Ok yall so I had a thought and it is half fueled by My own selfish desires very happy to admit that BUT I still think it’s smart asf
So I am an EXPERIENCED pirater and if We want to pirate dummy crown in order for there to be a good copy We would have to wait a month or so atleast cause it’s not a straight to stream film.
It drops March 5th 2027. We will have atleast 3-6 months of the theatrical version with it being available for streaming via Amazon prime probably by beginning to mid summer 2027 maybe maybe tail end of summer going into fall 2027
I personally don’t wanna wait that fucking long. I personally don’t wanna wait any amount of time to watch it. I genuinely wanna see it when it comes out and I want Us all to see it too. In the theaters come opening day, weekend , and week.
To complain about it. Loudly. Publicly. Every chance you get. Talk about how it specifically would have been better with a Black Woman as the female lead. That needs to be what EVERYONE is saying about the film cause the only way We can attempt to change some shit is by doing what’s within Our power to make said change happen.
Encourage others to go see it but preface it with ‘I wish it was a Black Woman as the lead’ and no matter how good or bad the film is, walk out of that theater saying ‘the female lead should have been a Black Woman’ or ‘that would have been better with a Black Woman’ Blast socials with this same rhetoric. Have conversations about it with random strangers. Don’t shut up about it. Bring it up at every chance you get if the film is brought up hell bring that shit up yourself. SPEAK ON IT is the point.
I promise you people will start parroting and soon enough it will be the ONLY thing people say about the film which is exactly what We want. We have like 7 months to run this up before the film actually drops so get to work if yall really as upset as you claim to be 👌🏾
I know what voices do. And I know the power the Our voices hold as Black Women.

Also like if We want him to make more movies We do have to spend money on them kinda how it works you guys like actors are just glamorized starving artists until they reach a certain point financially and it takes most YEARS to get there. There’s a reason some actors and artists STAY working when they no longer do their main thing think Whoopi on the view and Jennifer Hudson’s talk show 😂
This issue actually don’t got shit to do with him. I would still be mad if it was any other Black man. Hell I was irritated watching Lucky seeing a queer dark skin Black actress finally be in what seems like a relationship with a Woman and the Woman was fucking lightskin like the issue is with Hollywood itself and the way it decides to portray Us that does indeed influence the masses.
And you still don’t have to see it! If you feel like that would be a better protest for you I highly encourage taking whatever action you desire to say your piece about the film in the defense of Black Women
I know I wanna see the film and will continue to be very very very very vocal about how My feelings towards the film
