tbh even though i didn't hate the first season of natla (netflix avatar the last airbender), there were some things i did not enjoy and for me the show was just an ok, a little disappointing
having said that, i will be watching the second season for two reasons, 1. i actually like the whole cast of the show, i feel like they really embody their characters and if that didn't translate well into the first season, it's bc of the script and the direction
and 2. im REALLY interested in knowing how they handle the blue spirit and the painted lady teaming up together, tho i am kind of afraid that they butcher katara's arc, but i hope they surprise me in a good way, still im keeping my expectations low

if the pitt writers don't intend to write a slow burn mel/langdon arc, then hahaha they need to go back and re-write all these scenes hahaha start over from the drawing board. guys, you're not writing friendship. you're writing romance, i'm sorry to say. these are the building blocks of a multiple-seasons-long slow burn being built before our eyes. listen, you're writing other great friendships, but these two....yeahhhh they're gonna need to fall in love to satisfy this arc
Having an hyperfixation on The Pitt may ACTUALLY be the worst thing I ever did this year because it went down like this:
- I liked Collins a lot in s1 (she's not in s2)
- I like Samira a lot as well (she won't be in s3)
- I liked the personal storylines every character had in s1 (in s2 most of them do absolutely NOTHING)
- I mostly like Robby in s1 (he's a bitch in s2 and i need him dead)
- just ROBBY in general, like this season is so robby-focused it's become SO boring to watch, i won't care that he's suicidal if he treats everyone (mostly Samira) like shit
- EVERYONE IS MEAN TO MEL (except langdon and samira)
- it just feels so underwhelming, the storylines, the patients, the characters, some of them even feel a little out of character ngl, and it's a shame bc i REALLY liked s1
the only good parts of the season were the santos-langdon conflict, mel's storyline (tho it could've played a bigger part of the season), santos-whitaker friendship, mel and langdon relationship, and like that's it (im def omitting new characters like al-hashimi and joy even though i love them)
oh yeah and i definitely won't be watching s3 (maybe only the kingdon edits)
