with this being said ... please don’t let it be rafe’s love interest. we all know rafe cameron is, alongside ward, a main villain. i’d even dare to say an irredeemable one, given to the fact that he’s killed + tried to kill multiple times and hasn’t shown any sign of regret (”i shot her, but i don’t care that i did”). giving him a love interest, even though might seem interesting from a psychological perspective, will simply ruin his entire arc. even worse, knowing j*nas, he’ll maybe even try to push the “villain with a soft spot” or “villain falls in love and wants to change” storyline, when he DOESN’T need one. if rafe wasn’t played by a hot actor, there wouldn’t be multiple people online defending his actions and romanticizing him the same way they do with nate jacobs. it’s always nice to gut a character and understand their past, because everything comes from somewhere, but using it as an excuse to justify their crimes is not it. so, this is a friendly request to the showrunners, to please don’t try and push the “women are rehab centers for troubled men” agenda on rafe. he’s an amazing complex character, and there’s plenty more of him to explore without actually having to give him a girlfriend just to feed the teen audience’s dream of dating him.
