Introductions Are in Order
We are New England Paranormal/Quantum Reality Investigation Inc. (NEPQRI for short). We investigate haunted locations across New England and document our findings.
My name is Johnny (24, he/they, Scorpio, embodiment of the Magician/Hermit tarot cards), and I run the investigations. I research locations, plan field visits, and spend hours reviewing footage.
The other member of the team is Trish (22, she/her, Virgo, embodiment of the Fool/Hanged Man tarot cards). She is my sister. My mother said I should include her, and I am happy to do so. She's like an overly excited golden retriever and has a lot of opinions about parallel universes. She handles the equipment and drives us to the locations.
Speaking of which, Trish and I don't agree on what paranormal entities actually are.
I believe ghosts are the spirits of the dead, though I do find the stone tape theory interesting.
Trish believes ghosts are manifestations from neighboring realities. This also explains ultraterrestrials and cryptids, according to her. Her primary motivation for joining the team is to reality shift and establish contact with someone she calls "The Library Boy."
We don't agree on that, but I support her interests!
As for our methods, we practice what I call "organic" ghost hunting. We don't use expensive electrical equipment, so we work with what we have available: dowsing rods, meditation, sensory deprivation exercises, and a Ouija board we made out of printer paper. Some may call it rudimentary. I call it resourceful.
We use our phones to record evidence.
Anyway, I thought I'd introduce us.
