ultimate Choclate Slime cookies and the other is called Slime Alchemy Catalyst. Both have rare ingredients, which one will you focus on and search for first?
So you decide to go looking for the ingredients for the Slime Cookies. The ingredients you need to find, that she doesn't have are; Cacoa Herbs, A particular wild grain called Frosted thorns, and a small note at the bottom says "slime from a slime that has congested gold ore and flour." So, first you get your horse and start your ride a small village about 3 or 4 days north where Cacao Herbs are harvested in the spring, hoping that they still have some, because fall is on the way.
