can we start treating our platonic relationships with more love and care please. i feel like we dont value them as much as we should just like, as a society. i think since your friendships are the most common relationship between people, familial and romantic relationships are sort of almost treated more important. like yes ill tell you i love and appreciate you everyday yes ill cuddle with you if youre cold yes ill let you borrow my stuff, whats mine is yours yes ill play with your hair yes ill let you call me at any absurd hour of the night yes ill buy you things and take you places yes i can list hundreds of other things that "lovers" do but we dont have to be dating for me to show how much i care for you because our relationship matters just as much to me romantic or not
