I made a kitbash/conversion based on the Lieutenant Titus figure, to be a Captain for my Warders of the Emperor's Heart killteam. I've used parts from various other Space Marine kits, as well as a sword from a Paragon Warsuit and an eagle from the Heresy Legion Command upgrade pack (thank you for identifying it @beautifulmonstersandbastards!) The original killteam was a project from 3 years ago, again quite heavily kitbashed to make them unique. I've written a blog on my site about the project if you'd like to read it

I was kindly sent a few Highlands Miniatures Dwarven Slayer figures by licensed retailer Tango Down Gaming (for whom I've done several commissions over the years), so I had fun painting up this Troll Slayer this week. They each come with a larger scenic base (some are a quite elaborate mini-diorama style) and a smaller base if you want them as a gaming piece - wouldn't be too hard to magnetise the feet for easy swaps. A fresh photo of my Space Crusade Chaos Dreadnoughts that I stripped and repainted a few years ago, with a cool sci fi industrial backdrop from one of my Jon Hodgson book collection. These are part of my original Space Crusade set that I have had since I was a teenager, which I have gradually been repainting in between projects - I have the Orks, Gretchin, Genestealers and Androids left to do. The Dreadnoughts are pulling extra duty as Killbots in Stargrave, and as elite mechas in Xenos Rampant, hence the Mars textured bases!

I'm running Frostgrave games at the Bristol Independent Gaming Demo Day tomorrow afternoon, so while I had the minis out, I thought I'd take some warband shots with Jon Hodgson winter backdrops

A set of Blood Angels for a regular client. We settled on a rose gold look with black face masks for the Sanguinary Guard for something unusual. Terminators are still some of my favourite figures, even having not played 40k since 5th edition - always nice to get the chance to paint them!

Following on from the American Civil War Epic Battle scale Union army, here are (most of) the Confederates in true 15mm Still 5 infantry and 3 Zouave regiments to go, but as you may well understand, I need a break from tiny ranks! So I'm going to complete a smallish Blood Angels project for another client and loop back to these in a week or so...
