-well he’s pretty open in the whole. But can be reluctant when it involves feeling guilty. Doing something he knows deep down is wrong but feeling to prideful to admit his fault.

- falls apart at the seams when a woman gives attention mostly

- to many to count. But the most important Ari and Crowley. Mina and Ashton I think would have made food double dates in the future

-pretty much nothing. He doesn’t do public well. He would however always make a scene for his kids

- Adam had a busy past full of war and fighting. He’s a big softie now because that’s what he chooses to be. But always a capable fighter if he needs to be

Adam was sitting in his garden when he heard the faint click of footsteps at the front door. He had a glass of fresh lemonade in one hand while the other rested on the bench beside him. The footsteps grew louder and he could start to recognise them. Lily followed by Kylee, close together. A small smile tugged at his lips, when he saw the two blondes appear out the door. 

Lily grinned down her father, appreciating the fact he looked so content. He had certainly earnt the down time. “Hey Dad, Wheres Jill?” she asked, stepping out into the garden. Kylee followed close behind, her teddybear hanging from her hand. “Hi Grandpa” she muttered, a frown etched on to her brows.

Adam grinned at his girls and scooted along the bench to make space for Lily “She still at work sweetie, probably will be till dinner” he answered, patting the seat beside him. 

Lily gladly took the seat and watched as Kylee skipped down the path towards the vegtable patch. Searching for strawberries no doubt. “Hank said he would be late tonight, so We’ll just get take out when he does get in”

“Pizza I would assume” Adam teased, a knowing glint in his eye. 

Lily may be a young woman now, but she still shared everything she could with Adam. “Yeah probably” she chuckled. “But don’t sat it to loud or else Kylee wont eat her casserole”

Adam mimed zipping his lips and throwing away an imaginary key. “Looks like shes found what she was looking for” Adam whispered, throwing a glance towards Kylee who was knelt down amongst the veg. “How are things With Jasper know?” he asked, growing more serious,

Lily let out a heavy sigh and scooted closer to her father “They still clash a lot. I’m running out of ideas Dad. Bribing hasnt worked, threatening hasn’t worked” she rolled her eyes softly, and glance up at him. “What am I meant to do?” she grumbled. 

Adam chuckled and set his glass down, giving lily his attention properly. “Can’t help with this one I’m afraid Lily. The closest age gap between your siblings is Cinnah and Cecil, and that’s only because they are twins” he giggled at his own joke. “The next closest was Serena and Raven but that was still roughly 200 years. Luckily I never needed to deal with sibling rivalry between 2 small children” he laid his arm along the back of the bench behind her. “IF you want my opinion though” he paused and raised his eyebrow at her. 

Lily nodded eagerly and watched him. 

“I think the Crowley Genes are very strong. Jasper and Kylee both strongly take after Hank. I see you in them everyday to” he reassured breifly. “But Hank shines through. And you know as well as I, he wasn’t an easy child. Even more or a pain to get talking as an adult” he nudged her gently, to lightened the mood. 

Lily rolled her eyes at her father “Yeah I guess so. They have his stubborn attitude for sure”

“not sure its Hank they get that from” Adam chuckled. 

Lily went to answer but Kylee was returning. “Hey Grandpa, Can I take some home for Dad?” she asked. Adam raised an eyebrow “You’re dad like Strawberries huh?” he replied. Kylee shrugged her shoulders “I heard him the other day saying he’s gona try be fruiter” she explained. 

Lilys cheeks blushed a little and stiffeled a giggle “Sure you can sweetie, just grab a bag from the kitchen for them” she instructed. Once Kylee headed inside Lily explained to Adam “We had a fight the other night about not getting much couple time recently.” Adam held up his hands “Please... don’t explain anymore”.

After learning of the talents that Eve bestowed to the twins, Adam retreated in to himself. Ashamed. upset.

They will prey on the weak will of the humans. enticing them to the bedroom to feed on their very essence. Or simply using their seductive nature to corrupt and influence as I need them to.

Adam hated every second of it. Raising children, knowing they were to have countless partners but never the hope of finding true love. Dooming them to a lonely life in service to Eve. No matter how hard he tried, Cinnah was such a gentle girl. It broke Adams heart each time he was told to accompany her on tasks. A fathers role was to protect his little girl from harm. Not carry her willing into the jaws of danger and decipt. 

Another daughter he failed. 

Cecil was not such a worry. But in part he shared his sisters gentle soul. He struggled at times to carry out the harsher tasks of bedding a kings wife to envoke jealousy and war. Choosing instead to Feed from males in private, keeping it hidden from his mother with the help of Adam. Adam lept at the chance to help his son. Be a confidant and partner.

