Point two: The boys can be any age you want in your fics, they don’t have to be teens.  You grew up, why shouldn’t they?

Point three: Anyone who shames you for your crushes is an asshat and and why the heck would you value their opinion?  DO NOT let anyone shame you for liking what you like, or feeling what you feel.  EVER.

Point four: The boys, sadly, are fictional characters.  They cannot be harmed by anyone’s writings.

Point five: Writing about something is not the same as condoning it: otherwise we’d have to lock up all of the mystery and horror writers: Stephen King, Anne Rice, etc…

The TMNT boys have been blessed with creators and writers who have developed them into well-rounded, three dimensional characters, with a great many admirable traits, and being attracted to them is completely understandable.  I commend you for your exceptionally good taste! Please don’t let some judgemental twit spoil your enjoyment of the TMNT fandom, or stop you from continuing to write your fics.

Yup, but characters individually are pretty much cool tho. Tokoyami and Jirou are my favorites bc of the goth aesthetics.

Cellophane (Hanta Sero)

He lets Mina fix his hair and now all the girls won’t stop coming into his DM’s after the little change. Hanta grows a couple inches, but the change isn’t major. He goes to Mexico one time to help their pro-heroes out in a cultural exchange program, and that’s where he picks up Spanish. He likes imported beers thanks to his travels. On an unrelated note, he’s surprisingly very popular, nationally and internationally, on Instagram because of the pictures he takes while using his quirk to dangle off buildings and canyons. Always captions his photos with “don’t try this at home. I’m a professional and my quirk does all the work.” (For some reason, half the fandom cannons Hanta as Hispanic. I don’t know why, but I can work with it.)

Ingenium (Tenya Iida)

He’s already the tallest in his class and built like a brick house, so there isn’t much change physically. He grows about 2-3 inches. By his mid-twenties, Tenya is a pro-hero, following in his family’s footsteps. For some reason, I feel like he would be more into sports after he graduates from high school. He doesn’t have to worry about homework, so he takes the spare time he has when not saving people and stopping criminals to get into sports. For some reason, I think he would be good at basketball. He plays a lot of charity games where the money goes to either children’s services like hospitals or foster care or goes to medical research and physical therapy for handicapped/wheelchair-bound people. Later in life, he does visits Stain in prison. While they’re still on the opposite sides of justice, Tenya gets some closure and recognizes that his revenge plot was unheroic and stupid and Stain then sees Tenya as a proper hero. Tenya doesn’t drink.
