Ep3 - Arthur talks about magic

If we cut half of Dragoon's bad jokes we can have this scene you know...

It's not like, super well written, but it'd still be good to see more of Arthur's thoughts on magic and the law! Seeing him recognise that a lot of bias comes from hurt and hatred and maybe the reality isn't what they think!

I do hope that if they're going to mention Gwen's father, either of them would remember that someone's magic saved his long before he was killed for helping sorcerer... and that he wasn't killed by magic, but by the law of Camelot. That'd be more helpful in Arthur's dilemma now, no? And Gwen could also offer something more concrete for Arthur's consideration, instead of again telling Arthur to trust himself without actually having an opinion.

Ep4 - Fathers

Merlin and Arthur talk about their lost fathers!

It's so, so sweet😭Perfect timing too, after Uther's death just previous episode. Almost seem like that's the reason they put the dragon egg story here. But then it's cut, so... ?

It's rare as it is that Merlin shares with Arthur something about himself, more so in the later seasons. Their relationship in s4 starts to turn in a weird direction so it'd be really nice to show that yes they have something in common and they still talk like normal friends! They don't only talk about Camelot and traitor and destiny! I feel like in s4 that's all they talked about...

Merlin couldn't tell Arthur about Balinor at the time because the dragon attack; Arthur didn't get to talk to Merlin last episode because Merlin was busy playing Dragoon. Now they both get a chance to do that! Why would you cut that...?

Arthur's expression and voice are so soft and gentle I'm melting 🫠Another similar moment is in s3 when he tried to give advice to Merlin about fighting with father figure (the one where Gaius was being awful because he found his old lover). He is a lot better at comforting and giving advices~~ no hitting this time XD

That said, I can't decide if I want it in this episode or not. On one hand, it's about the only place they can naturally bring up Merlin's father. On the other hand, I kind of hate everyone in this episode, and the awful stew joke in this episode... so it might actually be a good thing they cut it, so I can hate this episode wholeheartedly...

Ep9 - Domestic

I love this scene with all my heart... the domesticity...

Arthur's white shirt is always worth appreciating

Merlin's being the awesome wingman that he is

I know it's his job but it makes me happy every time Merlin help Arthur put on the jacket <3
