False Kiva, an ancient stone circle of unknown origin and purpose, sits sheltered from the elements in a hidden alcove high above the floor of Canyonlands National Park. The remote Class II archaeological site is one of the park's elusive features, omitted from all official literature, and accessed via unmarked trail near the Alcove Springs turnoff...if you can find it.
