For those struggling during quarantine

These are some tips my therapist gave me to keep my mental health from plummeting.

* go on a daily walk to create a sense of stability through a daily habit

* Make the weekends noticeably different from the weekdays so your sense of time doesn’t get too distorted

* Try to keep a semi-normal bedtime/rising time so you’re circadian rhythm doesn’t get too messed up

* Even if you’re in sweatpants or pjs all day, take some time everyday to do something to get ready as you usually would. Putting on mascara, braiding your hair, etc. anything to make you feel more like you’re normal self

Add others if you have some!! ✨

My S.O. thought he had bought salsa in a jar but it was just onion and tomato. I added jalepeno, garlic and cilantro. Next time I'll remember the lime.

In other news no one is ever happy so I guess it's up to me to be the only happy person on the planet. And I don't even have to be happy enough for everyone else. Just me.
