- frank is stern most of the time and will scold peter if he’s doing things he’s not supposed to do,, but he’s very light about it compared to before he knew peter regressed (and before he got attached to the damn kid) because he doesn’t want to frighten or upset the kid but he Cannot let peter eat a blue crayon!!!!

- will scoop peter up like a misbehaving kitten and laugh at him when he starts wriggling,,,

- calls peter various nicknames,,, petey, little guy, little man, little dude, bud/buddy, kid/kiddo, pups, spider monkey, spidey, troublemaker, webs, parker, parks, teeny, baby, bubba… daffodil and very playful will call him a little dum dum,,,

- meanwhile peter calls him frankie, mr castle, dada/dad, pa/papa, bubby.. and really any and everything…

- frank is very very very very protective of peter,,, especially after the events in bnd? oh yeah.. he has this kid nearby at all times. he tries to hide how badly he worries at times, but peter catches him tearing up or notices frank holding his hand just a tad tighter.. or he is hovering just a bit more closely..

- frank scoffs at peter when he acts sassy to him and the two will playfully argue… it’s mostly peter babbling childishly while frank pretends to be offended and replies back with equally childish words just to see peter laugh

- frank teases peter a lot and peter will always hide in his hands or bury his face in whatever is nearby,, like frank’s shoulder,, frank always laughs lightly at that and will playfully and gently pry him away asking to see his face,,, he calls him the shyest boy in all of new york

- peter loooves to climb and crawl around especially at the park and just in general! frank calls him his little spider monkey once,, and after that it just stuck,, now he will buy peter monkey plushies and banana treats and snacks,, even got him a monkey hoodie and beanie with tassels!!

- always getting pizza for dinner or lunch and frank helps peter eat it because he can be a bit of a messy eater,,, he also gets ice cream and bagels with him a lot too!! oh and soda floats.. they go to diners too!! but peter does like eating at frank’s or his apartment a bit more..

- always playfully and gently tussling with peter,, gives him big kisses to his forehead and letting out playful grows,, always chasing peter around his place and if peter is a bit older the kid will crawl up the wall and stay up there giggling so sweetly while frank is jumping trying to grab him,,, ‘ cmere ya little rascal!! using powers ain’t fair!! ‘

- at first frank is hesitant and a cranky around peter but one day he finds peter sitting on the floor of his apartment crying and mumbling about how he misses his aunt and chewing his sleeve and he has a headache and he hasn’t ate,,,, it’s a lot. and frank just stares at him with the softest eyes,, it makes him think about how he misses his own family and it makes that parental thinking kick in quick,, he just sits next to peter and very quietly asks what’s wrong,, next thing he knows peter is shyly clinging to him and crying and ohhh gosh if that doesn’t make something in frank’s chest squeeze,, he comforts him and after that if peter is with frank he’s like his little shadow just following him around and it soon becomes a routine of them being together..

- when frank first gives peter a compliment or praise.. peter’s eyes well up with tears behind his mask and he lets out the faintest sob and frank just stares at him and cocks his head to the side asking if he’s ok,,, and he isn’t. peter hasn’t heard any nice words in so long… not since his aunt and the spell really.. it makes him feel tiny immediately and frank just sighs and scratches at his masked head,, saying he means it and that peter is a good kid.. and that if he needs to hear it constantly he’s glad to provide!

- frank now just gives peter compliments and praise constantly and gives him high fives and fist bumps… peter also convinces frank to learn a handshake he created just for them!! frank messes it up constantly but peter just lets out the happiest giggles regardless!!

- sometimes peter will be out on missions and frank will just trail along because he just really worries,,, even if he’s not a big help he still goes and if peter says he can go alone he just asks to make sure he’s safe and he has a curfew / needs to at least update him in case he needs help.. and peter will just nod and act all playfully dramatic about all the little rules… frank will just give a little hair ruffle to him and mumbles a little ‘ that’s my boy ‘ (he still is nearby secretly or just at his place looking at the spidey tracker the whole time but shh don’t tell the kid..)

