PANDEMONIA

Hi! My name is Zobra or Zo for short, and I am going to be logging my progress and development for my comic Pandemonia.

First, an introduction to the world. It is based around an earth sometime in the future that has been affected by “The three beginnings” a series of three cataclysmic events that have fundamentally changed the world as we know it.

The first was a global economic collapse leading to wars and power grabs around the world, including the US. After a civil war led to country wide devastation, a megacorp named Elekto is tasked with reconstruction. In the process they develop a method to create vampires, leading to them becoming the dominant power in the US and Canada, and for all intents and purposes becoming the rulers of North America.

With this first shift in the veil of reality a second one occurred. Creatures from myth begin popping up all over the world, from dragons, to fairies to goblins and the like. The worst affected area became the Sub-Saharan countries in Africa, where massive unknown creatures appeared and wiped many major cities off the map, and any resource extraction effectively impossible. With monsters capable of ripping planes from the sky and ships from the sea, global trade markets broke down and resources wars began in America between Elekto and resistance movements from South American coalitions as well as internal rebellions.

Adelmira is the non-binary child of Lazarus A. Moore, the tower lord of Elekto. A powerful vampire, Adelmira lived a life of luxury few could imagine, but as they were not a vampire themselves, not yet, they were trapped in a place full of monsters and people who could care less about them. They were lonely, grasping and searching for anything to hold on to and love them, and that’s when they met their Goddess, though they wouldn’t know her name, they knew her warmth and her soft words. For the first time Adelmira felt cherished. They became more outgoing, and even managed to befriend a few of their vampiric bodyguards, but on the eve of their 21st birthday, their father told them they’d go through the process to become a vampire, a process that would surely cut them off from their connection to their Goddess. Between their life as a caged heir and the prospect of losing their connection to the first person to ever show them love, Adelmira ran away, with their bodyguards hot on their tail. Though it will be difficult to find freedom, with help from some new friends, they seek a place to belong.

Little is known about Rossyann, her age, her origins and even her true name are a mystery, but one things she makes very clear is her love of “Fun”. She is someone who tries to find joy and fun everywhere, be it entertaining others with fun tricks, jokes, antics, and strong right hooks to the face. Yes while she finds immense happiness from making others have fun, she finds the most enjoyment from a good fight, and she’ll challenge the gods themselves if they were up to it. Right now she’s traveling with the funnest person she knows, her girlfriend Lucy, and a runaway she met in an Elekto tower city. Though they might find trouble along the way, she’ll find a way to make it fun for herself and her friends.
