If only I knew that such thing as Slytherclaw existed I would have felt so much less confused which one to pick.

1st Grade Teacher: The Natives taught us to grow crops and we all had thanksgiving! â¨
6th Grade: we might have kicked the Natives off their land, and for that we are so sorry.â¨
Me: but did you mur-â¨
Teacher: youâll learn that in high schoolâ¨
12th grade: We killed that one Native and we are so sorry, but the BUFFALOS, WE WERE DICKS FOR THAT!!â¨
College: It was genocide.

âI canât afford to hate anyone, I donât have that kind of time.â

An under appreciated look - when youâve taken off all of your makeup and your lips are slightly tinted and puffed, your eyes a little downcast, and you look like a high class french courtesan recovering from a tryst with the crowns secrets in her heart

greeks:
homer:
âthe fates have given mortals hearts that can endure.â

Morning Habits Worth Starting (Especially for College)
Give yourself enough time to get ready before you have to leave in the morning. For me this means setting my alarm about an hour before the time that I have to get my foot out the door. Eat a proper breakfast, do a little stretching, figure out your plan for the day. Having a slower paced morning is a lot more relaxing, and you can get your day started correctly.
Drink water first thing. I used to be a pretty heavy coffee drinker in the mornings in high school, but I realized that I could get away with a lot less caffeine if I started my morning off with a nice glass of cold water. Youâre probably dehydrated after sleeping and water helps wake you up.Â
Make your bed. Making your bed is a visual reminder that sleeping time is over and that itâs time to get up! If I have a messy bed, I want to climb in and snuggle back into my blankets. This is especially true in the winters when itâs cold and dark. The movement also helps you wake up, which brings me to my next point:
Move! Your! Body! You donât necessarily have to run through an entire yoga routine or go for a run (but hey, props to you if you do), but getting some movement in your mornings will help you wake up. I like to stretch a little bit, warm up my joints, maybe loosen up my limbs. It helps to get your blood flowing.Â
Open your curtains. In the winter it might be kind of dark and depressing where you live, so this isnât always something recommended. I like to open my curtains when itâs sunny out so I can get some natural light, which helps your circadian rhythm so you wake up better - and fall asleep at night better.Â
Do something productive before your class begins. If your first class is super early, this might not apply. But I find it tremendously helpful to get something done, whether it be a flash card set, a work out, or a load of laundry, before my first class. Itâll get you into a productive mood for the rest of the day, and even if you arenât productive for whatever reason, you can go to sleep knowing that at least you got something done that day!

What happens once you kill yourself? Because I'm ready to go.
You wanna know what happens once you kill yourself? Your mother comes home from work and finds her baby dead and she screams and runs over to you and tries to get you to wake up but you wonât and she keeps screaming and shaking you and her tears are dripping onto your face and your dad hears all the screaming and runs into the room and he canât even speak because the child that he loved and the child that he watched grow up is gone forever and finally your little sister runs into the room to see what all the fuss is about and she sees you dead. The person she looked up to and loved. The person she bragged about to  her friends, the person she wanted to be just like when she grew up, the person that made her feel safe. But sheâs never really going to get to grow up and smile and laugh and love because sheâll always be consumed with this feeling of missing you. And now thereâs something missing from your family and they can barely look at each other anymore because everything reminds them of you but youâre gone and hurts more than anything. and you think that your mom never cared because she was always busy and yelling at you to finish your homework and clean your room and forgot to say I love you sometimes but really, she loved you more than anything and she doesnât leave the house anymore, she canât even get out of bed and sheâs getting thinner and thinner because itâs too hard to eat. Your father had to quit his job and he doesnât sleep anymore, every time he closes his eyes he sees his baby dead, and the image never goes away no matter how much alcohol he drinks. And at school your best friend sees that your seat is empty and she gets this sick feeling in her stomach and thatâs when she hears the announcement. You killed yourself. And suddenly sheâs screaming and crying in the middle of class and no one even bothers comforting because theyâre all  busy sitting there staring at your empty seat with tears dripping down their cheeks and all she wants is for you to hug her and tell her itâs gonna be okay like you always did, but this time, youâre not there to do it, everything is dark now that youâre gone and her grades are slipping, she barely goes to school anymore and she ended up in hospital after taking too many pills because she wanted to see you again. the girls who used to make fun of the way you dressed feel their throats get tight, they donât talk to each other anymore, they donât talk to anyone, theyâre all in therapy trying so hard not to blame themselves but nothing works. and your teacher who always gave you a hard time stares blankly at the wall, she quits her job a few days later. And then your boyfriend hears the news and he canât breathe, he still calls you a lot just to hear your voice and he talks to you on facebook but you never message him back, he canât fall in love again because every girl he meets reminds him of you, heâs never going to get over you, he loved you and he cries himself to sleep every night, hating himself and slicing his skin because he couldnât save you and heâs never going to hold you in his arms or hear you laugh again. Now everyone who knew you, whether they were a big part of your life or someone you passed in the hallway a few times a week, they carry this aching feeling around inside them because youâre gone, and they miss you, and they donât know why you left but it mustâve been their fault and they shouldâve stopped you and they shouldâve told you they loved you more and that feeling is never going to go away. And so you killed yourself
but you killed everyone else around you too.Â

I needed this, I needed reassurance that Iâm worth it, and this makes me see the light
I'm interested in law but I'm not a 100% sure if that's what I want to do ? Do you have any advice, and how did you know you wanted to go into law ?
Ahhh yes, the age old âshould I go to law schoolâ question.Â
You should only go to law school if you absolutely think it will be worth it for you either financially and personally (and ideally, both). Iâm personally pretty financially oriented (Grew Up Poorâ˘) so I think itâs always good to keep in mind the sheer cost associated with law school. Law school is very expensive and it is very hard. Many schools give out great scholarships, but many schools do not. If youâre only partially committed to studying law and you donât get a good enough scholarship, youâre going to put yourself in a tremendous amount of debt and a tremendous amount of stress for something that may not even be right for you. But if you are so in love with the idea of studying law that it makes the price tag worth it for you, than go for it!Â
Conversely, if youâre on the fence about practicing law, but you get a really good scholarship, consider it, but keep in mind that law school is not the kind of thing you should do half-heartedly. A lot of times in my life, Iâve adopted the âehh Iâll figure it out as I go alongâ approach. That approach is tremendously incorrect for law school. Maybe itâll work out in your favor and youâll realize you love law, but itâs highly likely youâll just be tremendously stressed out doing all of this work that you might not even want to being doing and youâll end up dropping out. Itâs a truly all-consuming experience and it asks you for everything you can give. I think there are about 150 people in my class and eight of them have already dropped. Itâs not for everyone and it may not be for you and itâs far better to find that out before you start school than after. I would think critically about what you want to do and whether or not a JD will help you accomplish that. If you can, try working or interning in a firm to see if the environment is for you. If you know anyone who is a lawyer or you have alumni connections through your school, talk to them. Even meeting with a college advisor who knows you well and knows how you work can shed some light on whether or not itâs a good idea for you. Itâs not for everyone and youâre definitely going to want to make sure itâs for you before committing yourself personally and financially (and honestly, emotionally).