- peter loves video games!!! he always ask frank to play,, he does giggle at how frank doesn’t understand some of them,, peter’s favorites are fortnite, minecraft, animal crossing, any paw patrol game… any lego game… roblox where he plays obbys and adopt me. he even makes frank make an account for these games and peter just snuggles up to him and they will play for hoooouuurs.. he’s a certified ipad kid /pos!!!!

- speaking of legos, he always will run over to frank and show him all things legos.. new sets.. videos unboxing sets.. stop motions.. it’s one of his special interests and frank is happy to indulge him.. buying him legos and taking him to the store in time square to look,, he gets peter big lego sets and also the lego duplo sets… peter mostly collects the star wars ones and the bluey ones!!

- peter is neurodivergent (my headcanon) and his stims are very obvious.. shaking his head.. flapping hands.. stomping and kicking.. echololia.. humming… frank always smiles when he hears peter stomping or sees him flapping because it means he’s happy.. he has a little sensory corner in peter’s room with a swing and mini trampoline and lights… he also has noise cancelling headphones, loops, fidgets, chewelry, weighted blankets all for peter…

- peter also has bad chronic pain…. add on the fact he’s a superhero? yeah.. not a good combo. luckily frank is prepared for all of that.. has all his medicines in a cabinet and ice packs.. heating pads… antibiotics…first aid kits.. and if peter ever needs mobility aids he’s quick to get them for him…

- now..if peter does harmful stims frank is extremely quick to redirect him and let’s peter bat at him chest or throw pillows.. or smash a duplo tower… all while talking in the softest voice imaginable

- if peter is sick frank will be by his side 24/7.. it makes him worried,,, especially after the events of bnd and makes guilt and fear swirl in his chest.. he is checking on peter constantly and making him take sips of water and eat crackers and is checking his blood sugar and his temperature…. frank just wants his boy to be ok…

- time square walks where peter stops and excitedly jumps when he sees stores or toys he likes and frank just sighs loudly and tries to drag him away until he just gives in and goes inside.. ends up buying two things everytime…

- plays outside with peter a lot.. basketball or soccer or just running around.... if they are at the park, peter always makes frank go with him on the slide and push him on the swings.. he is Very hyper at times but frank wouldn’t have it any other way…

- peter is also a sensitive, weepy boy and cries easily and gets sad a lot and suffers with ptsd and will hide in his room or stay at his apartment for days at a time and frank will go over and check on him (he has a key peter gave him) and he brings things from his place and will just watch peter for a while until he’s better,,, just quietly petting his hair and mumbling to him,,

- frank gives the tightest hugs and peter likes that so so so much because it’s grounding!! they call it teddy bear hugs!!

- plays action figures with frank and they got quite the storylines and get very into it… one time daredevil went to speak with frank and found him sitting on the floor with peter, making their action figures fight and frank was letting peter win and was playfully wailing.. the way he freezes when he sees matt… ‘ playing toys, huh frank? ‘ ‘ aye shut your mouth, red… s’nothing.. ‘

- matt can babysit sometimes.. but everytime frank will be hovering and hesitant to leave and matt just laughs and calls him a protective papa bear…

- peter loves loves loves to watch star wars, action movies, paw patrol, octonauts, scooby doo and spongebob with frank!! on bad days where he needs background noise to sleep frank will put paw patrol on a low volume on the tv so peter can fall asleep seeing his favorite pups!

- speaking of paw patrol, peter has got like.. so much merch.. frank even has a matching shirt and has a favorite (rubble) but shhh don’t tell ok it would ruin his reputation /lh

- frank dresses peter in cargo shorts and shirts with superheroes and paw patrol and spongebob and whatever else peter likes… gets him cool shoes like light up sneakers and a pair converse and crocs!! frank also has him wear a chewelry necklace at all times,,,, peter also has two bracelets he made with frank on at all times!! he will cry if he doesn’t have them,,,

- frank takes peter to build a bear and he picks out either a classic brown bear or a monkey and frank puts a voice box of him saying ‘ love ya little guy….big hugs from frankie ‘ and peter is just giggling happily,, he picks out an outfit for his bear too! peter ends up carrying it around at all times… and when he’s back at his apartment and alone he will squeeze its paw and just quietly giggle hearing frank’s voice…