Cecil was the first to see Eves pregnancy. He had a strange knack for that. His gut instinct often whispered to him and guided his path. Adam had learnt during a siege at sea to trust Cecils gut feelings. 

He asked Eve about what she was creating next. How could he help her. She refused for a month until she finally felt the kick. Worried about a misscarrige was the reason she gave Adam for her secreacy. IT matter none to him why, just that the baby was growing healthy. 

This one will be stronger. She may feed like the twins but she wont require it to sustain her like they do. That needed fixing. a true seductress.

Eve wasn’t kidding either. She sent Adam away on a task, she knew would take some time. But he completed it in haste, eager to return for the next birth.

Serena was perfect in every way. A mess of bright red curls framed her little face, already 2 weeks old you could tell she would grow into a beauty. Very similar to her older sister. Big soft brown eyes stared up at Adam, seeing right through him. He felt naked almost. Like she was looking into his very essence. The though made him cringe. His soul was dark and edged from years of battle. He didn’t want those eyes seeing that. This daughter I wont fail!

It was getting easier. Being a Father. He had help now from his other children. Serena grew up stronger than Cinnah did. She had an air of confidence around her like a bubble. Adam liked that. He knew it would help protect her. Not her heart, but her body at least. She had Eve’s will power. Adam hoped that was a good thing. She enjoyed her tasks more than Cinnah ever did. Relishing in the challenge. But over time she began to see the beauty in humanity. Eve could see again she needed to change things. Create something driven more to destroy than to love. Love was weakening her creations...  weakening her children

Twins. Adam ran his hands across his face, feeling overwhelmed yet again. The last few decades had been filled with so much.

The pride he felt Watching his little girl grow into a strong young woman.defiant, strong willed, talented with both weapon and her own power. Raw Fire flowing in her veins. 

The dismay at the worsening relationship between her and Eve. A father could see. The doubt in her eyes when she second guessed a command or choice of her own

The secret liaisons with a human woman. An affair. Defying his creator in favour of the stolen kisses from a mortal. The very stock that Eve was waging war against. If word ever got out about his indiscretion it would be the scandal of the century!

The shock when he found out Felicia had attacked Eve. Why would she harm her. They had a strained relationship but he never imagined Felicia would cause physical harm to her mother. Over a human suitor no less. One she had known for a mere blink compare to her family. 

Heartbreak. Being given a newborn babe and ordered to be rid of it by whatever means. But choosing instead to defy Eve in secret again and entrust the newborn to the only other person he could.His mortal lover. Saying goodbye to them both in the process.

Then he was thrown into battle for what felt like decades. A conquest that shook his very core. The bodies where in the thousands. He lost track after the first few hundred. What Eve wanted, he gladly gave. Weather it was blood, sweat and tears, or satisfaction in the bedroom. He would go days at a time with no rest if that was what she demanded. He got good at it. The killing. The detachment from life. But after a while, He struggled to watch Mason become a pawn for Eve. Although his son defied their matriarch alot more than Adam. Adam gladly took the brunt of Eves anger for his son. In public they doted on one another. But in private he made sure Eves anger was directed at him and not Mason.

And now the next pregnancy. Twins no less. To bolster the numbers quickly he thought to himself.But the though was fleeting... he trusted Eve. He had to.

The birth of the twins came as a shock. Eve was only 6 months along and it was a scene that resembled war! They were at sea at the time, between continents. The morning had started with tea on the deck and spell studies with mason, but quickly descended into chaos. He was present on this occassion. If only to lend hand to the 2 maids aboard the vessel. Even in the midst of labour Eve yelled out her orders and instructions to them.

After 6 hours of grueling work, Adam was sat on the floor. Back against the wall and knees drawn up to his chest. He was a battle weary mess. Ruby red towels strewn across the room, mixed in with sweat sodden sheets. To be privy to witness such a miracle of life made him so confused. Questioning things he really shouldn’t be questioning.

I was created in her image to love and be loved by her.

Cinnah hardly made a sound since emerging in to the world. Soft mewls and grunts to simply let her presence be known. Cecil on the other hand. He hadn’t ceased his crying since coming out, 30 minutes after his sister. refusing comfort, refusing milk and not wanting to be held. But Adam didn’t give in. It wasn’t in his nature. He took Cecil out on deck, leaving Even to nurse Cinnah in peace. 

Eve rolled her eyes and pushed back a little “I assure you that this child wont be quite so.... intense” she said.  Adam nodded and wiped the sweat from his brow. “I see that training is going well” She ran a finger down the centre of his chest with a smirk. “I’m sticking to the barbaric regime you set in place, yes” Adam smirked. “Good... You’ll need to be in peak condition for the coming war” Eve instructed. Adam let out a heavy sigh and nodded again “I assure you I will”.

