I'm glad to say that after a YEAR (can you believe its been a YEAR) Well yes, after a year of being away from the blogosphere... I am BACK!:) One of my goals for 2015 was to return to my blog and actually find time to keep it up to date!

A Well-Deserved Throwback to a Thursday in Paradise.

Here I am, sitting in my dorm, covered under what seems like twenty layers of clothes...and freezing, thanks to this everlasting winter.

But unlike yesterday, today i found these magical winter-break treasures.

It has been over a month ago since these piña-colada filled days and evidently, I am a thousand miles away from the place these pictures were taken. Obviously, wishing I could go back to the warmer days but patience is a virtue I want to acquire, and this weather is teaching me a very valuable lesson.

Currently missing sun stroked days and misbehaved waves...

Caribbean Living. I'm Home.

Life in the Tropics is as fun as it sounds. 85F degree weather in the beginning of January. Home really is where the heart (SUN) is. Anyways, I'm taking a short break from the cold NYC weather and embracing the warm Caribbean sun. Packing all my winter layers and exchanging the for summer crop tops and cool shades. Here's to hoping I succeed in getting a real tan while I'm here and not another sunburn!

Transparent rain boots? sir yes sir. I found myself falling into a new phase: the socks phase. What better way to emphasize this new phase then by buying some plastic boots to show what cozy, fun socks are hiding underneath?

December 24: took my little bigger brother for a new york adventure…bonded over videos, subway rides, tourist pictures and freezing weather temperatures. Stumbled upon Dylan’s Candy Bar, bought some of my new recent addictions: chocolate covered oreos. As custom, every time I go to Dylan’s I must take a photo memory home with me…

Cable Car Tales. the new hang out place.

A few weeks ago I took the Roosevelt Island Cable Car and fell in love with this strip of land. The view is simply breathtaking and the small island looked so cozy all wrapped-up in snow. I can't believe I've been living in New York for over a year and this was my first trip to Roosevelt Island. Definitely making this a hangout place.

grill master and head chef unite!

Titles are overrated. Confession: never had I Ever BBQed, let alone be in charge of one. With that said, three very unusual things occurred that night:

I was, in fact, BBQing and grilling burgers.

We made veggie burgers.

fur the love of winter. a sneak peak from a recent photo shoot and how I'm gonna make it in florida...or not.

In the middle of finals week, came a glimpse of hope.

I was asked by a close college friend to appear in her next magazine article: a pop of color in winter fashion. the above images were taken by her and will be used in her next magazine article which will be published in Florida! As always, I am more than thrilled to collaborate with her and share her success (More on that the article when it gets published!)

Before stating the obvious snowfall, I must confess: I love the inconvenience of the weather. How we all must adapt to it and how no one can change it. With that said, it's two days before Santa Con and we're getting snowed in. Talk about magic in December.