- peter loves to doodle and color he can be found at any hour of the day (besides bedtime but sometimes he does secretly) coloring and doodling… makes a drawing of frank with him and frank puts it up on the fridge.. yes he looks at it a lot.. no he definitely doesn’t fights back tears sometimes when he sees… shut up.. /lh

- frank loves taking pictures of peter and doing photo booths… he keeps most of them in a photo album.. one is in his wallet and the rest are on his fridge.. peter also has some in frames at his apartment,, on his nightstand and his fridge

- peter loves doing worksheets so frank gets him kiddy workbooks or prints out worksheets he had matt help him find online,,, oh! and when / if peter goes to college he’s quick to show frank his good grades and tell him all about his day,, frank immediately ruffles his hair and is so freaking proud!! ‘ ayeee! that’s my boy!! great job, kid! ‘

- peter sometimes has nightmares so he will walk to frank’s room and just stand there.. blanket wrapped around himself.. teddy bear in hand.. sniffling.. frank wakes up right away because he is so hyper aware of every little sound and when he sees peter? gosh.. his heart always breaks and always always frowns. he lets peter stay with him and peter latches onto him immediately and falls asleep while frank just rubs circles on his back and hums,,,,

- boy oh boy does peter love peekaboo and hide and seek… will run away and hide and frank just calls out for him in the most playful tone ever… and peter is a giggling little mess so fast. frank sometimes will act like he is so stumped and cannot find peter which makes said kiddo pop out with the brightest smile saying he’s right here,,,,,

- frank gets peter a kid drum set and encourages peter to play it and he always nods his head along like it’s the best rock song / beat ever!! he even records him and sends it to matt.. he is a very proud papa!!

- when peter is tinier.. frank is the softest and gentlest he’s ever ever been. he is swaddling up peter, feeding him warm milk in a bottle or sippy cup, rocking him, playing with blocks or reading him stories… and he of course has a paci for him with a little spider symbol on it.. he will make a makeshift crib for peter too!

- sometimes frank is not in the best headspace and he tries his hardest not to be like that around peter, especially when peter is tiny. but peter is the biggest, biggest sweetheart and he’s quick to drop whatever toys he’s playing with to walk over and cuddle up to his papa and he repeats the kind words frank tells him… and.. yeah.. frank does tear up which makes peter sit up and ask if he’s ok.. and geez.. how did frank end up with such a sweet pup.. ‘ i’m more than fine, kid… it’s just happy tears… just don’t tell anyone, ‘kay? ‘

- frank makes holidays and birthdays incredibly memorable and special for peter and peter is so grateful for that.. it reminds him of aunt may who would surprise him every holiday with something magical. frank’s favorite is halloween while peter loves christmas!! also frank gives peter a yes day for his birthday and it is always so fun and special..

- when it’s cold out? frank has his entire place warmer and makes herbal tea or hot cocoa.. obviously with a thousand marshmallows per peter’s request,,, bundling up peter with a scarf, a hat, huge fuzzy socks, a sweater, gloves, another hat…. and then when it’s the opposite? he has the air nice and cool and has popsicles and ice cream and always makes sure peter has ice water in his sippy cup.. and if they go out he applies sunblock on peter and gives him a little pair of sunglasses!!

- frank ends up clearing up a room in his place for peter and when he tells peter he can stay over whenever he wants and shows him the little room.. peter runs to frank and hugs him so tight and is babbling and crying saying thank you over and over,,, lets peter decorate however he wishes. puts a bookshelf.. a tv… dresser for his clothes… a blue carpet.. it is surprisingly cozy! he also has a pet bed for peter because the tiny loves floor time!!

- gets peter so many toys.. especially squeaky toys and rope toys and balls.. my goodness does peter love to play tug of war, shaking his head and growling like a puppy while frank very lightly tugs the toy toward himself..

- little puppy parker loves head pets and scratches and ear pets and chin scratches.. playing fetch… pouncing at frank… chomping at him… he is very mischievous hehe.. and frank loves that, he is the biggest puppy parker fan!!!!
