Nothing is funnier than Finnick realizing he is going to have to save Katniss AND Peeta

katniss: everyone’s so focused on protecting peeta because they too know how pure hearted he is and believe that he—a boy they’ve never even met before—deserves to survive over them and their friends of literal decades

one of my favorite parts of the hunger games book is when peeta is like, "what good will hand-to-hand combat and strength be in the games" and katniss just looks at him like:

Peeta: A lot of guys like her.

Peeta: Brought you some cheese buns to snack on while we work on your plant book.

I’m sorry but the funniest thing Katniss Everdeen has ever done is assume the other Victors were trying to protect Peeta simply because they also knew he was the most pure-hearted and deserving person to win the Quell!
