"Yes," MM says. "High-risk for having your future destroyed because you didn't have the tools to help you see beyond—this." He motions around. "All this violence changes you. And you're just a kid, you deserve a chance to get back on the right path for whatever future you want for yourself."

It's almost funny, Ryan thinks. Beyond violence. Future. Path. What you want. "Everything about me is violent."