5 months passed in a blur yet again, between training, studying and caring for Fliss. Adam was out hunting when he felt the pull on his mind. Eve calling out to him. He dropped his chase of the large stag and rushed back to the house. Felicia was bouncing for joy in the garden when Adam made his way up the path It’s a boy, It’s a boy, It’s a boy

Adam gave her a brief kiss on her head as he rushed into the house. Eve was laying on their bed, exhausted and spent from the speed at which the baby arrived. She forced a brief smile to Adam when he come in to the room, and nodded across to the small basket. 

He was so tiny. Smaller than Fliss had been. A large curly mop of hair covering his eyes. Adam reached down to brush the curls away and watched in awe as the hair quickly shortened in length and turned a brown colour. He looked up to Eve with wide eyes He’s a shape shifter. Able to change his appearance to match those around him . Adam looked back down at his son, who was perfectly mimicking his own features in smaller form. “What will his name be?” he asked. Mason. 

Eve really didn’t waste any time in creating that family she told him she wanted. He was only 1 month old when she told him she was pregnant with their first. Adam was still to new to see the signs of betrayal already present. The speed at which She was already showing a bump. The secret meetings with a dark haired man. The reluctance to explain things to him yet. But she created him for that reason. She loved him. So Adam trusted her completely. For now.

He did his best to please her. To learn everything he needed to know, for when they welcomed their first child to the world. Although Adam didn’t know it wasn’t eves first child and it wasn’t his first either. What Adam was told and what the facts were, were vastly different.

9 (7) months went by faster than he could have imagined! He wasn’t allowed to be present at the birth. No place for a man he was told. He waited outside the room, pacing back and forth. Playing with the thread on his shirt. Ruffling his mop of brown hair. Biting his nails till they bled. Then he heard it. The soft mewling sound of a baby, stopped his pacing and his thoughts. Filled his chest with an emotion he was unfamiliar with up until that point.

The First time he saw the tiny little creature, wrapped up in blankets he couldn’t quite believe his eyes. Skin like ivory against hair as gold as the sun itself. When Adam stepped into view, Her eyes turned from murky green to a bright gold. Her skin came alive with a soft orange glow, like flame dancing over her.

Her name is Felicia, eve told him. She’s a Phoenix. Adam already knew about the Phoenix, eve had taught him what he needed to know about their baby. She was eves creation after all.

Adam took to fatherhood like a fish to water. Fliss was always calm and content in his arms. He was never far away from her and Eve during those first months. Caring for mother and daughter best he could. Often ignoring his own needs in favour of holding fliss. Singing her to sleep when she was unsettled, rocking her in his arms to ease her nervousness. He could sense that sort of thing. It’s in your nature eve explained.

Leather. That was the first thing that Adam was aware of when he woke up. The leather that was binding his ankles and wrists. His mouth was dry, like he had walked through a desert in the mid day sun, lips sticking to his teeth. Not that he knew what that felt like yet. There were hands on him, roaming his skin slowly. Appreciating. examining. And then they were gone. He slowly opened his eyes to see a tall blonde woman above him. watching him closely, waiting for him to... do what exactly he wasn’t sure. Without saying a word she untied the leather on his wrists, her fingers lingering. A brief glance up at him showed a small smirk to her lips. She ducked away and untied the straps around his ankles, and then pulled his wrists so he was sitting up. He glanced around the room, realising they were in a small cabin. He could hear birds outside, water rushing and leaves rustling in the wind. How did he know what birds sounded like? The woman perched on the edge of the table he was on, watching him intently. 

“How do you feel?” she whispered.

“I feel... ok” he answered, seeming surprised he knew how to answer at all.

“What can you remember?” the woman asked, hand warm against his chest.

A brief look down at her hand “I remember...” he trailed off and shook his head. “I don’t know... What... Who am I?” he asked, brows furrowing in thought. 

“You’re perfect” Eve whispered. “Your name is Adam” she explained. “I created you. I created you in my image” she smiled and watched him. 

Adam tilted his head at the woman “You created me? Why?” he asked.

“He really spent thousands of years like that?” Sohelia questioned, a frown on her features.

Adam nodded to her and leaned back in his chair “your father is perhaps the most loyal, defiant warrior I’ve ever met. He never gave up on saving your mother” he explained, smiling down at his granddaughter.

“Do you really think I’ll get to meet him one day?” She asked, carefully tucking a strand of her hair behind her ear.

Adam nodded vigorously “I have no doubt of that sweetheart” he assured her. “I can’t tell you when... but I truly believe he will find his way home again”

Sohelia hummed in respsone and glanced at her phone “I should get going. I have fencing lessons with Nero today” she smiled, grabbing her bag from under the table.

Adam chuckled softly and ruffled his hair “say hi for me ok? And kick his butt” he grinned.
