Everything had started at the beginning of the semester, when Jessica's new roommate, Alexis, had somehow convinced her to - as a way of bonding - give up her most embarrassing secret. Jessica had hesitated, hemming and hawing for a few minutes before finally confessing that, sometimes, after getting drunk, she would pee herself.

She'd expected Alexis to make fun of her, but instead, the girl told her that she had the same problem from time to time, and suggested that maybe they should buy some diapers and agree to put the other in one of them if they thought they were too far gone, to keep from having to do extra laundry if they didn't have to. Jessica had agreed, assuming it was a joke until Alexis returned to their dorm room one day with a package of adult diapers.

She was starting to wonder if Alexis had even been telling the truth, or had just piggybacked off Jessica's blushing admission to keep from saying anything herself. As far as Jessica could tell, the girl didn't drink, or, if she did, Jessica had never caught her... Alexis, on the other hand, always seemed to know when Jessica had downed as much as one can of beer, and no matter how many times Jessica told her she would be fine, she always insisted on diapering her, and keeping her that way for 24 hours, 'just to be safe'.

Luckily, Jessica confined her drinking to the weekends - especially once she realized Alexis was serious - so she could spend the next day hiding out in their room, snacking on whatever leftovers they had in their mini-fridge. Sometimes she would risk running to the bathroom when she had to go, but if it sounded like there were too many people out in the hall, she would have to pee in her diaper and let Alexis change her, berating her about how this proved Jessica needed her protection, even though she had done it on purpose, and not because of a drink or two the night before.

What happened was probably inevitable... Jessica had never really thought about it - she was a college student, why would she? - but once she felt the rumbling in her tummy, it seemed obvious. "Come on, please," she groaned. "It's been long enough... Just let me change into my real panties! I can't go out there like this..."

"I don't know," Alexis shrugged. "It's better safe than sorry... But, I'll tell you what: if you make it to the bathroom and back, then I think we can assume you're ready for your big girl undies."

Jessica had grumbled, but her roomie clearly wasn't budging, and she had already been waiting too long, hoping she could make it to that magical 24 hour mark. "Fine," she huffed, stomping over to the door. Thankfully, the hall sounded relatively quiet, so she pushed the door open, peeked out, then began to hurry to the bathroom.

If she hadn't been so desperate, maybe she would have changed into some different pants before making the trek, since she had to reach down every few steps as her shorts slid down over the slick plastic of her diaper, threatening to reveal them. If she hadn't been so freaked out at what she was doing, she would have kept going, trusting that the two girls who spilled out of one of the doors into the hall ahead of her wouldn't notice her slightly wider gait, or hear the plastic rustle she made with every step.

Instead, when she saw the door open, she darted to another door, a plain, wooden one, not white like the regular dorm rooms. She'd always assumed it went to a janitor's closet, and she was right, although it wasn't quite what she'd pictured. Instead of a room for her to duck into, there were just some shelves of supplies... She bit her bottom lip, cowering behind the door, hoping the girls would go the other way down the hall, or into another room, just somewhere away from her...

But their voices only got louder, and louder... Jessica finally dared to back away from her hiding spot, without having realized her shorts had slid all the way down around her ankles, not until her feet got tangled up in them and she fell back onto her padded bottom with a jolt. She gasped once, then again as she felt something strange, warm, and slimy ooze into the seat of her pants. She tried to scramble up to her feet, but things got worse from there, as soon as her body lifted off the floor, and she let out an involuntary grunt.
