Ideally we would like this gorgeous wee dragon and the beginnings of their dice hoard to go to a member of the Bi community. There’s no way we can realistically police this (and I have no intention of trying to police people’s orientation), so all we’re doing is asking and relying on folks to be honest about their intentions while entering. We also don’t want folks who aren’t out to be excluded. So entry will be by private message only, and we will only be announcing the winners name with their express permission, otherwise we will simply announce that there is a winner. We’ll be picking a winner around the the end of Feb.

If you’re in a country that may have issues with shipping (NZ, Australia, US, and the EU are usually fine), please let us know and we’ll see if there’s a way we can sort it out. I can’t promise we can get a parcel absolutely everywhere but we’ll do our best. We will be covering shipping to most places as we normally do with giveaways. If the parcel is going to somewhere super expensive to ship to we may have to work something out, it’s never been a problem before though.

It’s our hope to do a giveaway to celebrate each pride design we release. I can’t speak for the far future, but for the moment there’s more giveaways to come.

I am currently a Research Assistant at University of the West of England in Bristol. I’m conducting research exploring pansexual and panromantic people’s experiences and understandings of pansexuality. I am hoping to give voice to pansexual and panromantic people, and expand the general understanding of pansexual/panromantic identities.

I’m really fucking pissed so I’m gonna make this thingy to help me calm down and to educate some of y'all who are uncultured swine.

Pansexuality means you engage in sexual activities with everything. I’ve seen people say that pansexuality means you fuck objects (pans is a common one) fuck children (as in pansexuals are pedophiles), fuck your relatives (as in pansexuals engage in incest), fuck animals (bestiality and zoosexual or whatever you wanna call it) among other things. Pansexuality at its core has to do with gender, nothing else. It means attracted to all GENDERS, not everything and everyone you see.

Which leads me to my next point: pansexuals like everybody they see. No. Just no. Pansexuals have preferences and standards like everyone else. Don’t reduce us to something like that.

Pansexuality is just “SJW bullshit” and it’s “the same as bisexuality but for people who want to feel special. ” First of all, this implies there are only two gender which contradicts one of the points I’ll make later on about transphobia. Second of all, they aren’t the same. Some bisexual people say bisexual just means more than one gender which means they could love more than two. And I’m fine with that, people can label themselves how they want and present themselves how they want. But using the definitions and using the usual meaning of The two words, bisexual is attracted to two genders (bi meaning “two”) and pansexual being attracted to ALL genders (pan meaning “all”. ) They’re not the same.

Pansexuality is inherently transphobic. I didn’t understand this at first, but apparently, the only genders are man and woman and, of course, trans people fit under one of these two labels. So saying pan isn’t bi is saying trans people aren’t the gender they are. Which is stupid. And completely disregards other genders on the trans spectrum, as well as intersex people. So they are contradicting themselves by trying to be supportive of trans people but really everyone knows they just want to shit on pan people. They don’t actually care about trans, bi or pan people, just want to be assholes.

Pansexual people are likely to cheat, are whores and probably have an STI. This is downright stupid, because it implies that because people are capable of loving all genders that automatically they sleep around and cheat. PLENTY or straight people sleep around and have an STI, and plenty of pan people are committed to one person for a lifetime. This just doesn’t make sense.

This one is a bit controversial but I feel like it’s something I need to say: pansexuality means you are “gender blind.” Let me explain: even though bi people like both men and women, they can still prefer one over the other. And nowhere in the defintion or pansexuality does it say you have to be attracted all genders equally. Some people say what I feel like is omnisexual, but I feel like thats just something that falls under the pan spectrum if that were to exist. I’m not gender blind, as they say, but I feel attracted to all genders. I just have a preference for girls and then guys and THEN other. I love the whole “hearts not parts” thing and all that, but some people don’t understand that you can Jaffe a gender preference and still be pan. Pan is a label that I feel right with, and fits what I feel. I really don’t think you need to completely disregard gender when it comes to attraction when you are pan. Thats not what the definition is to me.

If you are writing me to say that intersexual folks shouldn’t be included in LGBTQIA+ …

If you are writing me to say that queer identities shouldn’t be included in LGBTQIA+ …

If you are writing me to say that transgender folks shouldn’t be included in LGBTQIA+ … 

WHY? Because LGBTQIA+ represents a community of people who are marginalized and oppressed because of their gender or sexuality.

YES I KNOW that transgender is gender while L/G/B/A are sexualities, although queer can refer to both.

YES I KNOW that intersexuality is a variety of conditions affecting a variety of aspects of a person - sexual organs, reproduction, hormones - which can affect gender identity but is different in many ways from the other letters.

YES I KNOW that some A and I and T people don’t feel that their group belongs in the LGBTQIA+ group.

I ALSO KNOW THAT BY A HUGE MARGIN, I GET MORE HURT MESSAGES WHEN I IGNORE/MARGINALIZE A GROUP THAN ANGRY MESSAGES WHEN I DO INCLUDE ONE.

Uh, because Laverne would probably agree, and intersectional folks can address two issues at the same time?
