He appears to have worn it again at LI Who two years later, this time for a photo op (I don’t care for the rest of the costume these days but i do still love the coat and like the NotD one it looks great worn Paul-style with jeans and a scarf!)

Having said that, the one on display at the Doctor Who Experience around the same time therefore can’t have been the original, which is obvious when you look at it in detail. The buttons are different and more widely-spaced (just eyeballing it they look twice as far apart!), and it’s also a good couple of inches longer in the body between the waist seam and the bottom of the lapel, which suggests it was made for someone taller:

The velvet also looks more khaki than green.

It was at some point shown with a different waistcoat in the same style, and then with a replica in a more accurate fabric; you can see that again the buttons are different and also that where the binding matches up on the collar of the original, on the one from the DW Experience there’s a big gap, with the top buttons being placed much lower down:

The hems aren’t lined up very well, either, which definitely wouldn’t happen with a professionally-sewn piece.

I assume there must have been a few recreations in that exhibition as I doubt Bill and Pat’s costumes were still around and I believe Peter and Colin have theirs.
